He sulked his way downstairs and flopped at the table, annoyed with everything and everyone. His dad might believe he hadn't accused or asked anything, but he had. In his oh-so-subtle way, he had. And Zykariel knew that he hadn't done anything wrong even if his father thought he had. Sticking his tongue out at his little brother, he rolled his eyes when the toddler threw his spoon at him. Where'd the kid get a spoon anyway? Deflecting it with a raise of his hand, he shook his head and went back to brooding.
She glanced up from lacing a bandage around a particularly bad burn and blinked as her husband appeared, spewing orders. "My body wouldn't let me stay down any longer. And I'm healing. We're down to three capable workers right now that don't have some form of injury somewhere on their bodies." Giving him a bemused look that clearly said 'and it's because of you.'

He gave a slight glare back. "Not my fault bad things happen. I'm merely doing what needs to be done to keep things safe around here. If no one has done anything wrong in all of this...well then they've no reason to worry from me." Looking over to a servant who handed him a piece of paper. It was read and handed aside with a roll of his eyes. "Six of you only out there, get it together and what not. Don't stray or get distracted. Anything suspicious you tell me." Thus turning his attention back to his wife. "And you probably haven't eaten yet. Go sit down with teh boys and have something to eat then you can heal. And keep Keely and probably that new thing with you."

"I know." Shaking her head and gently bandaging the wound before her. "You're doing exactly what you're supposed to be doing." She was a bit concerned over what that paper held and what he was sending more of these elves to do but decided it was better to follow his orders than ask questions. "There's a new thing?" Except that one. Her patient healed and ready for work again, she stood up and headed for the dining room, comforting the younger one and bopping the older on the head for starting trouble. "Keely?"

While pigging out on food was the only thing that Giedia cared about last night she awoke with a start from her slumber. "Is it day time?" she asked herself, the events of last night were a bit fuzzy around the edges. All she could remember was loud nosies and sounds of fighting. Unconcerned though about what happened then she decided to go seek out her new master a maybe start some lessons with him.

He followed her out into the dining room, just to make sure she at least had a cup of tea or something. "The new thing...some surface elf traipsing around down here, said she was looking for me. Seems mostly harmless but I never assume." Nodding lightly to her, "Keely. I would feel better if you all were with her. She can help you and I trust her...far as I trust humans and half elves that is."

Broog came up from downstairs, and looked more...gruesome then one might have thought possible. his skin was a mixture of sweat and blood coating it, and his clothes were stained with it, and it probably wouldn't come out so easily. And the look on his face was a dark, determined look. like something out of a monster movie.
He went through the kitchen without much sound, picked up a chunk of meat on the bone, and started on his way back to what he was doing.
The working elves outside were almost finished in thier construction project, and planting plants and seeds. for the most part now they were waiting on the lightsource supposedly coming, and most had protective equipment for when it did arrive and they had to test it.
the structure was mithril and stone, and eight arching fingers meeting in the center, inbetween was etched and painted glass to give those inside the effect that it stretched on outside.
plants were ready and mostly being kept alive through careful use of necormantic and druidic arts. in the center there was a minor lake, more like a large swimming pool. as per fianna's suggestion they routed water to it from teh much larger lake long ago created by efforts of Zahara and Malik, and filtering it accordingly.
Animal life would be the next step, once the lightsource was there and it was fully integrated and functioning as it needed to.

She was feeling strange once and again and sat down just as a cup of tea was set in front of her. Thanking the girl who'd brought it, she turned her gaze back to her husband and began sipping. "From...Andal?" This could bode really badly. "Why would an elf from the surface be looking for you? They couldn't possibly know..." He was dead on Andal. He had to be, she'd damn near killed herself to make sure he was. Chewing on her lip as she took another sip of tea and then nodding her agreement. "I'll let Keely babysit me."

"No...or at least I don't think so. Andal surface trash isn't as naive as she is about this place. I think she's from this plane's surface or another where the underdark isn't something so common. A slight shrug of his shoulders, eyes watching Broog pass back and forth before his attention went back to his wife. "Something about magic and learning. As if my reputation as a teacher proceeds me." Though she managed a lopsided smile from him at her agreeing. "Then I will feel much better." A point to his oldest son. "You'll be staying with your mother." Holding down the fort and trying to make things appear normal, building Malik's...thing...and thinking of the best way to break the news. Ebon Mask didn't sound like a nice fluffy organization title after all.

Magic and learning? Her lips drew into a sour purse and she quirked an eyebrow in his direction. He was teaching other things now? That wasn't a pleasant thought by no means. Of course that didn't get her very far and once again she had a sour teenager on her hands. "Finish your breakfast boys, then we can get back to healing the staff."

A point at her look. "Yeah, that's what I thought too. I'm going to have to break some legs if anyone's been talking about me." Shaking his head and crossing his arms, more or less standing guard over the table as hsi wife and children delt with breakfast. "And if you need me, just give me a call. You know I'll come. Oh and the...thing...they're building outside. I wouldn't go near it either...may get blinded."

"I, nor your sons, have any intentions of leaving this house at all, Sevilin, so you have nothing to worry about in that respect." Giving him a smile and then Zykariel a rather stern look as he put up a fuss over the whole thing. She wasn't taking his crap today. Finishing breakfast, she stood once more and returned to the kitchen to finish tending to those who required medical attention, Zykariel helping and Kelligrin playing nearby.
A few hours later...
"She's going into convulsions..."
"Could it be early labor?"
"No, you idiot. She's not even close to that."
'Well...what is it then?"
"I don't know but it's not good. Zykariel, stay with her. I'll be back." He handed Kelligrin over to Keely and hurried outside to find Sevilin who was overseeing the project from a safe distance. "My lord...." Taking a breath as his near bursting lungs required him to. "Your wife...we don't know what's wrong..." A shake of his head. "She collapsed...began shaking..."
Zykariel was inside, clutching his mother's hand, his mother who didn't even seem to recognize him through the haze that had covered her eyes. His mother who was not speaking, just shaking uncontrollably. He tried holding her but that only made her scream. Perhaps he was doing it wrong?

He did not understand this project nor did he try to. All he knew was that he had orders to make sure this thing stayed on track and that some light braizers were being shipped. He hated those things too, did not like them at all. His rambling in his head on his dislike of such things was brought to a hault however as news was brought to him...and the messenger in this case was going to be very unlucky.
Grabbing the man by the throat, he gripped tight enough with a single hand to cut off his air supply. "Something is wrong with my wife and you come to me telling me that you don't know what is wrong or why? You can't possible be this stupid." And he was now going to rune her too. Trying to keep his head about him though instead of going instant panic mode, he made his way insides and was easily directed to his wife, opening the door and stepping into the room. "Would someone please tell me what's going on?" Coming to stand nexy to his son, looking over his wife. "Zahara?" That was not a good look.

Panting as the convulsions had finally stopped and she was trying to catch her breath and slow her heartbeat, she opened her eyes and looked into the concerned rubies of her husband. "Poiso-" Cut off as once again her body began to spasm and she screamed as a wrenching pain ripped through her stomach, rolling onto her side with the force of it.
"She's got something in her body. I can sense it. It's draining her life energy." Shaking his head and glancing up at his father as that shrill scream made him wince and shrink back. Yeah, this wasn't fun. "Did that elf have a chance to do something to her?" Cerrillia was going to pay for this.

"I wouldn't doubt it...every dark elf of any types always coats their blades with something. It's not the elf that kills you, it's the poison or whatever they use left behind." Taking his wife's hand, giving her something to squeeze. "Problem is I don't know what they us in Norrath. And I doubt beating the answer out of assassin would work." Turning a look to his son, "How much has she taught you about antidotes?" Because he could probably siphon the stuff from her to himself, but then he'd need something for that.

Walking down the dark hall of the fort corridoor was not as hard as Gieda had thought and being proud of herslf for not falling down she began to pat herself on the back. "I am starting to get use to the Underdark," she mused and then began to hum a tune to herself in contentment. As she rounded way in the hall search of Sevilin or Keely for thar matter when she heard a scream and nearley walked right into another person who she didn't know. "Oops excuse me I am sorry." she said
