I'm sure you already know about Thanatos's accelerated growth. Because of it he's managed to attain the ability and mind he has now. His quick maturing has been a great burden to him as well as his main goal. But there is a large obstacle for him to overcome. Thanatos... is not an integrated being. Soon..... very soon infact he will reach a sort of epiphany where he will have to confront his truths and beliefs.....

Yes... some time ago we sat down and talked, that's when I found out about his age and growth. Indeed, he's a quick study. A burden? Yes, I can see how it may be like that. Not.... integrated? Do you mean because he's only half angelic... half... celestial?

No.... this itegration goes beyond his blood. *He continues to stare at the window* You may not be able to tell just how much, but Thanatos has suffered a great deal in his first year of life. Emotionally and physically he's been tormented, had his beliefs shattered, and then had to rebuild them for better or worse. However, as a result, Thanatos has developed other personas, other sides. These sides will represent different beliefs and truths if they remain separate. As such.... when he comes to face his internal conflicts, all of these personas will bear down upon him at once. You probably also recall that Thanatos's aura has not been tamed. If Thanatos is not integrated when he has to face these conflicts, the effects could be physically and mentally devastating

It's not so much a personality as another set of beliefs. In a way, there are multiple "entities" residing in Thanatos's heart and mind, created by him in the event of a paradox of emotion. All of those paradoxes will come back to him. The persona he usually presents, the Thanatos you know, is the dominant yet least definitive. Hence, I fear that when his beliefs collide within him that this persona would be the first to be...... destroyed..... *He sighs and closes his eyes* In essence, if he is not integrated, the ordeal will more than likely destroy his mind or destroy him all together

*He looks back up* I've done everything I can, though more from a second hand perspective, to allow him to know everything he would ever need to create a basis for his life, to develop a set of morals for himself. I admit, I was much more an enabler than a father to him. He's lasted this way far longer than I had expected. By this point, I expected him to come to terms with the world and be able to accept it, then move on, perhaps after some time of contemplation. However, he's held onto himself, somehow, as he is...... I do not believe I will ever understand just why he carries on this way

Perhaps. Though it may not be that precisely.... something is holding him back. There is something he has yet to overcome that would allow him to confront himself. What it is I can not say...... but for Thanatos's sake I do hope he can overcome it....
