Star's eyes widened a faction, and she reacted on instinct, and before she fully understood what'd happened she was crouched on the ground, her body covering what had been exposed of Darren's body, blocking Chaoe from hitting him again, and glaring with every ounce of anger that she was struggling to restrain, as she attempted to aid Kiah by pushing the girl off and trying to pull Darren out from under her, not caring in the slightest if the girl hit her.

Chaoe's eyes widened when everyone started pushing and pulling her away from the boy before they narrowed dangerously. With a growl she went in for another hit, eyes blank.
Then in a flash of red a teen (man?) picked her up off Darren, sighing. "Yuuka, you can stop now. Shh, shh...it's fine." He cooed, tipping a top hat that strangly looked like it belonged to the Earl back a bit. Grey eyes warm with love. "It's not Gabby, you can relax."
She quickly stopped, eyes going back to normal. "A-ah..."
Darren groaned and sat up, perfectly fine. He whined a bit, "You're laaaaaaaate, Aka."
Said redhead grinned and tipped the hat he had on, "I was gathering info and ran into a...big problem. But look! I managed to get another two hats to add to my collection!" He beamed.
(I'm not even sure myself what happened here. :I
Chaoe went..berserk for some reason? Aka teleported in with two tophats of the Earl's? and Darren has no injuries because they healed superfast? This is fishy and weird. :U )

Timothy gasped and let go of Chaoe, falling back before looking up at the
other. This was anything but a quiet night. Quickly he glanced to Kiah before
back to Aka and then to Darren. Confusion was written all over his pale face.

Star was silent and still, her entire body tense as she carefully checked Darren for any injuries, face expressionless, not even showing the slightest sign of surprise when she found none.
She took a deep breath and snapped her gaze to Chaoe, eyes blazing, "WHAT THE HELL!?" She snapped, pushing Darren so that he was behind her as she made no move to stand, making sure that if the girl tried anything else she'd be the one to take the blow, her expression morphing into one of pure anger, "He came over to apologize and you-!" She cut off with a snarl, snapping her gaze back to Darren as she took several deep breaths, trying to calm the fury that raced through her veins, fists clenched tight as she tried to keep herself under control.

Chaoe: DEAD. YOU KILLED ME. I CAN'T. rofl ))
Kiah didn't know exactly what happened, but all she knew at that moment was that Chaoe was gone, Darren was fine with Star draped over him protectively, and Timothy was grasping at the air in a similar manner as herself. When she finally looked up, she was relieved to see Aka carrying a calmer Chaoe, wearing a very strange looking hat. "Oh Aka... You've always gotta be the center of attention, don't you?" Kiah sighed, glad that he was back safe and sound.
"This is Aka, Timothy. Chaoe's friend from the American Branch," she clarified, noticing his confused expression. She realized he must feel a bit overwhelmed after so much happening in one night. "I think this is all the excitement I can take..."
At Star's outburst, Kiah stepped up and narrowed her eyes, not quite trusting the younger woman in front of her to keep her cool. "Star, you need to calm down. This will be dealt with, I can assure you, even if he's fine now." She didn't let on that she wasn't surprised in the least that he was uninjured, knowing the vague reason for it. "None of us knew that was why he was running up to her, and she felt like she needed to defend herself," she stared at her with steely eyes, speaking calmly.

Listening to Kiah, he nodded, looking up at the older boy. He could feel slight
jealousy rise in the pit of his stomach, but he swallowed it down, nodding to the older... Man??
Timothy jolted upright and stood up, fists clenched. Star's rage was contagious
and it took every fiber of his being on lock down to keep his child mind from
taking action. Biting his tongue he just sneered, already determined to protect
Chaoe, even if it meant having to possess someone.

Darren tugged on Star's sleeve. "Sis, it's fine. Yu-..Chaoe was just surprised, I should have known better than to jump her from behind." He wiped a bit of blood from his cheek, obviously worried. "Aka.."
Aka grinned at Kiah and looked at Timothy for a moment before snapping his attention to Darren and Star, eyes narrowing a bit. "I'm very sorry Miss Star, Yuuka doesn't seem used to this environment yet, i'm sure she didn't mean to hurt Darren." He looked down at the girl in his arms who was currently hiding her face in his shirt. "We..really don't belong in such a peaceful place I guess." He smiled sadly, almost cynical in a way.
