Quote: Jillian nodded nervously, then broke eye contact. The boy waited for a moment, then withdrew his had, his smile fading to a neutral expression. Aside from that, didn't notice anything out of ordinary. I'm very much enjoying it all. I'll have a lot to review when I get back on Sunday. 3nodding

What Weston didn't consider: what if the guard was Fae-Fae? xp
Nice chapters. I certainly like the plot addition of Project Blue - wondering a little whether any of the class currently are results from that.
Hammond and Pryce are fun. 3nodding

Hehehe, Rowan seems like she might try and snap someone's neck to get the point across. ninja
I'm curious to see how you'll handle Ian's powers, since any kind of ability involving the manipulation of time tends to be a Pandora's box of problems. Not that I'd know anything about time abilities, mind you. *crams early SoR posts into a shredder*
Gendou's abilities also have me curious. I wonder if Gendou is really manipulating actual physical darkness, or some kind of extraplanar darkness, like Cloak from the Marvel universe.
Weston's gifts seem like he could alter the air in someone's lungs, turning it into pure nitrogen, or create a vacuum around one or several attackers.
Robin's powers seem like they could be put to several novel uses. Oxidizing a metal fence to the point of collapse comes to mind.
Another great chapter, Gendou, I'm looking forward to the next installment. 3nodding

And we learn more about the price that Pryce has had to pay. Ouch. I wonder how sane he can be? It's been seventy years since the introduction of alien DNA, and he'd obviously had some years on him before that, being a General's civilian assistant and all. Oh, and a son. sad
The third paragraph from Rowan's point of view => eek Sandra's power may be scary, but Doll's personality is scary in a different way. Like, potential versus realization.
The different ways that the students introduce themselves and their powers is great. One of those character-revealing things that you do so well.
Chrono Alpha? exclaim
Glower! Grr. I like the back-and-forth between Mr. Sokol and Ms. Garry. Lots of parry/riposte going on. I wonder what would happen if Gendou got in on the plannning? Not only for his immense intellect, but to redirect teh scaree professors anger away from my poor Aero Alpha. gonk
Hammond's supervising play-time now? With his power, he could start some of the kids on competetive trials. Probably not Michael or Matthew, given the more violent nature of their powers, but maybe the kinder-gentler students. Like, oh, Rene and Cal. twisted
If Fae-Fae was the guard, I'd obviously have Kevin switch back to his man-form. Fae would be so overcome by the man-in-a-dress that Kevin would have no trouble wrapping him in vegetation. Or rocks. Either or.

Anyone else get the vibe, that the story is leading itself, up to something really really bad happening?
((I'm totally proud of myself, I didn't use the corny "Amy-sense is tingling" joke))

Tangled Up In Blue Kyraa ... but dear lord, how could anyone handle not being able to sing? eek gonk Well, for those of us who sing perpetually off-key, fairly easily. You could try playing an instrument, but a wind instrument would probably just amplify your power (Jillian on a squeaky clarinet = gonk ). Piano, maybe?
