"My being this way isn't natural like you just confirmed yours is. My human form, dog, and cat forms were all once completely seperate things." Vero's face aged a bit as she spoke, but not too much.

To say the least, Vivian was slightly startled by Vero's sudden aging. "How was it not natural? That's just plan freakish!" She was stumped, not meaning to sound mean, no matter how rude it came out.

"The human form I am in now was once a young girl, the daughter of a mad scientist, or wizard; in all these years I've never been able to decide which. The animal forms were pets of his. He made them all matching collars to show his ownership over them. I don't remember if our bodies came together in an expirement or as an accident. Either way..." Vero sighed, she hated recalling her age.

Trying to lighten the air slightly, Vivian joked, "so, really, you're just an old lady, aren't cha, Vero? That explains why ya couldn't catch that toss!" Grinning to show she was joking, she sighed softly, hating the sudden depressing wave in the room.

Sighing, Vivian lowered her head. She didn't know what the girl meant by what she could do for her life, but she figured that asking wouldn't really help much and only leave her more confused.

"Well in anycase, what do you want to do? I'm free everyday from now until the end of creation." Vero stretched out on the couch and let her cat ears pop out and her dog tail wag. She smiled and stared at Vivian.

"I don't really know. We already finished all of our business at the lake, so I don't have any more plans..." Vivian laughed slightly at the odd combination of cat, dog, and human all at once, trying to cover it.
