Timothy pointed an accusing finger at the woman. "I bet you I can find you in a heart beat!"
Chaoe's statement brought his attention back to her. "Yeah. She's nice, but..." He made a face. "Very strict."
"Wait, you don't have a tutor? You're so lucky!" The enviousness was smothered all over the boy's pose and expression, leaning forward. "You mean no one chases you down and forces you to sit and do multiplication and addition and recite poetry??" His eyes sparkled a bit.
[Kanda] Goodnight. -Waves-
[Star] I don't have a problem with it.

(( Goodnight Kanda! <3
Star: Vanishing again, eh? Tsk tsk... I don't mind. ))
"Hmm...?" Kiah raised an eyebrow at Kanda's sentence, wondering what he was about to say when Chaoe cut him off. She simply shrugged and listened to the girl's question.
Kiah was at a loss for why it would be, except maybe because of the fact that she came from the North American Branch. She was going to speak up when Kanda beat her to it, promising her a trip to Komui's office to get someone to teach her. "... Kanda will get someone good for you, Chaoe," she said quietly once he had gone, smiling reassuringly.
"I hightly doubt that," she grinned at the boy, taking on a challenging stance. She started worrying at Timothy's excitement, hoping that he'd grow out of trying to avoid his schooling. "Timothy... Some people would love to be able to do those kinds of things. You never know when they can come in handy."

(Night Yu~ ; 3; )
Chaoe pouted a bit because Kanda was leaving but nodded, "'Kay." She smiled and giggled a bit when he patted her head, waving to him as he left.
She blinked when Timothy made a face, was it that bad? She leaned back a bit, confused by his enviousness and shook her head. "N-no.." She smiled, "But Yu-nii taught me how to play chess, it was fun!" It was also one of the first games she'd learned to play for fun and not training.

Timothy crossed his arms. EVERYBODY told him that. School was torture to him though. He just wanted to race around the order on his blades and go on missions. Deep down inside he knew that the schooling was a great gift, yet he didn't want to admit it. He made a fishyface before looking away.
"It's.. Not as bad as it sounds..." He mumbled quietly. "Hey, Chaoe.. Maybe Emilia could teach us both." Blinking at the word Chess he thought. "Oh! That game with the cool-shaped pieces? I-I don't know how to play it..." He said, almost ashamed. The orphanage he came from wasn't so well off, and the kids made do with games like Tag and Hide 'n Seek.
((Omg, Timothy teaching Chaoe how to read?? Adorableee~~ ))

((Thanks ^_^ Kiah: Yep, couldn't be helped this time though, my laptop's a pain sometimes DX))
Star sighed quietly as she made her way towards the training hall, already pulling a few of the longer strands of hair back to keep it out of her eyes, pausing when she reached the door to the hall, brow furrowed slightly at the laughter, vaguely wondering if Darren had found someone else to play with, since it'd been a while since she'd seen him.
She hoped he had, last thing she wanted was to find out he'd been causing trouble-again.
She pushed the door open farther and stepped inside, pausing when she saw the other occupants in the room, and letting her hair fall back into her eyes.

(That..would be too cute.. ; w; )
Chaoe's eyes widened and she quickly took his hands in her own, "R-really!? Ah- b-but.." She looked at the floor, cheeks flushing. "I..don't really want to bother Miss Emilia with another student.." She looked up when he mentioned the chess and she nodded, "Yeah, like the knight and the bishop." She smiled cutely, "Well, it's a fairly tricky game. I'm still learning it myself to be honest." She laughed sheepishly.
EDITTTTT
Darren skipped down the hallway and imediatly spotted Star and, in a very Darren like fashion, he ran down the hall and glomped her from behind. "BIG SISSSSSSSSSSSSSS~"

Kiah smiled victoriously as he slightly conceded that learning wasn't as painful as he made it seem, moving the rest of her boards against the wall and out of the way. "I'm sure Chaoe would be happy to teach you to play chess if you teach her how to play hide and seek," she suggested, knowing that they wouldn't really need a compromise in each others company.
Edit: "But if you have any questions about it, I'd be happy to help you out if nobody else is around," she smiled, having learned to play chess from her grandfather.
Blinking a bit at the new arrival of the room, Kiah tilted her head, spotting a girl she hadn't seen in some time standing there. "Ah... Star, right? It's been awhi-" She was cut off as another blue haired child tackled her from behind, causing Kiah to raise an eyebrow and glance between the unknown child and Timothy. "... You two haven't been messing with Komui's things, right...?"

"I'm sure Emilia wouldn't mind. She enjoys teaching... And talking.." He couldn't help but smile when her face lit up in a way. "I'm sure she wouldn't mind!"
Kiah's words were wise. "Yeah! I'll teach you Hide n Seek if you teach me Chess!"
Timothy's gaze ran from Chaoe to the newcomer. He had never seen the younger lady around and tilted his head a bit. His cautiousness dispersed when another kid ran in. His eyes widened a bit. A-Another kid?? Where were they coming from??
((I have a feeling Timothy would TableFlip at chess. xD ))

"Darren!" Star snapped, stumbling forward slightly and shooting the boy a glare over her shoulder before sighing again and turning her gaze on the other young women, deciding to deal "Yeah, that's me. You're... Kiah, right? It has been quite some time... And no-at least I hope not. This is how the little brat always looks-and, unfortunately, acts as well."

Kiah smiled at Timothy's enthusiasm, glad that the two were getting along so well. She noticed his confusion at the sight of Darren and blinked, wondering what caused his eyes to widen. "What's wrong, Timothy?"
Swallowing down the giggles that threatened to surface at Star's predicament, she examined the child behind her, noticing the same animalistic features that Aka possessed. Kiah frowned, seeing that the poor boy was much younger than the others and wondering how someone could experiment on them. "Yes, that's right. What have you been up to?" she asked, before turning her attention to Darren, "I see... You must be from the American Branch, right? What's your name?"

"I didn't know we had more kids here in the order." He stared at the boy, slightly wondering why he looked... strange? Something was a little off, but the boy couldn't place it. Not that it mattered to him anyway. A kid was a kid. A kid was a friend.
He still held onto Chaoe's hands like he was attached to her.

Chaoe grinned and nodded, "Alright!" But her happiness was short lived as soon as she saw Darren. Her made a face.
Darren whined, "But Big Siiiiiiiiiis, it's been forever since I last saw youuu.." He blinked and looked passed her when Kiah spoke to him, his wolf ears twitched and he stood straight at attention. "Yes'm. My name's Darren, i'm seven and i'm working to become an exorcist." He grinned and when he saw Chaoe his heart skipped a beat- he started running towards her with flowers in the background. "YUUKA!~"- He was met with a fist to the face and a very flustered Chaoe. "D-Don't call me that! MORON!"
Darren sat up, having fallen down from the punch, "B-but Aka gets to call you that~" He whined and clung to her waist.
She threw him off and sputtered, "D-don't touch me! And Bakage only called me that because he knows it makes me angry!" "But whyyyyyyyy" "BECAUSE HE'S A MORON!" She was very flustered by now, her whole face was red and she turned away from him. It was taking all she had not to beat the s**t out of him, she didn't want anyone here to think any less of her- especially after that incident with Timothy the other day..

Timothy was somewhat dumbfounded, seeing the ears. What on earth happened..? He could only guess the science department was behind the strange boy. He only stared as the conversation between his new friend and the beastly looking kid unfolded, unsure of what to do. Quickly he glanced back to Kiah with a puzzled look on his face.

"Same ol' same ol," Star said with a shrug, "Missions, training, and more recently trying to keep this brat from getting into trouble,"She paused and looked over her shoulder as she was released, ready to snap at the boy for whining like she always did only to blink when she found him looking so formal as opposed to his usual behavior.
She blinked as he ran by her, bewilderment in her gold eyes for a mere moment before she looked up, blinking as she watched the exchange between Darren and the girl, "And apparently I'm failing at the latter," She growled low in her throat, glaring at the boy with as much ice as she could muster.
"Darren, if she says not to call her something don't call her that!" She said angrily, easily able to sympathize with not liking certain names, even if they were your own, "And get off of her before she does something worse than punch you, cause I'm not helping you if she does."
