Gekido grunted and began to walk out as well, he wished to end this little meeting as soon as possible. The sooner he got this over with the better.

Kougushi looked to the west and began running towards the Valley of the End. He kept his pace relatively slow, so that his pathetic patient could pursue with little to no difficulty.

Gekido could tell that Kougushi was mocking him, and having been raised in Samurai fashion, ths affected his honor and pride deeply. He sped up and passed Kougushi quickly. He would not let Kougushi mock him in any way.

Kougushi couldn't help but smirk. "So now you choose to be honorable. You uchihas truly are unstable...and foolish." said Kougushi has kept to the rear. If his patient wanted to exhaust his body into destruction, then the least he could do is watch with pleasure. "Don't push yourself too hard. It will take more than beating a man such as I to a valley to restore your honor."

Gekido smirked. He replied simply,"Only the strongest will survive." And sped up.

"You know nothing of strength." said Kougushi in an oddly serious and soft voice. One of Kougushi's core and bizarre beliefs had been subtly challenged, but he would not dare explain it to the likes of an uchiha. They could never understand the true path to power. Their past mistakes had proven that to Kougushi.
As the two shinobi cleared through the forest, they found themselves at the beginning of the Valley of the End.

Gekido stopped when he reached the edge of the statue of his ancestor."Madara..." he whispered."You say I know nothing of strength or power. Perhaps one day I shall show you TRUE power."

"How can you demonstrate what you do not understand?" asked Kougushi, not expecting nor wanting an answer. Kougushi gazed at both memorials to once mighty shinobi, paying particularly close attention to Madara. "Can you feel it, Gekido?" asked Kougushi

He replied to the first question,"I could ask the same of you Kougushi." He felt a thrumming coming from the rock. It emanated nature's power. Every earth worm's movement was magnified 100 fold, and every blade of grass seemed to grow by the foot.
"Yes, I feel it. This place is full of the Chakra used by Madara and the First. Madara's statue is particularly full of it, as if this is the real man himself."

"You're not looking close enough." replied Kougushi, as he took a deep breath with his akahana. "Can you not sense the true spirit of your people here? This was the site of one of your clan's greatest failure, after all. Do you not feel a certain sense of... restlessness?"

"Wonders?" said Kougushi through a laugh. "Oh Gekido... you never cease to humor me." After laughing for but a second longer, Kougushi returned his attention back to the statue of Mandara. "I need you to calm yourself. If the seal of First Hokage is to be broken, I must channel energy from the spirit of his first opposer. Let the 'power' of your people," Kougushi was fighting hard to suppress another laugh, "flow through you, and allow me to channel it accordingly."

"Had you been born an Uchiha, you would know exactly what it is I speak of. Only and Uchiha knows everything about Madara."
Gekido calmed himself. Despite his complete lack of energy and total exhaustion, he felt strong here.

If only he knew.... thought Kougushi with a small grin. The war had been everything but kind to the Uchiha clan, and several units from several different villages had acquired countless pages of information about them. Although no single village had written a truly supreme analysis of the powers and weaknesses of the clan, Kougushi had gathered quite a bit of information in his travels. Knowledge was power...power that trumped anything a sharingan could produce.
Kougushi brought his attention back to the task at hand through a slight sigh of satisfaction. He took a slight whiff with his akahana, seeing just how cooperativE Gekido was being.
"Good... the spirit of your people has begun to flow through you. One more step and the true fun may begin. Now feel the anger of your people... all the betrayal they faced through Konoha... all the blood the gave for an ungrateful master... Let their hate fill your dark heart!" called Kougushi.
