Fira just knodded towards Zetsuei then watched in shock as the attack did little damage to the vines. With that she dove down towards the vines catching up to them quickly as her talons grabbed onto the pod. Her wings opened wide along with her tail feathers to help slow the pod down as it continued to dig deeper and deeper into the earth. As she held on trying to slow the pod down she opened her beak once again as it glowed brightly. This time she shot a more powerful set of white flames directly at the pod to try and burn away the outer casing, still trying to be careful not to harm Maki.

Fira stopped her blast of white fire as she looked up hearing the warning. She screached like an eagle once as she pushed off of the snake-like vines and manuvered herself strangely with her wings. Gracefully she pushed herself to the side as she seemed to fly flat against the tunnel wall that was formed, right as the energy when soring past her. This tunnel was so binding for her that she only missed the energy by inches, with the manuver. She quickly dove down once again, following the path of the energy as it headed strait for the pod.

Holding his arms along his body he became streamline and two black wings appeared forming from his back and folded for him to gain speed as he fell bt retained control of his movements.

"Hold on Maki"


Zetsuei said as he watched his spirit blast hit the vines and incinerated them leaving Maki being entangled by one vine. With a quick flap of his wings he hovered infront of Maki holstering his weapon and snapped the vine away from her body and held her in his arms.

"Are you alright.... can you speak Maki"

Zetsuei could feel Maki's inner pain.

"Her aliment must be acting up again."

Reaching into his pocket he pulled out the flask which had been given to him by the doctor and popped the top off and poured some of the liquid down her throat, then recapped the bottle and placed it back into his pocket

"There ya go Maki, you should be better now"

Slowly flapping his wings Zetsuei assended in the tunnel to get back to the hospital staircase.

With another quick flap of his wings Zetsuei landed on the edge of the broken staircase where the tunnel began. His wings slowly folded up then disappeared into his back.

"Thank you for your help Fira, I need to take Maki back up to the room and get her some rest. If you wish, you may come back up to the room and rest up with us. We could use the extra company. Also since you were at the battle one year ago you are even more welcome in joining us, we are trying to find the heroes who survived the battle and have a reunion. It is all up to you if you want to come back up to the room with us"

Kyana was fascinated by this sudden burst of air.

"Did you do that freind you know of the elements.?"

Kyana was indeed hot and sweat rand down her skin upon her chest and leg. The heat was unnatural but kyana did not question it.

"Endairon is my hometown no more that is nutano. I do not beleive though we shall reach nutano so i suggest we do head to endairon but beware there are thieves and mercenaries that would kill you and gut you as soon as look at you"

Looking over to Shinja he smiled.

"It is alright Shinja, there is no need to be sorry. Maki is fine, alot of her blood has been drained from her body but that is nothing we cant take care of when we get back to the room"

Zetsuei began to walk up the stairs and wondered if Fira would come along with them of not
