Stormy stopped eating and looked him and said " Well I am used to taking risks, when I left my orginal pack I had to learn how to hunt on my own, not all my hunts went smoothly there were sevearal times where I timed it wrong and ended up getting kicked and going hungary."

Stormy's body went stiff when Kurogane said that hunting elk was dangerous thing for a girl like her and was about to go on a rant about how girls can do anything guys can, and sometimes do it better. When suddenly Kurogane licked her muzzle saying that she had elk on her face. All train of thought vanished from her mind and as her face heated up she had a brief goofy look on her face. She had never received this kind of affection from a male wolf before and didn't know what to do next. She sat there trying to make a sound when finally after a few minutes she squeaked out "What did you do that for?"

Stormy managed to calm herself a bit by taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly. She was dissapointed that all he was doing was getting some food off her face and not showing affection. She was about to respond but before she could he spoke up "Stormy...". She look shyly in his direction and said "What?"

Stormy looked at him in shock and asked " Run away? Why? and where would be running to?"

"Somewhere. Anywhere. We could do as we please. Because I want... to know you better...." Ever since their first encounter, Kurogane never would have thought take this would take place. He figured at some point he'd get so angry with the gray female that he's try to snap her neck but not the feeling was gone now. "Before, I had a completely different opinion about you. You made me angry, and for a while I hated it. But it's like I like a challenge. It's like you are doing something to catch me off guard."

After speaking to her alphas about leaving the pack Stormy was on her way to meet Kurogane she was already a day late meeting him and hoped he would still be there when suddenly she was attacked by a group of wild dogs that the humans had left long ago. "They must have followed me from my packlands, they must be starving to try and go after a wolf." At first Stormy tried to out run them but they were determined to catch her and when she wasnt paying attention one managed to speak up from behind and take a large bite out of her side. Stormy gave a loud yelp of pain and bite him back causeing him to let go. As she continued to run she saw a small crevice in a large group of boulders and made a mad dash for it she made it just in time and wiggled her way to the very back of the crevice. Since the opening was so small and hard to get into the wild dogs couldn't reach her. As Stormy sat there panting heavily while the wild dogs violently snarled and tried to claw and strach their way into the crevice she wondered how in the world she was going to get out of this mess.

Upon arriving back, Kurogane called out for Stormy then waited. No answered he called for her again and waited. Still nothing. Using his lungs this time, Kurogane howled for her long and loud then waited for a response. Maybe she wasn't there yet. Sitting down near a dead bush, he waited for her return or a signal. "She'll be here. She'll be here..." he said to himself to pass the time a bit more.
