WATER GUN RACE

And no hard feelings were had. Excellent. Darts behind them they found a nice walk over to the... splash festival. There were, in fact, quite a few puddles around the area. Huh. He hadn't full realized they'd been walking hand in hand until she slipped her hand away to take a turn at the rather simplistic game. Along with a challenge that came with it. He had actually been more distracted with glancing at his hand, then back at her as she had turned to play the game. Sometimes distractions were good so she hadn't noticed the slight bit of color that had creeped to his cheeks briefly before he grinned a bit at the idea of a challenge.

Obviously, he had to redeem himself a bit. So with that he took up his spot at the other clowns face and quickly shot at the thing, seeming to do just as well as she had.

His aim wasn't that bad... even if he wasn't used to any kind of weaponry. "I won't go easy on you though." He stated simply, though in truth he might. Maybe.

DUCK POND

Bastion stopped in front of the duck pond, and bent in to give them a good look. "What a clever little set up." He mused to himself, before attempting to give it a shot. "I do hope I can win something for you. I would be a poor excuse for a date if I did not manage at least this much. So we simply.." His hand reached in to try and pick up the bitey little duck nearest to him.

His hands nimbly held it by its neck, shaking the ribbon off of it and reading the appropriate win. "Aha, excellent." Clearly he was the master of.. duck.. picking..

DUCK POND

Sophie reached into the duck pond and spied a duck that seemed a little less likely to bite her than the others dig. She managed to pick it up successfully and untie the ribbon which revealed she had won a prize. She asked for the brown inflatable bat and exchange the ribbon and the duck for it before handing it to Bastion.

"Here," she said, a little sheepishly. "I won it for you."

Maple had heard the declaration, or at least the very vague pronoun use, and hadn't expected it to be directed at her. But it was, and before she knew it there was an arm hooked into her own. Grabbed and pulled, assaulted in a way and all the little witch could do was exclaim a little "Aa!" and basically just submit.

The other ghoul was strong. And looked familiar, when she finally managed to look at her now scarlingnapper. Be it she had seen her before or there was a resemblance, she wasn't sure. "One g-game?" She stuttered out, looking to where they were now at. "W-will you b-be okay?" Because she knew how Andrew was around fire, and this other ghoul was clearly a fire demon as he was.

"Probably not!" Danny chirped happily, looping arms with the small witch and dragging her towards the game. Sure she might dissipate, but prizes. Prizes and tickets. She needed to win all the things.

Picking up the gun, she fiddled with the trigger and cringed as water poured out the other end. Ohhh she didn't like this at all. No no no.

BUT PRIZES.

She aimed her gun at the mouth and did her damnedest. "I'm gonna kick your butt!"

"Ughhh why can't they shoot lava!" Danny whined. "Carnivals back home had flamethrower games!!"

So what if she was a big fire scareling.

"D-Doesn't mean I'm gonna lose though!!"

Bastion took the bat, but then he stared at it, and turned to look at her in confusion.

"You're.. giving me this?" He whispered, bending in to put himself eye to eye with her. "Sophie, I am confused. I thought I was supposed to be the one that was going to win you things." He looked extremely lost. Was it not his position as her escort, to make sure she left with as many presents as possible? Giving him one seemed out of place with what he'd expected.
