She whispers softly. Not showing any cringeing at all, she could play the part of a slave that was used to being man-handled. Kaida smirked a bit evily, leaning back against a tree. "Hmm maybe your friend there should bye her, since he's so protective... I do hop eit fits I'd hate to take this to the Kings left hand gal Ace." *He gently tilts her head up and strokes her neck slowly, affectionatly, as he slowly slipped the collar into place, fastening it so that it was comfortable on her.* "I wont let anything happen to you." *he whispers to her, his eyes gazing softly into her own, gently stroking the back of her neck as he fastned the collar.*

Kaida smirked a bit, she could see through this but had to follow protocall. "Would you like me to take the liberty of takeing her number and transfuring the name? Seems he's takeing a likeing to your sevent."

We're fine now. We'll be on our way." *to Artemis he whispered, still stroking her neck and cheek* "Shall we take these two with us to the mountains?"

Ranulf offered a weak smile and looked up at Artemis and Kouryou. He spoke sofly, "I was aiming to sell her to this man...he'll take good care of her..." he said weakly..."andnowineedsleep..." he mumbled with slurred speech as he drifted off again.
Reyson sighed in relief under his breath so Kaida couldn't hear. He then looked to Kouryou and Artemis. "Shall we head off then? I can carry Ran here for a little while as he regains his strength..." he was careful not to use Ranulf's real name in front of Kaida in case she knew the names of the party from 5 years back.

"Yes lets, no leaving anyone behind, not with this wench around.." Artemis nodded looking to Ranulf and Reyson, to follow. she letting Kouryou stroke as he wished.
Kaida nodded some. "Well have fun then, hope i don't catch you with out a collar again young slave, i never forget a face." she says before turning and seeming to slink away.

Reyson bent down and gently picked up Ranulf, making sure his clothing remained over his ears and tail...they didn't need to expose another one yet. He carried Ranulf over to kouryou and smiled. "so, where are we headed?" he asked.

Kaida laughed a bit as she headed toward town "Oh won' ace be pleased to find out that there are indeed a few... rebels about."

Reyson found that he was able to keep up a lot easier than he had expected. He slid up next to Artemis and walked along beside her. "She's gone...I saw her turn away..." he said slowly. "I can't believe she bought that act though..." he added.

She sighed as she walked a little further, stopping and giving a smile to Kouryou. "don't worry about it, I've had worse, that was quite mild to the trouble I've been in before, don't worry. there's nothing to be sorry for." She tilted her head to his touch gently. "Its fine... really it is."

Reyson nodded. "we'll just be extremely careful as we travel...we'll do everything we can to help you if they come after you again...I'm sure Ranulf will too...as soon as he wakes up..."
