"Mio-chan..." Usagi slowly said, very quietly so only Ami, Mako-chan, and Mamoru would hear here. She just stayed there, staring in utter disbelief at the idol. 'Mio-chan...why is she here? But...we can't henshin, we're no longer senshi, what's going on? This can't be happening, this just can't be...' Usagi thought. She chose to not think about it as Mako-chan yelled out. She looked at Mamoru worriedly. She just sat there, clutching him.
Mamoru was coming to a bit as the nasaly voice continued on. Then he heard Makoto's voice, followed by Usagi's. The pain was subsiding a bit and his memories were being pushed to the back of his head once again. He felt Usagi clutching to him and shaking. He let go of his forehead and looked over at Usagi, motioning for her to stand up. "I'm fine," he assured the girls.
Usagi stood up with Mamoru, but still clung to him as they both looked over at the girl with her menacing smile. Usagi was still worried about Mamoru's health but felt better at his assurance. Gaining courage, she said a little louder than before, "Why are you here Mio-chan?"
Mamoru looked down at his girlfriend as she asked their enemy a pretty obvious question. Obvious, yet they were all tempted to ask it. "Ami, get Usagi somewhere safe," he instructed as he removed himself from Usagi's arms and stood in front her, hoping to protect her if anything would happen.
Usagi, surprised, looked up at Mamoru as he broke away from their embrace, but stayed back as he had instructed. She looked over at Ami-chan and Mako-chan, and then once again at Mio-chan, not knowing what to say.

Kunzite noticed his Master's discomfort, but knew there was little he could do for him, so he continued to keep a close eye on Mio. He was fully aware that the girls couldn't transform, so if Mio did make a move for Mamoru, Kunzite was full prepared to take her on. In fact, he looked forward to having his sword in hand once more.
It didn't feel like Mio was the only danger near-by, there was something else. But until that something else showed itself, he would focus on what was in front of him.
Seeing that Mamoru seemed to be doing better, Kunzite stepped up beside him. "You don't appear to be in a particularly good condition for fighting, Chiba-san," he said.
The hostility that most of the people outside Crown seemed to be directing at Kuroki Mio confused Motoki. Aren't schoolgirls supposed to be excited to be this close to an idol? "Mako-chan, do you know her?" he asked.

Mamoru was surprised when Kunzite stepped up beside him. He smiled at Kunzite's concern and replied, "I'm fine, just a small headache, nothing to put me in a bad condition." He gave this safe reply in hopes that his memories don't come up again. He looked over at Motoki, finally aware that he was there. "Motoki, why don't you go inside?" Mamoru suggested to his friend, before eyeing Mio, wondering how she was going to respond.

Mio let her face crumble into a pout. "Nani yo? You would firgove him," she said, sending a look at Kunzite, "but not me? Usagi-chan, I just... I just hoped to make amends with you!" While it wasn't true in the slightest, she knew she had to get Danburite out without notice. Faking a sniffle, Mio turned and fixed her gaze on Motoki.
"Yes! We are acquainted! Aren't we?" she said in response to his question but speaking to Makoto. With a huge smile, she moved away from mamoru and Usagi to approach Motoki. "Kuroki Mio desu! Hajimemashite!" she said with all the cheerfulness in the world. If there was on thiong she was good at, it was showing fake emotions. Coming out as an idol had been good for something.

"Mio-chan..." Usagi said, feeling bad and forgetting for a moment all the horrible things that Mio-chan had done to her. She was blinded by this act that Mio-chan had put up once again, and being the good-natured person she was, was about to apologize. She started to approach the girl walking towards Motoki.
Mamoru saw this and held out his arm to hold her back. Mamoru was not going to be fooled by an act like this and was determined to find out her motives of coming here. "Usagi, don't be fooled," he said. He then turned to Motoki and Mio and told Motoki in a serious tone, "This girl is no acquaintance of ours."

"Go inside? Mamoru, this is Kuroki Mio!" Why was everyone acting so strange? Motoki just didn't understand it. Turning to Mio he introduced himself. "Furuhata Motoki desu. Douzo yoroshiku. I can't believe that someone so famous is here!" Motoki exclaimed, bowing politely to Mio.
'Master's friend might be a problem', Kunzite noted to himself. The last thing he needed was a civilian getting in his way, and now the Princess was even fooled by Mio's tricks.

Mio turned and looked at Mamoru. "Mamoru, I am very hurt by your harsh tone. I do not want to hurt Usagi-chan or her friends... I just... I..." she said as she made herself start to cry. Turning back to Motoki, she quickly returned the bow before straightening and trying to dry her eyes. "Gomen nasai, Motoki-san! I just wanted... I thought maybe I would be welcomed... I... I will leave and I promise I will not come abck and bother you."
'The fool,' she thought, inwardly giving a wicked grin. He did not seem to be highly intelligent. 'He may be useful if Danburite does not leave that place soon.'

Rei was thankful that Minako picked up, Usagi, Ami, Makoto, they seemed to be ignoring her calls, that or they weren't going through for some odd reason. "Minako-chan, it's Rei... this is important, and I'm sorry to interrupt whatever you're doing but... I saw something today in the fire, and I can't tell you over the phone, you need to come here. Usagi, Ami and Makoto need to as well, but I can't seem to reach them. Please, Minako-chan, come as quickly as you can." Her voice was sincere and yet had the tinge of concern in it, and worry. Usually Usagi answered her phone, this time she got nothing.
Artemis heard the whole thing, and slipping down off his sitting place on the wall, he glanced at Minako with concerned eyes. "We have to find Usagi, Ami and Makoto, and get to the temple as soon as possible. I have a bad feeling about all of this..."

Makoto didn't want to anger Motoki, but she protected those close to her. "Yes, we know each other," said Makoto. "but we aren't friends." She slowly dropped her gaze to look back at Usagi. Makoto knew that someone's nature usually never changed unless there such a big influence to make that change. She would never trust anything Mio said because Mio fakes her emotions. That is what makes her evil. "Mio. You've gone too far this time. Stay away from Motoki or I will not hesitate to hurt you! I know how easily you can fake your emotions. They won't work on me." Suddenly, her cell phone rang, but she quickly turned it off. She was to be a distraction while Usagi got away. Only then could she answer it. Though, somehow, she felt it was vital she answer it. This was a deep situation as well. It would be difficult.

"I'll be there as soon as I can, Rei," Minako answered. "Keep trying to reach Usagi-tachi." She hung up the phone and put it back in her purse before turning to Artemis. "Hopefully Rei is able to get through to them, I think it best if we go before them. I want to know what it was that Rei saw."
Why was everyone being so mean to this poor girl? Even Mako-chan! "Mako-chan," he whispered, "what has gotten into you?" Motoki asked before speaking to Mio again. "No, Kuroki-san, it's OK. You are welcome here," he said, trying to make the idol cheer up. "Maybe you could come inside and sing some karaoke."

Mio ignored Makoto and smiled pleasantly at Motoki. "Is that really okay? I would not want to make it awkward for you, since your friends show me so much animosity. But... I would love to come sing for you some time, Motoki-san."

Nephrite wander back in and stopped, eyeing the man he had argued with before and... Zoicite? Walking up to his companion, he said gruffly, "What the Hell are you doing here?"

"Nephrite!" Zoisite exclaimed in surprise. "I..." he wanted to explain the situation, but... he glanced at Danburite again before replying. "It's a long story."
He was afraid to say anything to Nephrite that would arouse suspicion of Danburite. Protecting the Master came first, and until Zoisite figured out a way to do it that didn't involve lying to his fellow Tennou, this was the way it would be.

Makoto felt so uneasy, but what that phone call she got? "Wakatta..." she sighed. Did Motoki really trust this girl? She felt it was her responsibility to protect Motoki, but some things were more important. If The Dark Kingdom was back, she had to stop protecting Motoki for the time being. At least...this was until her powers could be returned to her. With decisions made, she quietly told them to the rest of the group, except...with a little twist. She told them she had to answer the phone call on her cell. She said this so that only Ami and Usagi could hear. She ran behind the building with her bag and answered the phone call. "Moshi, Moshi?"

Jadeite walked back over to where Zoisite was now standing with Nephrite. "Oh, Nephrite! Hi! We were just out for a walk and we decided to stop by and see how you're doing." He didn't trust that stranger he had seen with Zoisite, but he ignored him and kept the feelings of mistrust to himself, for now. He smiled a little, trying to lighten the tense mood.

"Jadeite? When did you..." Zoisite trailed off. He hadn't seen Jadeite enter Crown, which meant that he must have walked in when...
He needed to change the subject, and change it now. "We were... going for lunch with the Master. If you can get off work, perhaps you'd like to join us?"
