It was hard keeping up with a teenager and a little boy who was constantly getting his ammunition refreshed. She finally gave up trying to retaliate and just threw up her hands to keep from getting soaked. Quite pleased when she was saved, her arms laced around his neck and she rested her head against his chest, giving a tired sigh. "The boys can keep playing but you'll sit with me, won't you?"
Sensing his brother's upset at being traded, Zykariel distracted his little brother with sitting on the bank and kicking his boots in the water, then skipping rocks the way his father had taught him to way back when he was just a little elf. He'd teach Kelligrin but the child hadn't mastered the small muscle manipulation he'd need to get it to skip and Zykariel wasn't looking forward to a frustrated little elf.

A slight not to her and a nuzzle against her hair. "I'll sit with you while you dry out. Besides, I think I make it way too easy for them." Setting his wife down on his own cloak that was still try and resting over an oucropping of rock, sitting down next to her and watching the boys a moment. "Are you sure we can handle another one? Kelligrin's still rather small."

"You do." She gave another sigh as she was settled comfortably on his cloak, and lightly began brushing at water droplets with the dry pieces of her skirt. His question paused her actions and her gaze followed his to the happily splashing toddler and calmly indulging teen. It should upset her that he asked such a thing because it was too late anyway. However, she understood where he was coming from. "It might be a little stressful. Kelligrin is becoming more independent but having a new baby he might very well regress just to find the attention he feels cheated out of. The good thing is we have Zykariel when he's around and Faate to help out. Lyssie will be getting older, too." Glancing up at him. "Do you think we can do it?"

“I think Kelligrin will be fine, he’s got that independent streak already and I think he’ll enjoy being a big brother. Make him feel like he has someone to watch out for too rather than everyone looking out for him.” Tilting his head and turning a look back to her and off the children. “I think we’ll be fine…I grew up with siblings much closer than they all are. Connotations of said family aside, it can be done with effort.” Grinning then, “I just don’t want you to feel like you’re a perpetual mother to infants. You do so detest being pregnant sometimes.”

That made her feel much better and she turned her head to grin up at him then rested it against his shoulder and chest, slipping in between his spread legs to cuddle with him. "I thought the same thing. Kelligrin won't be like Lyssie was and wanting to still be the baby of the family. I think he hates that title, actually." Sighing contentedly then pressing a kiss to his cheek. "I sure do. When I'm puffy and I can't bend down and my back hurts and I can't eat and I randomly fall into reverie every hour or so...then I detest it. But you make it better and you will again."

He waited her for her to move until she settled and then he settled his arms around her waist lightly. His touches and such always did get a tad gentler when he knew she was pregnant. "He is indeed someone who doesn't want to sit around and be waited on." Shrugging lightly. "I was a bit like that too, I suppose it makes sense." Horrid connotations from his own childhood aside of course but he didn't have to say that to her to know she'd take it as thus. "I try to at least. Probably more so this time since you just had Kelligrin. Just make sure that you're taking care of yourself this time. I don't want any unnecessary stresses."

"Different personalities for each of the kids, Sevilin. You never know what mix of you and me or some other personality type we'll get." And if they kept having kids soon they'd have seen them all. Snuggling back into his embrace, she watched her oldest and youngest play. "It wasn't that long ago, was it? Only about a year and half or so. I've already started the regimented diet that gives the baby everything he or she needs and planned for our first communion as well. I don't intend to overdo or stress out too much but you might have to remind me every once in a while. You know how I can be." Giving him a grin, "However...I think I have a rather odd side effect this time. One that might require you to be a little more hands on than normal."

"Yes I know, you like to push. Even when you yourself keep telling the rest of us not to push when we're not in the best conditions." But a few blinks at the sudden revelation of something not quite right and he turned his eyes down to her again, worry instantly etched across his face. "What do you mean?"

He looked a bit concerned and she almost felt bad for teasing him like this. Shifting to her knees, she wrapped her arms around his neck and kiss-nibbled her way up his jaw to his ear, nipping it slightly before chuckling internally. Lowering her voice to a throaty whisper, she imparted her news. "I think this time I'm going to need sex a whole lot more than ever before. Think you can oblige with your perfect body and rune mage fingers, Raven?"

A blink as she shifted and started into motions that were everything but concerned and worried which only made him momentarily confused. Slight slip into stupid land as she nipped his ear before he got his senses about him once more and blinked, this time in understanding. "Oh." Giving a grin to her then and nuzzling lightly at her. "I think I can most certinally can without any issue. I'll just have to keep in mind htat you are inded pregnant."

"But I won't be pregnant pregnant for quite a while at least, Raven." They both knew what she meant because only her showing would affect the way they made love. Sliding easily into his lap, she laced her arms around his neck and lured him into a deep, drugging kiss.
"Eww, get a room, you two." Splashing halfheartedly at his parents as he reached down and covered his little brother's eyes. "Seriously. There's a little boy here and you're going to traumatize him. Forever." Rolling his eyes at his parents and picking up Kelligrin then wandering even deeper into the water with the baby in his arms.
Thinking it was some kind of game, he gleefully grinned at his parents from over his brother's shoulder. "Icky!"

He was all up for druggy kissing though his ears twitched and distracted him halfway through, causing him to break that kiss and look over his wife's shoulder to his oldest, chuckling lightly as he splashed some water. "You're just saying that because you didn't know how to knock when you were five." Grinning and giving another chuckle before a light frown. "Zykariel don't take him too deep out there. I don't even like you going out too deep."

If she wanted to kiss her husband in the middle of the day in front of her children, then she damn well would and nothing her teenage son had to say was going to stop her. His statement caused her to turn and shake her head. "Stay shallow, Zykariel. It's too dangerous."
He was annoyed with his parents who didn't seem to think he was too capable of taking care of his little brother or himself. Always telling him not to do things rather than encouraging his desire to explore. "We're fine." It's not like he was going to drop the kid. Sheesh.

He rolled his eyes. "It's not about you being fine or not, it's about things being in that water and that it's murky." And that if something did happen, well they all knew that Sevilin couldn't swim too well. He was more like a rock and always had been. Shaking his head lightly and turning his attention back to his wife for a moment. "Teenagers, what are you gonna do with them?"

"Hang them up by their toes until they scream for mercy and admit once and for all that they don't know everything and you in fact are right at least 90% of the time?" Giving him a grin and a nuzzle, then drawing him back into that drugging kiss. "Just a suggestion." She knew he was worried and sent a strong bond reprimand to her son.
He ignored his father completely, taking Kelligrin out just a bit further so he could play in the water. He had things under control. Seriously, he did. He felt it and glanced back with a frown but dutifully moved back a few feet into the slightly more shallow water. "Splash away, Kelligrin. Before the spoilsport takes away your fun again."
