enamored silence Fenrir Graveheart I guess its something you have to get used to. I take it that the ninja classes/types stuff doesn't stack? You could just set it up in your post format to more easily recall your points in each of the four categories; lots of people do that.
Yes, they do stack on top of your base stats. For example, say I chose Taijutsu (class) and Hand to Hand (type) and I'm a Genin. My class will determine the base stats: 40 chakra, 100 stamina, and I can learn up to 6 taijutsu techniques since it is my specialty -- also, since taijutsu is my specialty, I can learn techniques from any number of taijutsu styles (or 'body art' styles) as long as I learn two techniques from each stage in order to advance to the next, within a style -- those regulations can be found on the technique page. Now what about my type, Hand to Hand? It will add onto my base stats, so +10 chakra, +20 stamina, and +2 more taijutsu that my character can learn = 50 chakra, 120 stamina, and 8 taijutsu. . . . those will be my Genin stats but as you rank up, you actually ADD (or stack) onto them with every level; notice how the descriptions say 'increase by ____' etc. Then after you add all that up, your stats are further customizable by the way you choose to prioritize the four main principles that determine your character's aptitude in a fight: Speed, Strength, Stamina, and Chakra.
Any other questions? :3 Yeah, so when it says Taijutsu 1 that doesn't mean one style? I literally only get to learn a single taijutsu attack from the first stage!? stressed

Some types specialize in more fields than one, however, so it gives you an advantage by being able to learn a variety of things as opposed to only one art. You'll get the bulk of your techniques from your class though. You can also learn get rid of techniques in your list as you go along learning new ones, to free up space -- or at least that's what I was told.

Missions help you expand your horizon. Gathering mission points allows you to trade them in once you have a set amount in order to gain more classes, styles, special jutsu off the master list, etc.

So. Most fight of the days are either live action or japanese animation...So that said let's give a little love for American animation. This is Jwalker's Fight of the Day from the show Avatar The Last Airbender. This show counts since the elemental powers used (the Bending) is HEAVILY inspired from several forms of Martial Arts. In mostly likelihood the gravity of this fight between Prince Zuko, Katara and Princess Azula will be lost on those who did not watch the series...but even so the animation, fight choreography, and music puts together one of the most memorable fight scenes in American animation that I can recall. As always, Spoilers ahead...so if you plan to watch this series at a later date (I highly recommend you do...It's fantastic cartoon)...avoid this video like the plague. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oCXHi0kFucc(SPOILERS: I love how Azula's mental state degenerates severely towards the end of this series. It really illustrates the difference in paths both Zuko and her took.)

I saw. Congrats, haha~ I'm about to finish pummeling this guy, like a boss. He worded his last post inaccurately.
Now I'm off to post with Nightmare.

Now I'm off to post with Nightmare. Yeah, I was reading that. What's this about that people are talking about forming teams for the next stage of the exam? I thought that was up to the moderators to decide.

You were? They're just thinking about how well they might do on a team with so-and-so if it were possible. It is up to the mods to decide though.

Yeah, I'm basically checking up on the thread every so often to make sure everyone is leaving my character alone. Your fight was the post after mine so that's what I've read so far.
