Charges need to be obvious in the post, that's in the rules. If your opponent is sitting there letting you charge like 4 preps without trying to take you down then that person has no business occupying a slot in the tournament.
I can understand it being in the character of a succubus to want to talk about sucking c**k, and I can understand the allure of squirreling away charges. I just think that if you know you're only going to get a dozen ( if that ) posts into the fight to get graded you're obligated to make them at least... gradable.
I did my part and was here all the time when I wasn't at work or lifting. Could have easily put in 5-10 posts a day because I'm just that good.
Honestly, it's not worth taking a hit for not playing the character the right the way. RP score is bigger than the other categories, besides tactics at least. I imagine there's reasoning for that.
It was the first round. If you couldn't honestly make the commitment because life threw you a screwball then you should have said something so someone who could have made the commitment could have gotten in.
Anyway, this is one of the consequences of randomly drawn brackets compared to seeding, but I can't imagine any of us would have been too pleased with any seeding procedure either. If I really do consider doing my own thing again I'll likely have it that the scores for each round will progress and then just randomly do the bracket for each round.
But...Since I'm looking for a second job and am already worrying about how much time I'll have to split between work outs and work, likely won't happen.
