Zy opened the barn door completely to let the horses run around. I'm not turning my back to you, I told you I was going to tend to the animals. He told her as he grabbed a bucket with chicken feed in it.

Shaon headed back in and Janan squeaked at her as she sat down, huffing softly as the strange new smells.
"it's okay janan," she coeed, kissing her child and making ehr laugh.

Zy called the horses in the barn and closed the door, locking it and headed in the house.

Zy entered the house and sat next to Shaon and their daughter. He put his arm around his wife and smiled. everything felt better when he was around his family, but how long would that last? Zy was an idiot for thinking they could live a normal life.

Shaon kissed Zy. "When i'm around you everything id perfect." she breathed. "if this is too much of a risk let's leave, Zy. i can live in a cave for all i care, as long as i'm with you."
Janan sat quietly, looking up at her mother and father.
