(Mn..Nan needs to remember my brother is a teenage boy, he's not a child anymore so he won't simply just nod his head and agree to her terms. I mean sure he was late but it's not like it's twelve o'clock in the morning- it's ten at night. I can see how she would be worried though but she's the adult, adults are meant to calmly explain and heck, if they want to ground then they can, but she lost her cool completely at him and then continued to complain about him with him in the same room. I just don't find that very nice is all. :c
*sighs* I really shouldn't be saying such mean things about my grandmother. orz
I do love her but there are times when I question how she deals with situations.

Though I am worried about my brother but if I step foot into his room i'll get yelled at because he's still probably mad.- Ah, nan entered his room and growled at him about his music being loud. orz

Kanda had been gone for nearly two months, his most recent mission taking much longer than anticipated. In the end, he had retrieved the Innocence and carried it safely back to the Order. After a morning of rest and recuperation, he made his way into the Common Room for the first time in too long. Some part of him had missed the place, and he thought about how he had longed to leave it for so long, so excited when he had been given the mission two months prior. Now it seemed he had the opposite feeling about the place, for the first time ever. With a small sigh, he collapsed on the couch and crossed his arms.

The sound of small feet running sounded off in the halls as a blur of black and red rounded the corner and the door and into the room before landing on the Japanese man.
Chaoe herself had been on a mission for a few days and only gotten back a little bit ago, the face she had made when she heard Kanda was back was one of pure relief and excitement, hell, the man who informed them had barely finished telling them when she started running around looking for the man she considered an older brother of sorts.
Back to the current situation of her clinging to Kanda Yu tightly. "Yu-nii!"

Kanda screeched, hardly having time to brace himself for the impact as Chaoe landed right on top of him. He gritted his teeth and made a small groaning noise.
"Tch! Idiot, you're going to break me!"
He sat there awkwardly as Chaoe clung to him, eventually giving her a couple gentle pats on the head, "Alright, you can let go.."

(Wow, my laptop charger just messed up, making my laptop shut off, forcing me to use the ps3 which is being slow. The universe just loves me tonight doesn't it? :'D
Oh well, i'm not mad, replying may take a few more seconds though xD; )
Chaoe blinked before suddenly realizing what she was doing. She pulled back and got off him, hanging her head in slight shame and embarrassment for acting so childish. "Sorry Yu-nii."
She looked at him from behind her bangs. "How was your mission?"

He sighed and waved his hand in dismissal, "Forget it. The mission was fine."
He looked at her and noticed she looked somewhat dirty and disheveled, "Did you just get back from a mission?"

She made a confused before looking down at herself. "Oh, yeah." She wiped some dirt off her cheek with her sleeve. "I guess I should have cleaned up before coming to find you huh?" She smiled shyly. "But when I heard you were back I just sorta ended up running before thinking to." She rubbed a bandaged arm nervously, "Sorry if I got anything on you. But I really am glad to see you back safe and sound." She picked up the bag with her weapon in it and started rummaging through it.

He watched her rummage for a few seconds before he looked down at himself and saw he was clean, "You didn't get anything on me."

She looked up from her rummaging, dropping her crayons on the floor. "Ah-" She got down and picked them up. "That's good, that you're not dirty I mean." She placed the colouring utensils back in the bag, finally finding what she was looking for after a few more seconds. She pulled out her stuffed Kappa, which had some new stitches in it but not just where the limbs connected, it sort of looked like someone ripped it up beforehand. "Look, Miss Emilia fixed him up nicely didn't she? She even agreed to teach me along with Timothy." She smiled brightly.

"Huh? Timothy?" She thought for a bit before shaking her head. "Not really lately. The've been sending me on a lot of missions recently, but when I am here he eats with me and talks."
On another note she didn't want to say it but while Kanda was gone she had been lonely and even a bit scared of sleeping in the dark room alone, she had become too used to his presence there. The thought wasn't comforting at all since he could get her to leave at any time, her grip on the kappa doll tightened in worry. Then there was the news going around about the fights she was getting into with the kids in town and with Aka and Darren. She bit her lip and looked at the floor.

He was glad to hear she hadn't been spending too much time with Timothy, because he didn't like the boy. He was a troublemaker, and since he had taken Chaoe under his wing, he had grown rather possessive. Most especially because of what he had learned from Komui, he was feeling more responsible for her more than ever. The older brother he had grown to become didn't like the idea of his little sister becoming close with some boy, because it was inevitable that Timothy would grow up more and try something foolish. He didn't want Chaoe to come upon any more hurt in her life, if he could help it.
He began to puzzle over how attached he had become, and he found it troubling and bothersome. He tapped his fingers on his arm and pushed the thoughts away for the time being, "What else have you been doing while I've been gone?"
