Della layed her head down and frowned. There was so many things she'd forgotten how to do; one skill she never actually acquired was cooking. The only reason her food came out decent was because she followed directions to a tee. "I..can't really make anything. I mean I could always search for a recipe for something online." She then smiled as a sly thought crossed her mind. "Or...Since you asked, you should make us something. Anything is fine with me."

Damien grinned when she said she couldn't cook anything. He ran a hand through his hair tiredly when she mentioned that he could make them both something. "I'm not much of a cook, but I've tried eggs and things a couple of times. It's quite easy. Should I teach you, Dell?" He stared at her perfect, beautiful face and waited.

Della couldn't help but smile back at Damien. Even in his human form, he was still...perfect. Well, perfect for her anyway. She sat up, shifting to sit on the couch instead of on him. "Okay. But...give me a minute to get ready first?" She smiled and touched his face and then stood, dragging one of the covers with her. She walked upstairs and rumaged through her clothes, trying to find something to wear.

Damien was disappointed when she moved and brought the covers with her to go upstairs. He stood up and looked for his own clothes, pulling his jeans back on quickly. He left his shirt off, deciding it was too hot in the house anyway. He waited for her in the kitchen to come down, finding the right equipment; the pan, the bacon, and the eggs. He frowned, not being able to find the spatula. He would wait for her to come down and ask her where it was.

Della reappeared wearing and long-sleeved gown like thing. It was white, but without Della's angelic glow, it just looked like she was bumming it today. She ran her hand through her hair and yawned, noticing Damien in the kitchen. She went over and wrapped her arms around his waist, leaning on him. She yawned again and smiled. "Ready to teach me?"

Damien was speechless for a moment once she came back in the room, and he smiled when she wrapped her arms around him and leaned against him. "You know, you looked much better before, but you look gorgeous even now," He said huskily, turning around quickly and gently pressing his body against hers, kissing her on the mouth. "Yes, my Della. As long as you are ready to learn." He winked at her and frowned, remembering the spatula. "I was wondering if you had a spatula; that is one of the things we need for eggs."

Della smiled as her face took on a pink tint. "Thank you...I mean, I don't have my aura, so it's nice to know you still think I'm beautiful." she teased. "I suppose I'm going to have to. As for spatulas...." She reached over and opened a drawer that was coordinated by utensils. She grabbed a spatula that was neatly stacked in the drawer out. "Here you are." she said handing him the item. "So...what do we do first?" She could feel her stomach fighting the urge to growl again. Humans are very hungry creatures. she thought. Usually she'd make some tea and be set for the rest of the day. Eating had been a rarity for her; she assumed Damien might have been the same way. He only had to suck peoples' souls. He did seem to be adjusting to this human thing quite easily though.

Damien grinned when she blushed, rolling his eyes when she mentioned that she didn't have any aura. "It doesn't matter if you do or don't, you are gorgeous either way. You would be beautiful even with bedhead, like you do now." He tried to keep himself from laughing at his statement, and quickly moved on so she wouldn't smack him or anything. He felt like a moron when she reached in a drawer and found the spatula right off. He took it in his hand and went over to the stove, turning it onto medium low. "First, you need to put the pan on the stove and turn it on to this. Later on you can turn it down, once it warms up." He glanced back at her. "Paying attention, little Della?" He teased, because she seemed to be thinking about something.

Della looked up, startled from her thoughts. "Y-yes." She watched Damien work; he had really done this before. She didn't peg him as the type to cook, or need to cook anyway. She took mental notes; how high the stove was, exactly how he placed the pan. She probably looked very studious but she always paid attention to every detail.

Damien sighed, not really convinced, but not wanting to push her. If she said she was, then he trusted her. He continued on with cracking the egg perfectly and peppering it slightly, just enough to give it flavor as it cooked. He eventually flipped it over, and when it was done, he put it on a plate carefully, giving it to her. "I want you to try the bacon on your own. Do you think you can do that? It's just like cooking an egg, you just have to flip them over every so often, and know when it's done." He raised his eyebrows, spatula in his hand as he directed it through the air.

"Oh...uh...okay then." Della took the spatula and grabbed out another pan. She turned it on medium low like Damien said to and then set four slices of bacon in it. It began to sear and after a couple minutes on one side, she flipped the slices over. When she deemed them to be done, she slid them on a plate which she held in front of Damien's face. "Okay?"

Damien grinned, proud of what she had done just as a teacher would be of their favorite student getting an A. "Congratulations, Della! You have made bacon perfectly," He said loudly, closing his eyes as he danced around the kitchen. He opened them and swept across the kitchen, gently pulling on her arm and dancing her around the kitchen swiftly. "You have made a cook proud." He chuckled and pulled her into his arms, twirling her in a spin.

Della smiled happily. "Well I had a great teacher. Who isn't that bad to look at either." She ruffled Damien's hair and leaned on the counter. She grabbed a slice of the bacon she had made and took a bite of it; it was delish. She raised her hands triumphantly. "Yes. I can cook!"

Damien blushed at her compliment. "And if you were my student, I would definitely have a creepy crush on you." He laughed, and smiled when she ruffled his hair. He tilted his head as she took a bite, waiting to see what she would say. He chuckled when she put her hands in the air and said that she could cook. "Anyone can cook." He said. "Even someone with a bad bedhead," He teased her, smiling hugely.

Della scarfed down the slice of bacon she'd been holding. She then had a fake shocked look on her face which was meant for Damien's comment about her hair. "Is it really that bad? Nooooooo! What ever will I do? Don't look at me, I'm hidious." She laughed and hid behind the counter as if to shield herself from his eyes. She hadn't remembered being human could be this freeing. Sure, it hadn't always been about seriousness in heaven, but angels did have a job to do, and that job usually took priority over everything else.
