Alex looked hurt... this was the first time someone did not remember him aftrer they had met him...

"You really don't remember? I met you when you first came here. I'm Alex, Cole Ethren's son. You know, the crazy kid with blue hair. I met you when you culd still see-"

He cut his last words short; the looked on Alex's face shifted from being hurt for being forgotten to one of embarressment for tactless; his covered his eyes with his hand and shook his head aat his own stupidity.

Takara's eyes softened in understanding as the stranger spoke. So, here was another who remembered her from that time that seems like another lifetime to her. She remembered nothing of it, and was beginning to feel as though there were two persons in her, her current being and one other entity whose past continues to haunt her.

"Please accept my apologies, but I remember nothing from that time. I believe my memories were somehow erased, and though I've been given a few details of that time, it still seems rather foreign to me...Don't worry about it, I'm pleased to meet you, whether this is the first time or not."

She managed a friendly smile, though her heart felt another pang of sadness. The last person who had remembered her was that boy, Tochi. He seemed so sad, and it was because of her...She sometimes wished to remember, to know, what her life had been. It is a strange feeling, as though she lost half of herself. Her senses reminded her of the figure nearby and she gestured to him.

"So, what do you know of this stranger?..."

Ignoring the events that were going ong behing him, Emberis continued to look and Laeadin. Why had the Demi-god of Suffering come here? Or moer to the point, why had the pagoda brought him here?

Alex nodded his head in understanding and brightened up a bit. Looking over his shoulder to the armored man, Alex merely shrugged his shoulders and shook his head...

"I know just about the same thing you know about this guy, I was hoping that my uncle would know more."

Alex turned to Emberis.

"So do you know who this guy is Uncle?"

Emerbis looked over his shoulder to Alex then back to Laeadin.

"One, don't call me uncle, you know better then that. And two, yeah... I know who this is and he's bad news."

Emerbis turned around so that he was facing both Alex and Takara.

"This man is Laeadin, the Demi-god of Suffering. Even though he is a demi-god, I doubt he has the power to breach this places power that the gods themselves have placed upon this sancturary. Which raises a question: Why would the pagoda allow a being such as this man to enter here? To what purpose or end will this all play out to?"

Turning to Laeadin once more, Emerbis began to pace around him. Something about this whole incident had something strange about it. Why was Laeadin just sitting there? Why had he not lashed out or at least tried to against Alex? And what was with this pink talk?

Takara took a step closer to the being, and actually knelt down on the ground beside him, her eyes closed in thought. She didn't know why such a being was here, though she wasn't afraid, merely curious. She softly spoke as she commented, half speaking to herself as she examined his aura.

"He's conscious, though I have no idea why he remains only in this position like so, unresponsive to any of us..As to why the Pagoda let him in...Perhaps it's possible that he is in need of the peace this place possesses...He himself is a living being after all is said and done..."

Emerbis eyed Takara for a moment then looked back at Laeadin. The thought of a being such as Laeadin wanting peace was almost laughable...

"Peace? This man, and I use that term loosely, is more evil then even me. No... something else is at work here. I can not accept that he wants to find peace. The only reason I am the way I am now is because of my younger brother and our mutial hatred for our now deaced evil father... yet this man makes our father look like a saint... something just isn't right about this."

Emberis continued to pace around Laeadin, trying to solve this mystery before him.

*Gently rocking back and forth as if there is nothing else in the world, his energy retracts into himself. The energy of pain itself having had no effect on the magicaly and divinely guarded landscape around him. Slowly, the blackish-red wings and tail shrink into his armored back. At the last moment before all his balance gives out and he slumps over again, his sword seems to detatch from his back and fall, hilt first, at the feet of emberis*

*Still mumbling to himself but seeming to draw farther and farther into himself with each passing second, he seems to start up a soft chant of...*

"pink pink pink pink pink pink pink... cant stand the happyness... pink pink pink pink pink pink"

*Detatched now from the back of its master, Evieyixes, Greatsword of Suffering, Slayer of golden dragonkind, Lance that purged the gates, seeks some entertainment. His master will be fine, eventualy, but in the mean time, he is not about to sit idly by while such chaos can be bred, such evil can be spread. Reading the life essence of those around him, he picks the perfect candidate. Thinking quickly, he sends a suggestion to emberis...."Pick ME up! Wield ME!"

With little effort, Takara could see the sword's darkness of aura, the strength of the evil it held baffling her very mind. She quietly spoke a warning, even if it was probably needless.

"No one touch the sword..."

Her attention turning to the stranger, she tilted her head slightly to the side in puzzlement at the demi-god's rather strange behavior. He himself didn't seem as evil as Emberis described him, in fact, he seemed most disturbed and in need of some kind of assistance (by Takara's reckoning, it would probably be mental). Inwardly shaking her head, she decided to try and help somehow, being unable to simply watch the rather strange scene any longer and remain inactive. On her knees beside the stranger, she hesitantly reached out and grasped his shoulders, attempting to haul him into something that resembled a sitting position, but failing due to his weight and so she settled for simply pushing him into a face up position on the ground. From where she sat, she looked down into the demi-god's face as she tried to communicate with him. In the past couple of months, her mental capabilities had grown stronger, perhaps in reaction to her blindess, and one of her newfound abilities was speaking to a person's mind.

"Calm down, you're so worked up that you're talking gibberish. Take a deep breath and concentrate on something, pick something around you and just focus on looking at it. Whatever it is you're worried about, deal with it later. Right now, just relax before your heart explodes or something..."

She spoke to him in a soothing tone, reminding one of a soft gentle breeze rustling the branches of trees as it passed through. Her sightless blue eyes stared at him, a peaceful deep blue, willing him to listen.

Emerbis once more eyed Takara as she tried to communicate with Laeadin. Had she just told him not to grab Laeadin's sword? When was the last time Emberis listened to anyone. With a shrug he leaned down and grabbed a hold of the sword handle. His reasoning, was that it he took the sword within the walls, what harm could it do. So, ignoring the voice of the sword, Emberis took hold of the blade and held it up to look at it as he began to walk towards the gates.

With a shrill voice, dripping with the innocent slaughter of millions, The sword booms out "A NEW HARBRINGER HAS BEEN BORN"

A silent sonic boom is let out in all directions centered on emberis. forty-six horns sprout from his head, neck, spine, back, arms, and legs. Made of obsidian hardened in the deepest depravity of the multiverse, they drip corosive blood from their tips strong enough to burn through the armor of the most pious paladin.

The shock wave continues on through the pagoda and surrounding regions as it doesnt harm, only alert. All sentient beings immediately know doom is quickly approaching.

Durring the transformation of Emberis's body, He is forced to turn full demon, His wings are shrouded in tendrils of blackish flame and wrap around him as a flowing cloak. His body grows a good 4 feet taller and proportionaly larger, his muscles bulge with diefic adrenaline, and his hands and feet turn into liquid magma that roils and boils.

The sword of suffering, now with a temporary wielder and feeling very bored, gets excited. Energy being pulled from all around, the very shadows being pulled into its aura as it pulses out its happyness.

Alex fall on his backside as he gazed up as his now massive uncle. Alex had always known of his demon family, but he had never seen neither his uncle, aunt, or own dad go full demon. Something deep down inside of Alex told him that this was not normal, his own demon blood resonating in response to this full blown demon in front of him... for once in his life Alex was actually scared for his own existence.

Looking at his now amlost twenty foot tall demon form, Emberis began to feel to new energy coursing through out his body. Images of conquests, him ruling over all, the power to give eternal suffering to his fallen father's soul. Almost everything he could've ever imagine... the most evil, vile, maniacal laughter escaped Emerbis as he bellow out this laughter. He continued on like this until he looked down and saw his nephew cowering at his feet...

With a sigh, Emberis shook his head and breather out one word...

"Damn..."

As if that one word was a word of dispell, everyhting that the sword had give Emberis faded away and he was once again his normal sise, still hold the sword. With a look to Alex, Emerbis point a finger at him

"You're lucky you're family..."

With a huff, Emberis hurled the sword so that it landed within the pagoda walls. Once more, he turned to Laeadin and began to tap his foot, impatiently...

At least he was able to defeat temptation...Otherwise we may have been killed...

Takara breathed an inner sigh of relief as Emberis threw the sword away, her attention turning once more to Laeadin, waiting for some kind of response and hoping it wouldn't be another round of repeated "pink"'s.

*eyes roll into the back of my head and continues my rythmic chanting*

"pink pink pink pink pink pink pink"

*The sword flies through the air, shrouded in its aura of complete destruction, screaming its outrage, and then it enters the pagoda... and promptly looses flight, aura, and voice, and falls to the ground with a clang*

*Quickly the sword rises up onto its tip and starts yelling obscene things at emberis, and if a sword could flip him off, it is*
