Leo was really kind of confused. The lady who'd appeared and her cryptic words struck no recognition from her; and she still had no idea who the students that'd gotten kidnapped even were. Probably, she should've taken the time to ask someone but, well, bit too late for that now. Should she just go with the flow? This Head Priestess, whoever she was, seemed like she was quite serious in detailing how dangerous this venture would be - but on the other hand Leo trusted Alex, and he'd said he needed help with this. Chickening out now just wouldn't be right. He was the very first friend she'd made in Amityville, he'd singlehandedly helped her raise her test scores and he needed her help.

There was really no question. She nodded to the priestess person with her best serious face on and made her way through the ring of fire to join the others from Alex's group. She wouldn't be the one to abandon a friend in need, no sir.

Halloween was a whole lot larger to the tatzel now than it had been just a couple of years back. Large compared to where she'd lived... and what she'd known.

What Levi knew now was both critical and crippling at the same time. There were invasions into their home by something she, nor the horsemen, could fight back against. The very lands those warriors had lived on crumbled by the interference of just a few humans with weaponry made of their kin.

It was just seething frustration with this inability to change her position- no, all of their positions, that really made her want to break down back then. West had seen it; the Levi that knew no fight. If there wasn't even a chance for opposition, it wasn't a fight- it was a slaughter. That was all the students had experienced up until now when encountering the humans like this. Being trapped, being tortured, being mocked and being used as weapons against their families and friends were just some of the things causing the tatzel's teeth to grind together right now. They were going to face dissipation again. Dissipation, however, was not her worry. Looking up at West helped to keep her focused on her anger; to channel it.

What West could do that no other could was cause Levi to shift despair and defeat to anger and spite. If this transition was good for anything, it was at least putting her waisted FEAR into use again with a determination to keep going through with the "fight." Levi would see Xiu captured... she would see Demi claw at the human who netted her... she would see West dissipate through a blue flame she couldn't break through in time.

This was a fate more possible than victory by any measure at this point. The odds were just always against them. What hope was left was that dent in a perfect plan. That small unanticipated move that would allow them some show of actual fight. That they would, if not in their own time, find a way through the invisible wall that barred them inside the fear of these hunters themselves. To fear their defeat, their losses, their weaknesses was to fear the hunters themselves. This too was what made Levi angry and kept her going. Akithor, her Amity counterpart from the trance, hadn't made through...

was it really their time?

Levi moved to enter the flame as well. She hoped Demi wouldn't follow.

Well... this was just lovely... seems these Horsemen were popping up all over the place since they got here, and Imryn still couldn't help the unease that coiled through her stomach at seeing Medea there. Especially Medea. Whenever she'd listened to the Horsewoman speak in the past, she got the distinct feeling that she knew way more than she was letting on. Sadly it wasn't as if any of them knew what it was or even had a idea of the secrets that could be going on and usually seemed like they were just walking blindly into things.

Glancing around the room, Imryn watched as one by one others moved into the circle of flames, her tail started to twitch again. Horsemen and Hunters in one go? Under any other circumstances, she would have said thanks but no thanks and offered support from afar. But other students were out there somewhere and needed help... and the Death trial still haunted her dreams at times, remembering what they had showed her in those places. No one deserved to be in there and go through that, so if she could help rescue any of them, she would. Besides, it seemed that quite a few of them had friends missing and losing your head in this type of situation could mean death. For once not having many friends seemed like a blessing.

"Don't think you're going to get to leave me here. If nothing else, I'll just glare menacingly over your shoulder or something." she said to Mitzi while entering te circle with the others. "Sneaking around is more my thing, but hey, maybe I won't be so bad in battle this time around."

From somewhere behind Roch, a hand tapped down on the boil's shoulder as Ren stepped over the flame and into the area where the rest of the students were, slipping past his friend. He didn't say anything to him, since it looked as though Roch were busy with Danny, but he gave him a small nod anyway before going to find Vaith.

"Hey, man."

"Roch!" Danny shouted, hitting him a bit harder on the chest. "Stupid I meant ... I dunno take care of him and stuff!" She put a finger on Roch's chest and squinted at him. "Don't even think about it mister. He's mine!"

This was much easier than facing hunters and saving the world. Making jokes was keeping her calm. Danny noticed Ren behind Roch and smiled. She didn't know the gryphon that well, but it was always nice to see him! Even if there circumstances weren't ...

"Well Amphi likes me better, so she'll probably want to be carried by me," she said, sticking out her tongue. It was a complete lie, but if it go Roch riled up, so be it.

Ren lifted a brow, catching the tail end of the conversation.

"Amphi's your ghoulfriend?" he asked, amused in spite of himself, and smiled a little, his tail flicking out to curl around his leg. He put a hand on Roch's shoulder and patted, one ear twisting forward. "Congrats on that, she's a lovely ghoul."

His brows drew together, Ren clicking his teeth together almost ferally as he added, with a hard smirk, "And we'll get her back from those Jacking bastards."

Looked like Riyo had arrived just in time for a long-winded speech. Words? Words didn't matter right now. Mitsu was gone. She needed help.

There were some things the feline didn't dare interfere with. Times when people would reap the results of their own bad decisions. This was certainly not one of those times.

If being captured by a hunter was anything like the trials they had experienced way back when, Riyo feared for Mitsu. Her heart ached to think that such a kind and accepting creature could be trapped in such conditions. That... She might be... Might turn into...

No. There would be none of that. No turning back? Fine. There was no turning back then.

Looking towards the ring of fire, she saw the silhouette of a familiar reaper and her valkyrie friend walking through. The ghoul's hand balled into a painfully tight fist. Had Shun been there? Had he really failed to protect her? After all that s**t Riyo had to take from him about love. Obviously she didn't know the whole story if any at all. That, however, would not stop her from finding new reasons to despise Shun. The hate and anger she felt for the boil filled the demoness completely, but she would say nothing. There would be time for that when Mitsu was safe.

Quickly making her way forward, the ghoul stepped through the fire without flinching, throwing up the hood of her cat jacket like a badass. She had taken care of her problems. Now it was time to deal with the problems of others.
