"Mmm hmm!" Kiah nodded in agreement before she started with her stretches, looking at the castle every now and then. "Think we'll make it back around for another lap?" she questioned jokingly, taking in the large structure before them.
Once she was done she straightened up and waited, lightly jogging in place. "By the way... you don't have to hold back for my sake," she smiled and gave him a sideways glance, remembering the last time they'd trained. She knew that he could have easily left her in the dust.

He stretched out all his limps and joints, taking a decent amount of time. The best way to avoid injury was to stretch beforehand, and even though it wasn't an issue for him, he always took preventative measures. He shook his head a little at her joke and moved next to her as she jogged in place.
"Yeah...but I don't want to tire you out before we get to the good part," he gave a tiny hint of a sly smile before starting to jog around the castle.

Kanda: Anything random, really! XD Right now I'm listening to one of my favorite DDR songs. ))
"Ha! I don't get tired that easily!" Kiah scoffed, realizing quickly that he was already jogging ahead of her. She paused at his words before she started after him quickly, wondering what he was talking about. "Hey! What's the good part?!"
She managed to keep up a good pace, though she was still behind him for every lap they made. When they were approaching what she thought might be their final lap, she attempted to pick up speed and push herself, panting a bit heavily.

(( xD I haven't heard anyone talk about DDR in a long time. ))
"The good part is the actual training in the woods."
He kept a steady pace as they jogged, until the final lap. As Kiah picked up her speed, so did he. He was breathing harder than normal and his heart rate was up, but he wasn't even close to being tired yet. He pushed forward and surpassed Kiah by a few paces, looking back at her with a grin.
"Can you catch me?" he teased, egging her into a race.

"But what kind of training?" Kiah couldn't help the little scowl on her face as he beat her so easily.
She was slightly bent over, calming her breathing when he looked back at her. Narrowing her eyes, she matched his grin and started running towards him before he'd had a chance to start rushing off. "I bet I can!"

(( This one is the best. )) "Beat me and I'll tell you!" He grinned and picked up speed, racing her to the finish line. He didn't go as fast as he could have, and right at the last second he let her pass him. He came to a quick stop once they crossed the finish and put one hand on his hip, panting. He looked at her for a moment and then looked away, acting defeated. "I guess you win this time..."

Kiah went as fast as she possibly could, surprised when she passed him finally. Slowing to a stop, she tried not to appear as out of breath as she really was and flexed one of her arms in a victorious pose.
"I told you... I could! So now you have to... tell me what we're doing!" She was sure he'd let her win, but it was fun to pretend that she'd actually beaten him.

He looked at the woods and then back at her, smiling at her victory air-punch. He gave her a sheepish glance before replying.
"Well...I don't actually know. But I promise it will be worthwhile. We can practice our hand-to-hand techniques again at the very least. Maybe we can practice moving through the treetops."

"Haha, it's always worthwhile when I train with you," Kiah answered honestly, tilting her head a little at the last sentence, "Like... jumping from tree branches...?" She wasn't afraid of heights at all, but she'd never actually done much besides climb when it came to trees.
"Think we should do the hand-to-hand combat in the clearing?" she asked, picking up her coat from where she'd discarded it at the beginning of their warm up and starting for the wooded area.
