Victor had finished sending the text message when he saw someone walking towards him in his peripheral vision. A familiar voice then came along with the appearance. Victor looked up from his phone to find Alexandria standing there, ready to get her sweat on. His face lit up at discovering her and smiled at what she suggested. “Yeah, all the good just walked in.” He said in an attempt to flatter her. Victor stood up and put his phone in his pants pocket. He wasn't dressed in the school uniform like Alexandria was since he figured he would shower and change after wards. Alex then asked Victor a simple question that meant different things. He smiled and put one hand on his waist. “That depends...are you here to train?” Victor asked with a nod at her direction, remembering how they hadn't got their dance on the dojo floor. He could see her rapier sitting still at her waist and that meant business. Victor had put on a few more pounds after consecutive weight training and Alexandria looked a bit more toned than before, her legs did at least. Victor didn't give Alexandria enough time to catch him looking at her legs and stepped past her to the barbell set where he had his shirt. He took off the towel before speaking. “The dojo should be pretty empty right about now.” He said as he threw on the shirt, not facing her. “Want to have a friendly sparring match between friends?” Victor said before giving a quick glance over his shoulder at her. It was difficult to hide his excitement when his grin stretched at the corners of his mouth. He turned around and took his towel and water bottle before approaching Alex again. “Maybe this time we can finish before having the walls torn down around us.” Victor said, looking down at Alexandria. The last time they had attempted to spar, they had been interrupted with an attack shared between two demons. They had happened to belong to Ignazio which they later discovered but that was how they had met the second time, the first being at the great bridge in town. It was like fate, that the three would meet all at once and not separate after that, but fate had a way of surprising you. “So, what will it be? Your needle against my fists?” Victor chided as he nodded at her rapier before combing his hair back with his hand. It had gotten disheveled a** he worked out but now settled backwards slickly.

      Alexandria watched as he turned away from her to throw on a shirt- she could only guess he was hiding something. He tended to be like that… But the words he spoke told a different story. A rematch, hopefully this time the building wouldn’t collapse and they wouldn’t be forced into a real battle. Her mind drifted to the battle against the iron bird- one which she was forced to show her great agility and test her luck. The odds had been in her favor the day. She looked back up to her friend, Victor as he asked if they were to spar, fist to sword- or rather needle as he called it. A fair analysis of her thin rapier, Avarice.

      A coy smile crossed the girl’s lips as her olive eyes lit up with excitement;
      “I had come here to train.. You can’t keep form if you don’t practice every day. But… since your offering a rematch. I’ll take it- we all know I would of won if the dojo hadn’t begun to fall apart~” She spoke like it was a matter of fact, as if there was no doubt she would prove the victor “once more”. Her coy smile returned before she turned away from him, walking off towards the dojo. It was a look he likely knew very well.

      As the young doctor reached the rebuilt dojo, in truth, the place hadn’t changed much. Disregarding the slight bumps on the walls from where the stone had been melted from Ignazio’s fiend and the School opting to build over it. But regardless- it was the same room, a place that smelled of blood, sweat, and pine-sol. Something had to be used to keep the wooden floors in such great condition. The room was also empty, save a few wall scrolls and an artfully created bonsai tree. Alexandria walled along the wall as she swiftly slid off the light jacket she wore. It wouldn’t be needed here. She approached the middle of the floor, her right hand resting on Avarice’s hilt. Looking back towards Victor she asked,
      “Any rules I should keep in mind before we begin?” Her voice implied once more that she would win but her olive eyes sparkled with interest for the coming moments, a smirk crossing her pink lips as she awaited his answer.

      OOC: I’m sorry this took so long. Last few hours have been rather dramatic for me LOL. Computer stuff sometimes makes no sense.. ; . ;

Victor nodded at Alexandria as she accepted his offer. He felt that she had better accepted if she cared anything about the idea of honor. He then chuckled at he claim that she would have won their bout had they gone through with it. “You know, I might have been a gentleman then, before I knew you. Now, I'm not so sure.” Victor joked as if implying that he had gotten to know her as someone not worthy of chivalry. She flashed that smile of hers, a trademark she carried. Victor watched her as she began to lead the way to the dojo, he always liked her in the lead. He followed her through a set of doors and into the wooden floored dojo, adorned in japanese methods. There were wall scrolls on the wall that said things like 'discipline' and 'strength'. It had surprised Victor the time he visited right after it's destruction by how the Academy had made no extra effort to upgrade the worn dojo and simply returned it to it's former state. One would have thought that with a Fighter Headmaster that the room would have received a bit more love. Victor watched Alexandria remove her coat, revealing her smaller figure from her shoulders to her waist. She took her place at the center of the floor, knowing the distance from the middle zone. Victor grinned and rolled up the sleeves to his violet shirt, listening to Alex ask about rules. “Yeah, how about we sweeten the match with a little wager? The loser has to make the winner, lunch-” Victor said, his grin playful as ever. “-every school day.” Victor proposed. He didn't know jack about cooking but he was confidant he was going to win. Crossing his arms, he awaited an answer from the lady.

OOC: Hehehe, atleast your posts don't get deleted by a random browser crash.

      Alexandria watched as Victor made the way to the white line that was marked on the wooden surface between them. He began to roll up his sleeves as he began to talk… A wager. “I’m listening.” She replied, observing his facial expressions intently- ‘What sort of wager are you proposing?’ Alexandria thought to herself. It wasn’t long before she had her answer.. Lunch. The fighter gave a moment of silence, a devilish grin on his face. The sort of look that only meant trouble- and soon he concluded the thought. It wasn’t just making lunch once.. But instead every school day. That indeed was a steep wager, one that could be rather humiliating.

      A coy smile crossed her pink lips,
      “What makes you think I’ll lose…?” Alexandria questioned, her voice sounded almost a little sad he doubted her. She turned away from him and began to walk a short distance from the white line. Her hand slowly gathering a firm hold onto the leather-bound hilt of her rapier. A sign she didn’t intend to give up the fight or back down from the wager. Unknown to him, an evil grin crossed her face as she took a brief moment to prepare, barely noticeable tension created between her leather boots and the ground below her.

      The young doctor’s next move may not have been so surprising if her opponent had been watching the small ques given.
      “I’ll accept this wager!” Alexandria said almost simultaneously while rapidly unsheathing her weapon as she gracefully pushed away from the ground below her, propelling herself into the air. She expected the fighter to move, to recognize her subtle movements, but regardless a blind sweep of the long edge of Avarice would force him to move out. Or risk a thin cut to his abdomen.

      OOC: Oh. I hate when that happens… And I guess that’s true, I haven’t had that problem so much as my net deciding that it doesn’t need its usual gateways… And thus doesn’t work :B
      LOL this wager. Can only be made better if the loser has to wear some ridiculous outfit while making lunch.

Victor grinned as he watched Alexandria's reaction to his proposal. He noticed that she hadn't taken her hand from her sword since she found her place on the floor. She smiled and caught on to his confident attitude from which the wager stemmed from. Alex asked him what made him think that she would lose. That had made Victor wonder a long while ago but of he had to come up with a reason, it would be that she had less of an offensive repertoire than he even if she carried a weapon with her and he did not. She began to turn and step away as she spoke, a hint at deception but Victor stood unmoving, watching her, looking for the last step she would take in her fake retreat. Then, like a coiled python, she turned and pounced at him, sword drawn. The blade, slid from it's sheath and swung at him at his midsection. At the first twitch of motion, when she began to spin in order to leap, Victor brought out his hands in preparation but when he saw her blade coming at him, he leaned backwards and shot out a right side kick that met her narrow edged blade. It bent against his shoe from the force applied but when it had ceased it's motion, Victor retracted his leg but didn't place it on the ground. He quickly hopped forward on his grounded leg and led with his prepared, raised leg. With the distance between them less now, she was close enough for a quick three kick combo that consisted of front kick up at her hand, intended to disarm her, and two side kicks to her mid to low torso. He was wary to be quick but not too heavy, mindful not to break anything.

OOC: I thought about it but didn't want to be too crude..

      She could feel the pressure radiate from the blade’s long edge colliding with the rubber on the boy’s shoe. It wasn’t enough to stop her forward motion as she landed gracefully on the wooden floor. Instead it was just enough to keep her from being able to continue the horizontal attack. Alexandria hopped backwards a small distance, to create some breathing room. The distance between the two was rather short now, short enough were she was forced to intently watch the fighter’s movements. A single hit could be devastating, she had a rather thin frame that wouldn’t withstand the force he was capable of well. But something made her doubt he would be striking with all his force- that’d land her in the school clinic for a few days rather than forced to make him lunch… supposing he was able to land a hit.

      She almost lazily flicked the long blade in random directions to serve as a small distraction. A small smirk crossed Alexandria’s lips as she watched as observed his stance; he stood on one foot- suggesting he would likely go for another blow. The young doctor watched the boy’s movements intently- noticing the small notions that began to foretell his next moves. A small hop forward to close the short distance she had created prior- the boy’s raised leg kicking out towards her right hand. An obvious move to send Avarice flying across the room- something that’d quickly make her the loser.

      The young doctor quickly dove towards the boy’s side, her palms finding the ground below her as a method to reduce some of the momentum as she came into a forward roll. Only an exhale of air accompanied by a light thud as her back landed against the wooden ground would key him in towards her exact location. The move effectively placed three fourths of the way behind the boy. Giving the doctor a brief moment to counter attack the string of kicks that Victor attempted. Her response was a swift and forceful lunge towards the fighter’s grounded leg. Avarice’s long blade would make contact with the back of the boy’s calf if he failed to respond accordingly.

Victor was quick and intended on quickly ending their match but to his surprise, Alexandria was quicker. She had dove just out of the way of his combination just as he had closed in. He followed her motion, turning his head with her roll and found that she had placed herself advantageously for a counter attack. Instead of placing his raised right leg down, he pivoted on his left foot, spinning clockwise and stomped downwards with that raised right. It looked alike a ballroom display of ballet with a strong finish, minus the frilly skirt. His right foot came down on the thin blade, jamming it to the ground and beneath his foot. His eyes then looked into Alexandria's as his grin reemerged. “Check.” He said as he took a step onto the blade with his left foot, not removing his right. Then, Victor took another step closer to the hilt. The blade began to bend under his weight, surely creating a considerable tension in Alexandria's grip. Victor then raised his left leg over his head and brought down an axe kick on the guard around Alexandria's hand which could have adverse effects. If she didn't abandon the blade, it could damage her wrist or simply disarm her. Either way, he figured she had lost her weapon since the one-hundred and seventy-eight pound male was too heavy for her to lift off her blade much less block his kick with a single arm.

OOC: Oh, but that's where good roleplay-manship comes through. I've never seen a battle rage for more than ten posts...

      Alexandria felt her arm pulled near the ground as the fighter’s foot made contact with the blade dragging it towards the ground. He began to slide his foot along its length. The pressure made it impossible to keep a solid grip and forced her to release the leather bound hilt. It probably spelled her defeat but, in truth, she was too stubborn to admit it.

      Alexandria dove back away from Victor in another show of her acrobatic skill- a number of backward flips before landing in a crouch. The look on her face was unusually stern and her olive eyes showed the same stubbornness she felt. She rested her finger tips along the wooden floor as her feet dug in below her. However, Alexandria half expecting Victor to try and force his victory through words- which was something he could easily argue as he still stood on Avarice’s thin blade.

Victor saw Alexandria roll backwards, evading his axe kick which could have hurt her. The sword hit the ground underneath his foot, making a racket in the dojo for a second. Alexandria had made good distance between them through a series of back hand springs and back flips before landing in a crouch. She didn't stand up and the look on her face told him that she wasn't pleased. Victor wouldn't be very happy either after being disarmed that way. His smirk lessened and a slight smile faded in. He looked down at the sword and picked it up from the floor. It was swung right then left before being brought up to the face for a close inspection. Victor noticed it's finely detailed guard and the sharpness of the blade. “Come on, stop taking it easy on me.” He said, his eyes shifting from the blade to Alexandria ahead of him. He then whipped the sword down and to the right, jamming the tip of it between the floor boards. It wobbled from being pinned to the floor but soon stopped as the momentum disappeared. Victor stood up straight, putting his feet together and his fists at his waists before waving his arms slowly in a circular motion, one behind him and one in front of him before they converged at the right side of his waist. At the same time, his feet had separated and bent so that his left was closer to Alexandria than his right. His hands looked like they were holding a snow globe away from Alexandria and his crouched posture suggested a balanced approach. Victor then closed his eyes, feeling the Qi move within him and swirl around his abdomen. Breathing calmly but precisely, he began to channel the energy to his hands and out of them. The energy began to gather in his cupped hands and started to glimmer. “Do I have to turn up the heat?” Victor said with a slight grin as the Qi in his hands grew. An orange hue shone from the spaces between his hands, creating shadows on the walls. A small hiss began to sound from within his hands. He knew he was slightly vulnerable in that state but with enough distance between them, he had a bit of time in case she charged him. All he needed was a bit of time in order to power up his attack of non-lethal proportions. He contemplated giving her the sword back but he wanted to see if she could hold her own without it. One could never know when one's equipment or weapons might be removed from him and resourcefulness had to come into play. Putting one's chips all on one color spelled out trouble.

      Her olive eyes watched as her companion and rival swung her rapier around as if it were a toy. It was painful to watch the ignorance in each swing- but he did stop only briefly to take in the more artful elements of its design. Although, the brief moment of appreciation only to come to an end by attempting to jam the thin blade between the floor boards. The movement caused the long edge of the blade to vibrate with the momentum from the final swing before being condemned like Excalibur.

      The young knight watched as the fighter taunted her, too easy he said- yet now she lacked an offensive option. Other than a form of combat of a more risky nature- especially against someone who excelled at hand to hand combat. Regardless, She would still be able to utilize qigong combat, a variant- one that would allow her to absorb Victor’s qi in large quantities through minor touches if he gave her the opportunity. Even a single tap with her open palm could drain the fighter of a fair portion of qi.

      However, she wasn’t the only one thinking about utilizing qigong combat. Victor had begun to straighten his body, putting his hands at the level of his naval as if he were holding a small ball. His knee’s bent out, the left knee facing her. He began to pull his cupped hands back- but it didn’t hide or obscure the orange glow of his qi. He began his tough talk about turning it up the heat, the young doctor only laughed. She pulled herself up from the ground, her stance was rather relaxed. The girl’s face looking down towards the ground, her arms hung lazily, and her palms began a faint glow. A warning to the boy that wasn’t the only one who knew something about qi manipulation. Her feet held a solid stance, a basic mountain pose. Or at least that’s how she knew it as. In simplicity the pose was just as its name implied- a solid stance where one’s feet distanced about shoulder width apart.

      Alexandria looked up towards her rival as the visible white glow of her qi became barely noticeable. Yet, a fatal mistake if he were to believe the threat hadn’t been real.
      “Throw some gas on the fire while you’re at it… Won’t mean a thing if you can’t catch me.” The girl teased, a devilish grin on her face and her olive eyes watching intently. She waited patiently to see how he would move. It was pretty clear he would charge towards her. But could he even catch her? Could he land a hit before she was able to utilize her acrobatic skill to move past him and retrieve her blade once more? Alexandria waited patiently, if he gave an opportunity to strike- she’d take it.

Victor smirked at Alexandria's words. It appeared that she thought he would approach her again. He eventually would close the distance but at the moment, he had something else prepared. Victor watched her stand up from her crouched position and take a stance. It wasn't a fighting stance but one of focus. He could feel her Qi signature fluctuate and pool at her hands. Alexandria's familiar white Qi flowed through her and Victor could sense it, especially this close by. He remembered that she was a Doctor and that they had a good grasp on the body's internal Qigong network. It would be devastating to have his body cut into by such a competent person but Victor knew how to deal with blades. The fire like Qi that had gathered in Victor's palms began to pulse, as it swirled in the confines of his hands. Suddenly, Victor closed his eyes and attempted to close his hands together. After a second, the ball of energy was crushed and disappeared within Victor's hands. Then, a strange orange glow came from behind Victor's eyelids until he opened his eyes, instantly firing a fire-like energy beam from each eye only the width of his pupils. The energy came right at Alexandria, aimed at her center, making it the best target considering it was easier to hit. The best part was that Victor was an expert at channeling that energy and making it bend to his will, this time literally. If she were to see it coming and evade, the beam would follow her as surely as his eyes followed her whenever she appeared. The effect would be like that of a flying kick from a running start. Although she wouldn't be thrown back, the blow would be felt well within her body and possibly knock her unconscious. It was an ideal way to remove someone from battle without shedding blood or breaking a bone although it wasn't Victor's usual ideal path, this time being an exception.

OOC: Got it. Thanks for the head-up.

      The fighter’s next moves however weren’t something she had expected. A beam of qi had formed from his hands- aimed towards her mid torso. The girl dove to her right, landing on her hands before rolling back to her feet. From the corner of her eye she could see beam of orange light chase her. She could only speculate he was able to direct it from where he stood with minimal movement. But even so, she had a small advantage of distance between her and the beam of qi. Alexandria continued to dash forward to find a spot that angled behind him. She could see her blade still stood up like some valiant sword- it also happened to be on her path towards the fighter.

      Alexandria turned abruptly, putting pressure onto the side of her right foot- to help turn her speed into momentum as she flew towards the boys back side in a short series of front flips. The doctor landed soundly, her right hand pulling free her blade from its wooden prison. As her hand gripped the warm leather wrapped hilt the blade began to glow unnaturally- a strange white sheen. It wasn’t unlike the light pulse of qi that had emitted from her hands previously.

      The doctor side stepped what she expected to be a rapid turn into a punch or kick from her rival in front of her- holding Avarice firm as she moved the slender blade horizontally. To those versed with knowledge of fancy footwork and swordsmanship it was plainly a simple parry. A defensive move used to attempt to open up the foe to an offensive attack.

      OOC: Indirect touch with her blade would absorb 500 qi.

Fighter || Aria || Exorcist || Exwire

Victor watched Alexandria display a wonderful speed, evading his wave and even clever enough to turn in an angle sharp enough to avoid the homing effect of the wave. As it missed her and crashed into the wall behind her, Victor was quick to look over his shoulder just in time to see her flip over him and land in front of him. By the time she landed, Victor extended his right fist in a straight jab which was parried with the side of the blade. He felt a sudden drain in him, as if the kick had tired him some. Victor then turned his hand and opened his fist, he pushed towards Alexandria, taking hold of the forearm of the arm that held her weapon. He then performed a side flip, alike a cartwheel but with no hands. The momentum gained would carry on until he would land but Alex's arm would twist and pull the rest of her body causing her to flip over and into the ground. Victor would waste no time and throw a punch toward his grounded opponent but would stop just before reaching her, not looking to finish her if she had indeed fallen for him.

Alexandria Elaine Ferdinand

Doctor || Knight || Exwire

      Her opponent lunged forward, his hand gripping her right forearm. His grip was strong and she wasn’t going to be able to weasel out of it. The young doctor had to make a split second decision- to either keep ahold of her blade regardless how it would seem useless if he maintained his hold on her arm or to drop it and opt for another counter attack. In truth neither option was great, but a decision had to be made.

      The youthful Austrian girl let her rapier drop from her hand as Victor began to pull her off the ground. Her rapier falling to the ground below as she began finding her own grip along her assailant’s forearm, her palm pressed against his skin with a firm grip a faded white glow could be seen from her palm. The boy’s qi being absorbed through her palm as he twisted her body like a rag doll with his movements. She had no orientation for the speed of the maneuver until she could feel her back collide with the floor below- losing her grip along his arm. Alexandria pulled her left arm up from her side to in front of her chest to absorb some of the incoming impact. Victor had made swift motion to send a punch into her gut but he stopped just short. Her left arm fell back to her side as a faint smile crossed her lips,
      “Not sure we have a true victor… You aren’t looking so high and mighty.” Alexandria mused.
