@ Jolted, German and English are very similar. I think the hardest part would be the grammar.
<3 Thankies.

Why do you think I've got a hard time learning German while my English is pretty okay, if they're similar? To me, all the words in German are the same. I'm okay as long as I needn't translate anything from Finnish to German, but when I've got to, I'm no good at all... Yay, says the happy student that had to give up art because her parents insisted on her studying a third language...

German is very similar to English - they have the same root. Our languages are based off the same - Greek I think, instead of Latin.

Haha, guess if I'm proud or not, Finnish is such a far-out language! It's a Finno-Ugric language, while most of the European languages are Indo-European XDXD And the pronunciation is similar to Japanese<3

Wolf: Finnish people rock! (/high fives) I'm German raised in America. So - I speak English as my first language, German as my second and Spanish as my third.

Wheeeee! Wow, that's cool!! Sometimes I'm a little bored about my family. I'm just sooooo Finnish, only I might have some Russian blood, since my father's parents come from Karjala, the part of Finland that we lost to Russia in the Winter War (during the WW2) Oh, by the way, it seems to be 'Karelia' in English ^^'' And saying I might have Russian relatives makes me kinda annoyed. Although it was me who said it..

Don't you hate it whenever something itches and you rub it and it just itches more?

Raccoonwolf Yeah, In a way, the winter's better, but it's so damn cold... -20°C right now... Summer's my second favorite season after autumn... But there are mosquitoes... That's pretty cold. I like how warm it is here all the time. Some parts of America are pretty cold, but the winters are mild here.

On the other hand, it makes me kinda proud when other people think it's really cold here when it's just normal. But -20°C really is cold. Usually in the winter it's around -15°C... Then again, if I went to, for example, Greece, in summer, I might not be able to adjust to the heat... They say it's really hot there... Yesterday I made a campfire with my mom and my sister. My mom tried to make one first, but it was doomed to fail from the first moment. She put in too much kindling (is google translator tricking me?) and made the firewood just lean on it... XDXD Then I made a proper campfire and we warmed some meat pies. It was fun=3

I like it whenever it's about 100°F (About 40°C I think) here, and when people come to vist they start saying it's sooo~ hot. It usually makes me giggle. I don't think that I could be able to get use to the cold, though. The heat doesn't bother me that much, but I don't really like the cold. Or the snow. I really can't stand the snow. I'd take rain any day. I have a family member from Italy and he says that it's really pleasent there, the weather and all. I wouldn't mind visting there one day, but the airline tickets are really expensive. DX
