Sil grimaced ever-so-slightly, her head nodding grimly along with Liv's words. Everything the young woman said made perfect sense to her, and she hadn't meant to let her mouth and opinions get ahead of her again. "I didn't mean to be insensitive, sorry," Sil said gently, one of her hands reaching over to rest on top of Liv's in a comforting gesture. "When my father died we had to come to grips quickly with the idea of my mother remarrying. We wished she had... but you're well off and happy so it's a different world all together." Sad but true, most marriages outside of the Order leaned on convenience and security, not of love. Sil's own parents had been in love, but when left with just mother and two children with no means of survival another marriage of convenience would have been ideal for means of support, though the chance never struck them. If only... "I didn't really think Luci's feelings through. I'm sure it takes a lot of finesse I wouldn't even begin to understand unless I had children of my own," she laughed a little then, finding the idea absurd now with her lifestyle. "Nothing is ever simple. I'm always here to talk even if my mouth is moving faster than my mind is," she smiled ruefully, hoping for forgiveness.

"No, it's okay," Liv smiled and turned her hand over so she could wrap it around Sil's, "Really? You actually wanted her to remarry..?"
It had never occurred to Liv that there would be a chance Luci really wanted Liv to have a relationship with another man. It was definitely something to think about, and she realized maybe she should talk to Luci about the matter sooner rather than later. Of course, Liv would never date another man just to make Luci happy, but if it was something Luci wanted and approved of, Liv would feel more comfortable possibly putting herself out there again. "It is a delicate subject, but...I don't know, maybe I should actually talk to her about it. She's a bright girl, and it has been a decent amount of time now. I'm not saying that would mean dating Mishka of course, I mean it isn't as if he's asked me or anything. But it would be nice to know Luci's thoughts. I would still be apprehensive about things...I've been burned once already, and I'm not eager for the chance to get burned again...but..if the right man came along, and he understood my situation...and especially with Luci..then..maybe...," she smiled a little and gave a tiny shrug, squeezing Sil's hand and looking up at her. "Thank you."
