Congrats to Kuju! blaugh
The Medieval appeals to my style of playing. It's not normal Sims, but it has the "best parts" of it. The game play idea is that you have your kingdom and by doing quests you get resource points and with them you can buy new things for your kingdom. The real time play is when you are doing the quests and the quests can be all kind of stuff.
The main difference is that you don't create just one sim and then play that through the game. Instead you have all sorts of sims and then according to the quest, you play the sims needed in the quest. For example I just did a quest where the smith needed to make a Legendary sword. I played with the smith but also with the priest because she was helping the smith with gathering information for the sword.
I've never played Sims with one person more than two or three game sessions. I like the variation and making different kind of sims. For that Medieval is ideal because you accomplish different kind of quests and even though there are still the basic needs your sims need to fulfill, you don't get bored with the "routine".
Sorry for the long post. sweatdrop

@Camwen: I'm not sure. I've played for some time now and so far haven't met the end. You can expand your kingdom to the neighbor regions and you'll get more quests from them. So far there have been lots of different kind of stuff to do.

Well deserved Kuju! Congratulations!
I still play Sims 2, I like having all the expansions. I end up spending more time building and designing and decorating than I do playing my actual Sims though sweatdrop
Jury duty sounds like no fun. whee

Exxos They don't have juries in Canada. It's all handled with trial by rabid moose. Carl? gonk Oh wait, he's not a moose is he.. I ended up just sitting at the courthouse for 4 hours and was never picked to be on a jury. The bright side is that still counts and fulfilling my duty and I can't be selected for jury duty again for at least two years. 4laugh *glomps* Gemstone before she has a chance to run off. wink

The easter event started! This year addition to the egg hunting, you need to find bunnies. You get them by posting, quoting, visiting various places and so on. I'm not sure about the items, but the event seems interesting for a change. whee I'll have time to click around because I'm staying home tomorrow. I managed to catch a nasty spring flu and I feel like I've been run over by a bulldozer. stare

I suppose you get them by going to the main pages and so on. I'm not sure what you get from finding the bunnies since they show up with your avvie only in the event forum. *scratches head*
