Liv had just finished her breakfast and slipped in, the soft singsong voice of her favorite redhead ringing through the Common Room. She stopped right there in the middle of the room and laughed a little, putting her hands on her hips. "I wouldn't let Sil hear you saying such things about that cupcake..~" she teased. She laughed again and joined him on the couch, flopping down next to him, "Did you have a good time at the party last night?"

Lavi glanced up at Liv, covering his mouth as he laughed so not to spill any of the cupcake he was chewing happily on. "Darn, we've been caught," he sighed after swallowing the bite, shaking his head wistfully at the remaining half in his hand, "It was good while it lasted." He gave the plate a little push in her direction to indicate she could take something if she wanted, shrugging a little at her question. "It was okay, I guess. I mean, it was a great party," he added the last bit hastily, not wanting to insult her birthday party, "Just kind of wandered about at the end."

She gave him a sympathetic look and patted his leg, "I know what you mean. You don't have to say it," she sighed a little. She knew before she had even asked that Lavi wished he could have spent more time with Sil at the party. She hated that the two weren't able to truly be together, and it hurt her to see them struggle. "We should plan a day out..you, me, Sil, and Luci. When we get out into town, we can split up. You and Sil can have a real date, then."

"At least she seemed to be having fun, so that's okay. Though I have to wonder about her uh... choice in dance partners." He laughed a little hollowly, picking at his half-eaten cupcake. He knew how much she loved to dance and he really wouldn't do anything to keep that from her, but seeing her with Kyle of all people had vexed him a little. "A date," he uttered the word as if it was completely unfamiliar to him, humor finding his laughter this time, "I think the closest thing we've had to that was at Christmas, and we weren't even together yet. That sounds nice, though... I'd like that."

"She didn't dance with you?" Liv frowned a bit, because she had no idea what happened after she shooed them away. She had been caught up dancing with Hyber and finishing the game with Luci, and by the time Mishka arrived, she didn't notice a thing that was going on around her. She smiled because her proposition seemed to make him happy, "I thought you'd like the idea. You know I'd do anything to make it easier for the two of you."

"Oh, no... seemed better to keep some distance..." Lavi shrugged again, deciding to leave his cupcake on the table before he'd crumble it all on the floor, leaning back against the seat and resting his hands in his lap. "After we gave you your present we kinda dispersed. She danced with Kyle." He tried not to say his name as if he'd just eaten something terrible. "I know, thanks," he smiled at her, "It's nice to have someone on our side."

"Oh...," she watched him a bit, "Is he still under the delusion that he's going to blackmail you? I still need to talk to him about that," she scowled and crossed her arms, thinking of a way she would be able to get Kyle off their backs.

"Undoubtedly...," he sighed, scowling like her, "I really hope you can talk some sense into him, cause we certainly couldn't. Even then, I'll always feel uncomfortable with him knowing, though... he seems like the kind of idiot to let something slip to the wrong person."

She thought about it for a few more minutes and then remembered she actually had something very important to talk to him about, "Oh...I have something I wanted to talk to you about. But you have to promise not to panic..."

"You don't have to do that!" Lavi immediately objected, not wanting to force her to do anything she didn't want to for their sake. "I still say we punch him." When she brought up wanting to talk to him about something he sat a bit more upright at how serious she sounded, brow furrowed. "Oh, is it about that new friend you were talking about?" He remembered what she'd said before fruitlessly shoving him and Sil onto the dance floor at the party. "Why would I panic, what's up?"

"No, it'll be fine. He knows I'm not interested, but I think he would still try his hardest to romance me," she laughed, "...No, don't worry. It would just be to humor him."
She turned to face him more when he sat upright, nodding, "Yes...you saw her, right? She's a very sweet young girl...but...it appears that she was let into The Order who knows how, and she hasn't seen Komui or anyone...and I'm very concerned about how she got in here...she doesn't seem to be any kind of threat, but the fact that she mysteriously showed up...and there's more.."

The crease between his eyebrows deepened as she talked, unsure of why she thought it necessary to talk to him about someone who'd apparently entered the Order without official permission rather than someone like Komui. He cursed a little under his breath, frustrated security still didn't seem up to par after what had happened at the beginning of the year. "Why didn't you let someone know immediately...? She might not seem like much of a threat but she could still be." He sighed through his nose, running a hand through his hair. Yes, he had seen her, a young, harmless looking girl, but that really didn't mean anything in their world. "What else...?"

"Well it wasn't exactly the time last night...it just..just trust me, she wasn't anything you're thinking. I think we both know that I have seen my share, and if anyone could tell something is amiss, it would be me...," she rested a hand on his arm to try and ease his worry, "You didn't talk to her, so..just trust me." She sighed a little and bit her lip, "Well.....when I asked her where she's from, it's..two countries I've never heard of, though she insisted they were well-known places. And I know I'm not the most knowledgeable about the geography of the World, but..I think I would have heard of these places. I thought with your vast knowledge and with all the books you read, maybe you've heard of them or read about them somewhere. She said she was born in a country called Xing...and then when she was little she moved to another country and grew up there...called Amestris."
