Kabaal looked calmly at Travis, "Your aura is dark young one, and your soul has been tainted by the shadows of a great evil, your power consumes you and the light of your soul is fading."
Reily crossed her arms, there was something malignant in Travis, she didn't need Kabaal's words to know that.
Terson growled slightly.

Reed hesitated. What in the... he couldn't imagine what Travis and Kali (neither of whom he could claim to know too terribly well) were thinking. Kabaal claimed they were dark. Could he be... wrong?
"I don't see any darkness." Reed couldn't 'sense' any, either. There was something to be said as to why the darkness inside of his own body did not jump in proximity to Travis, as everyone else's seemed to be doing.

Kabaal shook his head, "You accept power in any form, no matter the consequences or the power, or the means it takes to get them."
Reily folded her arms, she agreed with Kabaal, this power that Travis held was ill-fated.
Terson felt a strange tingling along his skin.

Although Reed wasn't quite sure what the popular opinion was, he knew they could just knock him out and run if what he had just decided was wrong.
A long, beautiful revolver, engraved with lines of chalcopyrite, making an almost illegible inscription, flashed briefly as it was pointed at Travis almost immediately. The gun was more artwork than a weapon. But it's anti-personnel rounds were very deadly.
"I dun' think you'll be enslaving me or my posse," Reed said conversationally. "You see," he continued to explain, "good always triumphs over evil. True love conquers all."
Reed was kind of... not making much sense right now, since no one was aware that he secretly loved Kasai, but that was unimportant. Love was there, even if you had no one to give it to.

Lines of glimmering silver slipped from the earth circling around Kabaal, "Slaves? You call yourself good and you threaten us with enslavement? You shall fall, as many have before you."
Terson roared and pulled off his lab coat, revealing his bare chest that quickly flared over with fur, Terson was the Beast once more.
Reily raised her palms, the dog heads on her shoulders opened their mouths and flames poured out of them, circling Reily's body and flaring around her body.

(( Wow. Already a fight starting? [Must check this place more often.] ))
The wind whipped around Kali, as she got ready to fight. She got her katana out and held it in front of her.
Kasai wasn't sure what to do. Kali and Travis were her friends. She didn't want to fight them. But they're evil now.

Reed back up slightly, to stand beside Kasai. "Don't hesitate," he told her softly. "When it starts, either pick a side or go. But don't stand here, a target, indecisive. You might think that you'd be doing your so-called friends a favor by snapping them out of this idiotic reverie."
Reed had a second revolver, this one less elegant and more practical, at the ready.

Now look at you, trying to destroy or enslave anyone that you do not accept." Kabaal's words were always calm, no matter if he was fighting or talking calmly.'
The Beast bounded up to Kasai's other side protectively, growling softly.
Reily narrowed her eyes at Kali.

(( @ Zylo: Hmm... You're right... It probably should've... *thinks of reason* Ah. The darkness in her soul is overpowering that little voice. 3nodding ))
Kasai listened to Reed, then nodded. In the last brawl, Travis and Kali had helped her when Oni repossessed her. So she'll help them this time. She drew out her sword.
Kali looked back at Reily. She felt the slightest guilt, but it was quickly pushed away to the back of her mind.
