Kurogane sat up and smiled at her but then frowned. "I... wait. You're okay with me as a demon? I don't know whether to call you crazy or gutsy." Though her words did calm him, it didn't change the fact that Kuro was still nervous about one thing. He wasn't sure how any one of them would take it. He watched her laugh on. '...There is no way it would happen...' His ears flattened on his head; he lifted his nose to the sky and howled. It was somewhat sweet but had a sad euphoric sound to it.

Stormy made an unladylike snort and said "I was there Shadow and I saw the look on your face you looked like you were going to wet yourself." Stormy turned to Kurogane and said "As for being okay with you being a demon I am not crazy you forgot that I am 1/4 demon myself that's were I get my ability to put up barriers and heal others, you see my mother bred with my father who was the offspring of a demon goddess hybrid that's as far as I know of my family tree whenever I asked of my grandparent from my fathers side I was several punished." She looked Kurogane and noticed the look on his face and said "are you ok?, did what I said freak you out?" Stormy tried to makes a joke out of the situation and said "I know I have a pretty screwed up family tree."

Kurogane stopped howling to hear her words then continued. It began to change into a sad song of sorts. A continuous sound that echoed through the trees.

Stormy cocked her head to the side and asked "Why the sad song, are you ok?"

He stopped abruptly and turned his head to her. "We live in to totally different times." He was hoping for something different than this truth. He knew that there was going to be something that stopped him from finding a companion or even something more...

Stormy looked at him with a confused look on her face and said "what do you mean, what is wrong I know there is something you are not telling me but I won't pressure I hope you will tell me in your on time but know this I don't mind that you are a demon and what ever you are holding back wont make me think of you any differently."

'I'm worried about your safety...' was all he could think. He brushed off his sadness not knowing where the emotions came from and when back to his old self. "You shouldn't run off like that. Not without knowing how to defend yourself properly." He circled her like predator but with no intend on harming her.

Stormy caught on to what Kurogane was doing and positioned herself in defense mode with her tail wagging happily and said " I know how to defend myself properly I can put up barriers that can block physical and mental attacks, the bear just caught me off guard my mind was busy with other things is all." Stormy watched Kurogane carefully waiting for him to make the first move.

Kurogane smirked. "That may be so but what if something got into your barrier?" He disappeared. Only his voice was heard. "Can you protect yourself from what you can not see?"

Stormy confidently replied "as I said as long as my barrier is up I am safe." Stormy carefully gazed around at her surroundings looking for Kurogane. The year she spend alone after leaving her pack has made her cautious and able to see things that normally would be hidden to untrained eyes after closely looking around she found where Kurogane was and pounced on him pinning him to the ground and said "got you and as you can see I can handle myself when I put my mind to it."

Kurogane was impressed. He was a bit surprised that she spotted him. He licked her muzzle. He wanted to see her reaction to it.

Stormy thought she had the upper hand when she had Kurogane pinned but when he licked her muzzle she wasn't expecting that she fell back onto her haunches and blushed a deep crimson and thought "I hope my fur is hiding my blush, I wonder if he did that to get the advantage or if he liked her he was so confusing I wish he would just say if he likes me or not." Stormy broke away from her thoughts and glanced at Kurogane to see him staring her and she stuttered and said "what was that for?"

Kurogane sat up and snickered. Her face was priceless. He circled her again but got closer and closer until he sat in front of her. "I like you," was all he could think to say. The wind blew through his fur as an awkward silence flew between them.
