Sailor Eleonora

It was difficult to ignore her sister's watchful glares.

At best Eleonora could duck behind a taller individual or stand on the complete other side of the crowd, but in the end it would be that twin thing they had going on would be what would eventually give her away. Not that it was a big deal, Alcor knew where she was at and would be for the next hour or so; at least until the crowd decided it was time to disperse.

One glance back and the Senshi of Cold stood near one of the trees exactly where Eleonora had left her, a sour look still twisting her features into a deep frown. The next time she looked back, however, her sister was gone.

Knowing Fiona was not just angry but likely royally pissed that she’d been lied to, all Eleonora could do was just roll her eyes at the situation. They were both adults and could make their own decisions.

Yes they were family.

Yes they were roommates.

But damn it all to hell if she’d be made to feel guilty for being curious. Last time she’d listened and avoided talking with Caedus and since then she’d done as her sister had advised but if what they said was true, that they could get rid of the Negaverse then there would be no more reason to hide who or what she was and could power up without her sister nagging that it was unsafe.

This idea they had was something she could get behind, if only she could just talk to one of them. At the moment, however, it seemed that Caedus was the only one entertaining questions since Commodore Lyndin had gone back inside. Seemed the best chance she had at talking with someone would be if she came back sometime later and so she weaved her way out of the crowd after listening to the introductions and a few of the questions that had been asked.

Maybe Fi might find some of it interesting, maybe not… either way she’d tell her twin what she’d heard and let her do what she wanted with the information.

Caer Sidi, Squire of Cosmos

There was so much discussion, and so many things said, and Caer Sidi frowned, thoughtfully. Plenty of people were asking all kinds of questions of Caedus and Lyndin, and she wasn't quite sure what to make of any of it.

Perhaps she would have to make some time to talk to Hyperborea after all of this was over, and get her perspective on all of this.

It sounded like a bold plan, well thought through and well considered. They would take energy, and use it to power the devices the aliens had brought, and those devices might be used to destroy the Negaverse once and for all. Wouldn't that be for the best? To eliminate the problem once and for all, to stop having to fight?

There would....there would never be another death, like the girl Caer had watched get skewered not a week before.

She wrung her hands together, frowning faintly. There were so many people that seemed opposed--and they had their reasons, she was sure, but it was hard for Caer it see this as anything but a risky plan well worth the potential payoff.

Destroy Metallia. End the Negaverse.

Part of her had to agree with the people that were concerned with some new evil rising to fill the Negaverse's place, but at the same time, she couldn't help but think that it almost didn't matter. If something else moved in, they would stand up to that--and with a much bolstered force, if everyone really was purified.

She really would have to talk to Hype, and maybe some of the others. Surely those who had been in the war longer and had a better idea of everything that was going on might have thoughts on what to do.

A soft sigh passed her lips. What a complex, troublesome situation--and there was nothing she could do to make it any better. Perhaps it would be best to withdraw and regroup later.

Gently, she placed a hand on Hyperborea's shoulder.

"Can we talk, love? Privately?" She asked, voice soft. "Later, if you need more time to catch up with your friend--and I can leave you to that."

She knew that she could have all the time in the world to ask Hype questions. For now, she intended to slip away.

Fólkvangr Squire of Ganymede

It wasn't exactly a surprise that plenty of people drew close to Princess Ganymede. She was a beacon, bright and shining, and of course other people found her. There were several other Knights of Ganytmede, her brothers and sisters in arms, of a sort, and Fólkvangr determined for herself that she wanted to speak to them later.

At least Ganymede knew who this was. Fólkvangr frowned, thoughtfully; she remembered the invasion, of course, but from the other side, and she'd wondered how Order had managed to get into the Negaverse's space.

So this was the answer. Outside help from a stranger who brought with him a whole civilization's woprth of potential allies with technology and knowledge far beyond what they had access to on Earth.

How utterly fascinating. And exciting.

All of this was quite strange, she had to admit; extraterrestrial contact was pretty new to her, and while she'd never bought into the Negaverse line about Senshi and Knights being invaders from off-planet, it really was stark to see that, well...invaders from off planet very much did and could exist.

Fólkvangr shook her head. There was little for her to do at the moment, except for absorb all the information coming at her, and while she wanted to speak to the other Ganymede Knights present, this probably wasn't a good time for that.

Better to listen, and wait, and consider.

The plan, of course, was fascinating. Borrow a little energy from willing donors--already a step up from what the Negaverse demanded--and use it to power a weapon that threatened to destroy Metallia.

That had been their goal with the last invasion, hadn't it? To destroy Metallia? And maybe it would do what these strange visitors promised. Maybe it really would end the war.

Fólkvangr wasn't willing to pin her hopes on that.

It felt far, far too simple. The idea that, even with a massive weapon, a being like Metallia could be killed in a single shot....no, it was just too hard for Fólkvangr to accept. Certainly she wanted it to be true; the wanted the war to be over so that she and her loved ones might have a better chance of living safely in this new world.

But there was too much at stake to risk the possibility that this was not, in fact, what was promised.

Fólkvangr sighed.

Much to consider. But at least they had time to do so.

And at least it was a choice. That was refreshing. If she wanted to, she could simply not assist--no one was going to force her. The thought cheered her, as she prepared to leave. Freedom was a refreshing thing to experience.

Aokigahara, Transcendent Squire of Saturn

Aokigahara nodded. That Yomi had hidden away from the battle in Negaspace didn't draw any judgement form him; he expected that his brother had done whatever was necessary to ensure his own safety. The news of what the aftermath had looked like from the Negaverse side did draw an almost-smile to his face.

"So we weren't successful in destroying Metallia, but we certainly were successful in causing a bit of chaos for the Negaverse." What a delightful prospect. "A victory, even if not the one we intended."

Yomi's hesitation, though, made him nod, thoughtfully. He reached up, almost unconsciously, to brush a thumb over the glowing marks on his cheek. The results of the invasion, clearly, had not been what they wanted.

And yet part of Aokigahara sang that they ought to try.

"It might, certainly. And it sounds like our last attempt at an all-out attack resulted in some damage and some reshuffling, but not exactly the end of the organization." He frowned, thoughtfully.

He was silent as the argument raged around them, contemplating the options presented. There were many, he thought; they could help, they could hinder, or they could stand back. But the part of him that was decisive--the part that had seen Masao Himura's treachery and sold out his own father--longed to strike, as directly as possible.

"I think," he said, voice soft, "that it may, at the least, be worth a try. To cooperate and see what happens. Caedus did do as he promised before; he delivered us to the Negaverse's hidden sanctuary and allowed us to strike at them unexpectedly. Even if all this weapon does is cause serious damage, serious damage to the enemy is a step forward."

Not an end, of course.

"I agree that this is unlikely to completely wipe the Negaverse from the face of the Earth. If nothing else, I quite believe that Metallia is more resilient--that Chaos itself is more resilient--than can be wiped out in a single strike, even a powerful one. But it may be a powerful move in this ongoing conflict."

He rested a hand on Yomi's shoulder.

"Let's go, shall we?" His voice was soft, still, an endeavor not to draw too much attention to their conversation. "We can speak more in private. At home."

Sailor Guinevere

God, there were so many people here. It made Guinevere want to shrink, between the sheer press and the arguing--she hated to be in the middle of arguing. And so while everyone bandied about a hundred opinions on what to do about the aliens, she was silent, lips pressed into a thin, tense line, and she fiddled nervously with her hair like that would help ground her.

It did, a little, and so did the fact that she was with her friends, not alone in the middle of a fight. And this wasn't even really a fight--this was just a bunch of people disagreeing, as Order was wont to do, over whether or not they were going to use a superweapon against the Negaverse.

The thought made Gwen shift uncomfortably. She didn't like the prospect of shooting some laser at Metallia and hoping ti didn't take out anyone else in the process--it was risky and the whole process left her feeling unsteady. But maybe that was what was necessary. Gwen had seen all the bullshit that happened in this stupid city. She knew that there was plenty of awful s**t that went on out there, and she knew that the Negaverse was responsible for most of it. Maybe it was stupid to be naive and think that there was another way to win the war.

Maybe they did have to drop a ******** laser on everyone and end them. Maybe that was the best way to do it. Maybe it would save more people than it destroyed.

But Gwen couldn't help but think of that funny Captain she and Morgan had fought-the one that flirted with them instead of threatening them. And she didn't like the idea that there was a chance she might get caught in the crossfire of some massive laser sent to destroy Metallia.

She huffed, softly, and kept her thoughts to herself. She doubted that her sympathetic feelings would go over well here. But she hoped she'd have time to discuss all of this with her team, after all of this was done. She cared way more about what Morgan and Hania and Isolde and Parsifal--and even Arthuradel--thought than she did about randoms outside their group. So, later.
