I'll cave. I won't claim to think I know better than Freud. The man had some pretty good arguments. And with my limited argument skills, I couldn't counter any of them.

Undead are merely the animated corpses of the dead, with some souls tied into the mess... sometimes anyway.
Then again, you could go with Warcraft Three undead... I don't know what the hell those things are, but its creepy and fun at the same time.
It matters not to me what type they are...
