Rosky shrugged and grimaced, looking colder than the boys had ever seen him. "I just... this damn Wasteland. Can't leave any possession behind without some Muties or Ghouls or some other menace wanting to steal your s**t."

That's why we carry big a** guns to shoot them away." Owen laughed as they kept walking towards their 'home'.

*Dutch looked around as if seeing the Wastes for the first time* You have to wonder, just what could have triggered this...

"The fallout from the war started it." Owen stated. "The brotherhood found old files going to the fighting from the nuclear weapons the nations launched. The whole war... didn't last longer than a day once it happened." He stated simply as they kept walking. "Its a damn shame, we were so far advanced and now look at us... back to the stone age with advanced tools."

I what could have motivated countries to completely wipe each other out? Not even the gas shortage seemed like an acceptable reason...

"There was nothing left, no where, anywhere... everyone had become hell bent on having the most giant missiles first. Thousands of years of progress... all gone in two hours.."

Rosky drew a slightly crushed cigarette from his back pocket and lit it with a match. "Damn people. Since the beginning of ******** time, we've found some reason to hate each other. I've done my fair share of studying the pre-war era and even a moron could've seen that America would go down the shitter one day." Rosky took another drag and held out two cigarettes towards the men. "Anyone want one?"

*Dutch took off his helmet, grabbed a cigarette, and took a long drag*

"Yeah what the hell, cancer is the least of our worries." He laughed as he removed his helmet and took a long drag as well.

Finally *Dutch looked over the horizon and saw Yorkshire*

"Home sweet hell." He laughed as he finished the cig and put back on his helmet. He kept walking towards their home as he saw that it looked okay.

*Dutch began walking towards the town* Maybe now I can go to bed

Rosky laughed. "Cancer sounds less painful than rad poisoning. And you don't have to worry about the possibility of becoming a Ghoul." Rosky smiled as he threw the butt of his cigarette down. "Ahh... We're back."
