Musashi laughed as he kept an eye on his opponent and those around him, "Nobunaga is a foolishly ambitious man. He doesn't realize that no matter how much he conquers his ambition will eventually eat him from the inside. Oh, and you should know that I dispise Nobunaga. I did not come here to take advantage of you folk. I came here because all of the good fighters left Japan and I figured that there had to be some other good fighters here. The death of the Chinese is not my goal." He said all of this with less and less difficulty as he began to get the hang of the language. "And that is why I have not killed you yet. I only kill those who give me trouble. You, however, are too tired and inexperienced to deserve a death courtesy of my blade." As he said this one of Date's samurai ran up behind Musashi, ready to attack him for killing the samurai from before. He glanced back with sharp eyes and quickly switched his blade around and thrust it behind him, piercing directly into the weak spot in the samurai's armor. "These men, however, throw their lives away and pose a great threat due to the fact that they kill or be killed on a moment's notice."

Gan Ning again stepped to the side, waggin his finger as he did. He couldn't show any weakness even if he had been hit in the leg and it stung, but didn't lodge inside the flesh or anything. "It seems that your army is retreating, would you like to go with them? I will let you, since I'm so nice." he faked a smile.

((Sorry Spaz, but it seems that situations have to delay our battle))
Tadakatsu Honda was not that far from the battle between the girl Xing Cai and Date Masamune, and was not far to see the midget's defeat. That was not good, that means the armies were without a commander until he could recover himself. That means that they would be leaderless unless Tadakatsu did something. He grit his teeth as the decision racked his mind, but he had to do it if they were going to be able to scrap any victory over this battle.
"Mikuniguro!" he called out and his horse rode up to him. He slashed a chinese soldier that neared to close to him and mounted on his horse. "I'll fight you later," he said to Sanada.
For now, he would have to take to his own men. Glory was not going to win them this battle. Ieyasu would not be too happy to hear his army was defeated. He reeled his horse and rode out towards his men. It was time to rally his troops for a strike and kill.
====Guan Xing====
Xing stared at Musashi with a blank stare. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. This whole time that he was fighting for survival, he was being toyed with. It took a while before Guan Xing could even formulate anything to say in his mind, and even longer to put them to speech.
"I... no way," he stammered and shook his head. "Why didn't you just tell me in the first place?"
====Minamoto Uesugi====
Minamoto stopped his attack and looked around him. It was true, some men were falling back, but not retreating. This was merely a switch between lines from reserves to front line. The battle was turning into one of attrition, so the tired soldiers would be allowed their brake and the fresh troops could go in and crush the tired Chinese.
With a grunt in response, Minamoto came at Gan Ning again, however his path was cut short and he had to dive out of the way less he were to be cut down. Standing before Minamoto and between Gan Ning, stood Zhou Cang. The ex-bandit turned his head and looked back at Gan Ning with a smirk. "You alright?" he asked him.
Minamoto stood, two opponents, not good odds, but that was why his style was originally developed. But this newcomer was probably just another soldier, yet something kept telling him that was not so.

"You wanted to fight, I wasn't about to turn you down... Nice try though, you definitely have some skill, you just need more training and experience." Musashi nodded and stood back into a less threatening stance, but still on guard for other soldiers. "So what's your name? I am Musashi. My reasoning for being at this battle is that Lady Xing Cai was kind enough to let me stay here, but then a battle broke out and I had to check it out. I will be on my way after this is over though."

Yukimura watched as Tadakatsu mounted his horse and then retreated, his breathing shallow and his face covered in sweat, matting strands of hair to his forehead. He turned his attention to where Xing Cai and Masamune had been fighting and found the reason for Tadakatsu's retreat. It seemed the girl had been victorious over the One-eyed Dragon, and so without a leader, their fighting was useless as the news of his defeat would soon bring a decrease in morale.
He thrusted the butt of his spear into the ground, leaning against it some to rest, his muscles aching from his struggles with Tadakatsu. Yukimura watched over the battlefield before him as numbers thinned and more and more samurai fell to the chinese warriors.
He uprooted his spear from the ground, walking into the fray once again to aid the chinese in sending the samurai troops retreating. Yukimura had now witnessed that this particular faction of China were quite strong, and was sure that these people would soon grow to become his allies in his fight to send his own race back to Japan.

Ooc: Resuming the "Clash of the Ninjas" which Myth brought to my attention. sweatdrop
Small sparks ejected from the blade of his kusarigama as he raised it swifly to block the first of the projectiles Tsukiko had sent his way. Hanzo continued his evasions with a swift roll to the right. Now on a single knee he raised his kusarigama once more, flicking his wrist to deflect the rapid fire of shurikens. Even through his quick movements and skill in timing, his evading was not a total success, this becoming apparant as a single shuriken whizzed by, tearing open his sleeve and ripping open the flesh of his bicept rolled back to the left, attempting to avoid it. Had it not been for his agility, the shuriken would have opened his throat instead.
Hanzo turned his attention to his wound only for a second, eyeing the blood that seeped into the frayed and ripped cloth. He raised his head, returning his attention to Tsukiko. "You and your master threaten the success and future of my lord.The Tokugawa will gain power through the Oda." Came his dark, raspy voice from behind clothed lips. "Keeping you alive hinders such. Therefore, you must die."
With that, Hanzo lifted his body and dashed towards, tossing out the bladed end of kusarigama, tightly gripping the weighted end placing his free hand on the chain, preparing to reel the weapon back in with a single, swift movement.

Gan Ning watched as a new officier sprang into action, "Oh, I'm fine, don't worry about me, man. I can handle this guy by myself...." he grunted a little at his swollen leg, but it was fine. He just stood still, waiting for one of the two to make a move before he did, this might be interesting again.

After a short ride Matsukaze was still gallopping strong and came up on the battlefield. Keiji could easily distinguish where the best point to penetrate the battle was, spotting a large cluster of dozens of disengagued samurai. He came upon them like a crashing torrent, sending men flying like they were nothing. He slashed out with his Izanagi, cutting men down left and right as his horse trampled several others. He gave a large cry, letting everyone know that Keiji Maeda had arrived. No one would know that he was fighting for Wu until Lady Ren and the others came too so he had to be careful. He was quite obviously not Chinese which would confuse many men on both sides, which is why he was fighting from the back rather than the middle.

((Alright, this battle has taken long enough, and Tokugawa has a new plan of action on how to conquer China. Beware... beware...))
==Tadakatsu==
Tadakatsu returned to his lines to rally his men, only to see the crazed Keiji Maeda tearing up his lines. "Damn him," Tadakatsu cursed. "Nonetheless."
He returned to where his officers and haralds were to give them new orders. "Send the flag up for a regroup, we're going to retreat. We'll hold rear guard for Date Masamune seeing as he's injured. Be sure to send a rider to him so that he can hear the message... a brave rider that is," he added on a side note knowing all to well that Masamune would not be happy. "Our men are to do a fighting withdrawl. If the enemy pressures too far and become outstretched, we'll do a quick counter attack to throw them off our backs. I can not risk my lord's army for such a small city."
His men nodded and bowed and went about their business. Horns blared throughout the battlefield ringing the message of retreat, a sure defeat for the Japanese army, or perhaps a ploy to trick the Chinese.
==Guan Xing==
"So you are the one she was talking to before we arrived," Guan Xing realized. "Glad to see one of your calibur to help us. I'm greatly pleased," he finished with a bow. Then the sound of the war horn was heard and Guan Xing turned his head. "The enemy is retreating eh? Finally."
==Minamoto/Zhou Cang==
Minamoto glared at his new opponent and sized him up. HIs original assumption was become greatly wrong, this man was not normal. Though, he had no idea of his skills yet. Minamoto shifted his weight and stance and with almost no warning, shifted low, brought his No Dachi behind him and stabbed forward with his katana. Zhou Cang caught the movement and before the dealthly strike could hit, Zhou had parried the katana to the ground.
"Haha!" Zhou Cang exclaimed happily. "Not so tough are you?"
But before he could finish his sentence, Minamoto used the momentum to swing his body and No Dachi around, skipping Zhou Cang and headed for Gan Ning in a surprise attack. During which, he slipped his katana away from Zhou Cang's spear and was bringing it back as well, surely to go for another momentus swing.

Keiji was right in the middle of cutting down another samurai when he heard the war horns calling for a retreat. He shook his head in anger and cried out, "You're already leaving? Aww, come on, I just got here! Tch... Bastards." He continued to fight while he still could and even began to chase after the samurai as they retreated. He would deal as much damage as he could before they could get away, hoping to have at least some sort of impact on the situation.
Guan Yu continued his onslaught with Xing Cai at his side when suddenly the a strange noise rang out through the battlefield. It was the samurai leader calling for a retreat! Yu turned to Cai with a large grin and said, "We've done it..." He turned back and raised his Blue Dragon to the sky and shouted, "Victory!" The troops all around began to cheer and shout at the God of War's cry but they continued to fight hard to seal the deal. Guan Yu lowered his weapon and turned back to Cai. "If only we had more troops I'd say we should chase after them, but both yours and my men are tired from battle. You look like you could use some rest too, my niece."
"Make no mistake, I do not fight for your kingdom. Not yet at least. I am merely repaying a small debt and exploring the fighters of this land, that's all." Musashi said with a donward slash into the face of an oncomming samurai. Tadakatsu's troops began their retreat and Musashi showed a small smile through his short stubbly beard. "Make no mistake about them. They returned after losing once and will probably return again. You should make sure that your forces are constantly ready. In any case I will meet you again, hopefully. Perhaps after a little more training and a good night's rest we can fight again." He gave a sharp nod and began to walk away, parrying blows left and right as he headed toward the edge of the battlefield.

"...We... did it?" Xing Cai repeated, looking up at her uncle and listening as his voice thundered out. She looked around and saw that the samurai were indeed retreating... incredible. Had they really won? It seemed too good to be true, but it was! She smiled to herself and nodded to her uncle's words, too tired to speak. Her smile faded as the samurai farther away, and she recalled something that she'd done.
"Lord Guan Yu...." Cai began, speaking to him in a formal way, as he was her commander. She turned to face him and lowered her head, looking down at the ground almost shamefully. "I... let you down." She bit tongue, trying to control her emotions better. "I promised you... that I would keep Xia Pi... safe... and I failed to do so...."
Xing Cai felt like saying something else, but instead she swayed there as she stood. She tried to regain her balance but failed and simply fell over on her side, unconcious.

Guan Yu shook his head at her and would have said something comforting had she not fallen over. The enemy was retreating almost fully and there were very few people left around them who were of any threat, so Yu simply slung his mighty weapon over his shoulder and lifted Xing Cai up, to sling her over his other shoulder, to carry her back to the city. He had done enough in terms of battle and chasing the enemy army would not be advisable, however, he called one of his captains over and said, "Stay alert. Rest while you can but do not let your guard down. We don't know when they will be attacking again and we can't take any risks." The captain spread the God of War's order among the ranks and the remaining troops that had come from Xiao Pei hovered outside of the gate, putting out fires and cleaning up any last few enemies that still hung around. The ram that Date had assembled at the gate was now on fire and out of use. It had done massive damage to the gate, but nevertheless the gate still stood and even functioned.
Yu made his way into the castle and set Cai down in her room to let her rest. Meanwhile he meandered out into the streets to help clean up. There were still fires that needed to be put out and several samurai that had made it in and didn't know that the retreat had been signaled. With his patrol he suddenly spotted two men who looked as though they were very strong, still fighting off Shu soldiers. "What's going on here?" Yu asked to Yoshitsune and Benkei, curious to see why two men so well decorated would still be fighting. They had to be officers. Why weren't they retreating?

Benkei had cut through yet another Chinese man when he heard a loud, deep voice come from behind him. He turned around and saw Guan Yu standing there strongly then looked to Yoshitsune. "Lord Yoshitsune, this man... I have a bad feeling about this. He is not Japanese."
Yoshitsune glanced over and said, "I know what you mean, Benkei. I don't know if I could beat him alone and with your injury you would probably be no match for him."
Benkei shook his head, "Should we make a break for it?" Yoshitsune frowned, "We're too deep in their city, I don't think we can get out unharmed. If he's here then that means the battle outside is over with them being victorious. We might as well surrender and make our escape later. You can still pick locks, right?" Benkei nodded then turned fully to Guan Yu. He set his naginata down on the ground and held his arms up, standing tall. "We surrender to you, bearded one." He said in Japanese, hoping that Guan Yu would understand.

Guan Yu, baffled by what he saw and heard, approached the duo slowly. It was then that he noticed that the larger man, someone who was nearly his size, had an injury and was bleeding quite a bit. He shook it off and took the opportunity that presented itself. "Guards, take these men to the jail." Yu called out. Several guards ran up, grabbed their weapons, and restrained the two men. "Be easy on them, they will not resist." He added as they took the two men away to the jail cell inside the castle. He then finished his patrol of the castle to see if there were any other men left to provide resistance.
