I got promoted and finally hired on as full time staff. The only one in the store. My salary increased $4,000, Which seems like alot until you really know what I was making a year lol. I still think I am classified as working poor lol. I get vacation and sick leave now finally too. Working hard seems to have paid off.

So $4,058!

Also, chatterbox post 21,000.

@sapphyre Indubitably... probably lol.

@Exxos ... first you look awesome as always. And Because of the raise I don't have to pay them anymore... it comes out even lol. But seriously I went from about 15,000 a year to 19,000. I know I know, sad and pathetic. I am pretty happy to have some of the stress relieved off of me though. I can only imagine how much easier it will be with that extra cash. Not to mention not to have to worry about getting sick or wanting a day off and wondering how it will effect my monthly income.

@teeshan if this was facebook i would click the Like button hehehehe ^.^

19,000 is still 18,750 more than I make per year.

Yay! Congrats, Joe on getting your full-time. (I'm still not ready for Christmas yet but I did finish buying toys for Toy Mountain Charity). Anyway, I can't wait to see the results from both the ultrasound and stomach x-ray (which I almost rolled off the table). All I know is that I gave my doctor a challenge which he couldn't figure what was wrong with me. All he knows is that there's a lot of gas/acid in the stomach but the symptoms were all wrong to indicate an ulcer or appendicitis. He said it might be a hernia or something but he won't know until the results come in tomorrow. Currently, I'm on med to lower the acid content/ulcer prevention. Aside from the discomfort from the right side, I'm fine.

I hope your doctor can figure out what your ailment is. And more importantly- how to cure it!! ((((hugs))))

I still have the heart of a young boy... I keep it in a pickle jar with my sanity on my desk.

Update: Doc called early in the morning. He said I have a gastric ulcer. (poor tum tum). Anyway, he told me to continue taking the medication and see him after the medication's done (which is about a month). So no more drinking caffeinated drinks (mostly tea) but that's okay... I have an alternative... hot water! I don't like drinking room temperature (bad taste) or cold water (can't taste anything... numb tongue). Some of my co-workers have never seen anyone drinking hot water before.

@ Joe: I'm not expecting anything because I'm still single. sad The only expectation I wanted to see is the riddance of those pesky Helicobacter pylori (stomach bacteria who loves to party hard until the wall breaks... well in my case, it broke but not enough to cause a hole).

*chuckles and huggles fle* The last time I checked, one could be single and still get pregnant wink lol. I am glad nothing is seriously wrong and I hope you feel better soon. I can't believe you can't drink hot teas anymore though? I would have thought he was talking about sodas or something. They do make decaffinated teas though! ^.^
