He clapped the boy on the back. "Zykariel! Fabulous racing! See, I told you that riding style would give you an edge...seems moreso of one because everyone was all kilter by your odd way of racing and yet you winning at the same time." A grin at the boy, "And now you can go get yourself your grand prize and bask in glory."
His attention diversion to her meant he took his eyes off of what interested him so and that gave it opportunity to flee his vision. Which pissed him off and he made a mental note to go through all of Malik's staff later, just to make sure. He had frowned lightly at the boy's cockiness though as his winning but was there to offer his own words to the boy's win. "You did your best and it paid off. Good job Zykariel."

Digging his way out from that suffocating motherly hug, he grinned at Nadai. "I know! And a lot of it is thanks to you and all your training and help." He gave a pleased smile to his father's praise and nodded happily then ventured back into the ring where the ceremony pronouncing him the winner of not only this race but the Big Four was announced and steel was added to his ever-growing stash. Too bad Malikhai wasn't here to take in this proud day...which reminded him of the appointment he'd set with the woman he was assuming was Malikhai's aunt.
Breaking away from the current crowd with more difficulty than he had his mother's hug, he headed towards the address on the paper. He began to have second thoughts when the address turned out to be a house rather than a tavern as he'd originally expected. But steeling himself, he walked up to the front door and gave three sharp knocks.
"He won! He won!" Hugging Nadai tightly and happily bestowing affection on pretty much anything that moved as she celebrated her son's victory. He disappeared but that wasn't unlike him since parties often followed his victories. "I think this calls for a celebration! Sevilin, Nadai?"

"Well I wouldn't want to crash his own party or anything but I'm sure we can have one of our own? Maybe just a few drinks and something to eat and what not. There's always plenty going on after a race win, especially an impressive one like that. I think he's the younget to win all four of those and claim top prize. What was that besides money this year?"
A lot less enthusiastic as he was holding his youngest son but at least he had come and it was a form of support, besides he was naturally quiet. He didn't enjoy the thought of a crowded anywhere either. "Sure..." And hey, he could always be the one that wasn't the most fun because he had to watch Kelligrin.

She heard the knock, and a twitch of fingers and the door opened all of it's own accord, and she watched him with cool red eyes that hinted to other fiery thoughts, before motioning him inside. though, she was enjoyign the black skin look. made her blend into shadow easier..not that it was hard being dark blue, either.
But she knew Gizdean was watching, waiting for a reason. something to put the boy down and hard. hopefully he wouldn't do anything stupid. but she watched him come in, gesturing to a seat near her.
"So, I see you were victorious. Which means buisness before pleasure."
sitting hersle fup and making sure fabric fell in just the right ways to give a young man all the wrong thoughts, before opening a drawer on the coffeetable near the couch, and pulling out papers.
"I own several large suppliers of horse equipment. saddles, tack, grooming items. Since you are probably one of the youngest to win the big races in one fell swoop, your name would make me a great deal of money on my merchandise."
laying the papers on the table between them, with a pen.
"Very simple. Of course after this bit, we can enjoy some pleasure."

"Of course we can. There's plenty of taverns around here who will be more than happy to serve us up anything we could possibly desire." Giving him a grin and a squeeze to his shoulder then reaching out and taking Kelligrin from her husband. "Your brother won his race, isn't that great?" A cheer from the little elf and he grabbed a handful of his mother's dress to hold onto then waved out to no one in particular. "I'm not sure what the prize is this year though I heard it was pretty good. Rumors it was a foal."
"I was." He was a bit taken aback when she suddenly threw this proposition, and papers to accompany it, at him. Horse equipment...and she believed that his name would make others desire to buy it? Perhaps. And perhaps not. He didn't have time to go through all the papers though and his mind felt kind of fuzzy anyway. Flipping through quickly, he signed his name with a flourish then watched her. She seemed rather confident, didn't she?

He chuckled at the little elf's enthusiasm over it all to before looking back to Zahara. "Well, at lest one of us is dressed for a party indeed." He wasn't convinced by Sevilin not that he really cared either way. Supposed it was just good he showed up for the race and he'd probably head home with the baby. "A foal hm? Must be a pretty damn good foal if they think it can beat out of your or D'vinn's stock. In my day we just got fancy tack. Lot more practical if you ask me."

She gave a grin of the cat eatting the canary, and gently took up the papers and sorting it a bit and placing it back in the drawer.
"wonderful."
then turning her attention to him fully, taking a drink from a wineglass and watching him over the rim of it.
"You seem a bit nervous, my boy. never been with an older woman, have you?"
setting her wineglass down and leaning back on the couch, crossing her legs and letting hte fabric fall aside revealing her thighs.
"I won't bite you know. unless you like that sort of thing."

Boy...that just annoyed him. He was damn near an adult, thank you very much. He watched her still, Malikhai's introduction to illusions paying off still as he sensed the veil she was using and also saw the bright blue splotches where she'd only used a thin concealer. His magics tracked a few other presences close by as well and he wondered just what was going on here. "Not in the sense that you mean. Why me?"
She glanced down at her dress and gave him a happy grin. "It seemed fitting since I am the mother of a champion." And that only boosted her ego up even higher. "Foals can be sold or bred, Nadai. I'm not sure where they pulled him from if that's the case though. Unless one of my newest competitors..." Shaking her head and motioning them both forward. "To the taverns."

Being the tavern expert of the group, he led them all away from the track and into one he had always thought highly of. Even had a preferred table taht was tucked in a corner away from the more noisy crowd. Drinks order, it was time to site down and gloat. "Well you know, I'm just happy that the training paid off for him. I know I made mistakes and I wasn't sure there at first if I should be teaching him anything."

Her eyes gave away nothing, but she got the distinct feeling he knew something was up. apparently he wasn't just some racing boy. he had some other formal training. a simply illusion wasn't working.
"I see there's more to you then meets the eye. and why you? Because you won. and your looks aren't bad."
patting the spot beside her.
"Why don't you come over here and make yourself comfortable."

Those were her reasons? He wasn't about to argue with them though since both of them were true. He'd had more than one female tell him just how 'not bad' his looks were. "Pretty generic answers. What if I had lost?" He stood up and slowly moved towards her, settling down on the couch next to her but not as close as he might one of his own girls. "Thank you."
Zahara waved a hand then grinned as her own mixed drink showed up and she took a nice long sip. "Don't be silly, Nadai. You were a professional racer which was one step up from what I was. Besides, he doesn't like to listen to me very much anymore but you he does. He respects you and that's half the battle." Quieting for a moment, "It wasn't your fault, Nadai."

"If you had lost...I'd still try to enjoy the pleasure you might give. just would hope that nay offspring that may be produced I could raise to be a champion where you failed."
Glancing over at him, and reaching out her hand and loosening his shift with her fingernail.
"Are you always this shy when not on the racetrack?"

"I'm not family, I suppose that means he's allowed to listen to me without having to feel like I'm getting the upper hand." Shrugging lightly before going quiet a moment and sipping his drink. "It was in part, but I've learned from my mistakes and I explained that to Zykariel as well. But I think he'll be fine."

"Yes, you're probably right. But that gets so frustrating at times. Sometimes I just want to shake him and tell him that I really do know something about the world and things have not changed that much since I was his age." Although they really had...
"Oh, there won't be any offspring." Even if he did have sex with this woman, his mother drugged him enough that there would be no chance of pregnancy. Whatsoever. "I tend to take my time with women I'm not completely certain about. So tell me a little about yourself. That might help loosen me up a bit."

"Yeah but you know how kids are these days. Without those rigid structures they get to gallavant about and what not. If I were them, I'd do it too. They'll eventually grow out of it I'm sure." Glancing at Sevilin a moment who was contributing nothing at all before back to Zahara. "Well...I think I gave him a bit of a wakeup call so it's not all bad. I'm sure he'll grow into a fine man."
