Terryn nodded, kissing Marcus heatedly for a moment. "I love you." She smiled and gave him a peck on the cheek before running off to find the tub and somewhere to get water for it.

Marcus grinned dazedly before getting some things from his bag, and beginning to fill out the forms needed. He kept skipping lines, clearly too excited to think straight.

It took a while, especially with no help around, but she finally got a bath going. She soaked for a while, her stomach twisting as she sat there. She didn't stay in for long, since she really didn't feel like delaying things any longer. She quite literally jumped out of the bath and scurried to the bedroom to find a suitable gown for a spur of the moment wedding.

Marcus had already changed into some very nice clothes and was now hastily completing the form. "I need your father's seal. Do you have one of your family's rings with you?" he asked, pressing his own ring onto the paper.

"In my bag, wrapped in a handkerchief." Terryn slipped her under clothes on from behind the privacy divider and was now staring at three different dresses. After pondring a moment, she decided that she would wear the gown she had been in when they had met. At least it had some meaning to it. "Alright, here is where I wish I was not a woman dependant on help." She stepped out into the room, holding her hair up with her hands. "I need you to tie my corset in the back."

Marcus got up and attempted a sort of knot, but it was a very practical, efficient, ugly knot. "There's too much string. And it's not like you usually do it." He tugged at one of the strings. "I can't take it off as easily."

"Well that might be a problem." The suggestive tone in Terryn's voice that she wasn't just concerned about being able to change into her nightgown after the wedding.

Marcus grinned. He couldn't care less about the nightgown. "Well...do you have to wear it at all?" he asked, jerking at the knot and creating yet another knot for himself.

Terryn nodded, being jerked as he pulled the knot tighter. "Oof. You do not need to kill me."

"I can't undo it." Marcus struggled for a few moments longer (trying not to jerk Terryn around too much) before finally undoing the knot. "There's too many loops and holes. How am I supposed to do this?"

Terryn chuckled with a roll of her eyes, stepping away from him. She approached the full length looking glass and turned so she could see the back of her corset. "Honestly, Marcus, and they say women are the bumblers." She looped the ribbon through the holes and tied them tight, though looser than her attendants did. She hated when they did it, which was why she often times refused to let them help her.

OOC: As per Google, Terryn and Marcus are kinda already married, evidently. Other than needing to have someone say something from the Bible.
Marcus watched silently. He was usually rather deft with knots. This didn't count, he decided. He dug Terryn's ring out of the bag, stamped it quickly onto the paper, and grinned up at Terryn, now fully dressed. "Ready?"

((really? sweet. what website did you use?))
Terryn pulled once more on the strings and straightened her corset, taking one last look before turning away from the mirror. "Ready." She took a deep breath, her body nearly shaking.

OOC: The first couple hits when you search 'renaissance marriage'. But I think they're actually somewhere in between being unmarried/ married/ Terryn's an legal concubine. It doesn't work because she's not a virgin.
Marcus's smile faded slightly. "You're flushed," he told her, sounding worried. "You know I'm not forcing you to go through with this." He was terrified that they would go through with it, and then Terryn would change her mind. And then where would they be?

((shweet, im a concubine!))
Terryn shook her head quickly, unaware of her appearance. "No, no I am excited is all." She gave him a smile to try and reassure him and kissed him gently. "This is not something I ever saw myself doing."
