As she kept ticking off all of his good points, Kyle was increasingly sure that it was him that she was talking about. He hadn't thought Luci was that attached to him, really, considering she'd only seen him for the first time at her party, but he must have won her heart when he beat everyone at bobbing for apples. "Well, if he's so great, what's the problem? He's sure to accept you both!"
"Oh please, what's in the past is in the past! There's no use worrying about it if you can't change it, though I doubt for a second that you would," he answered, huffing as she continued denying her feelings. Finally, he dropped her arm and took her hands in his, staring into her eyes with his signature smile. "If Luci's so taken to him, how could it affect her badly? I'm sure he'd be a great role model for her, you've just got to... break it to her gently. She should want you to be happy."

Liv sighed a little because Kyle would never understand how complicated it truly was. She didn't even think about it when he stopped walking and took her hands, because she herself did things like that with the best of her friends, even though they were just that. She couldn't help but smile a bit when he did, it being rather infectious because he was so bubbly, "I know...I know. But the point is moot when I don't even know what his feelings for me are," she shook her head.
