Soon enough, they arrived. The house was painted with bright, cheerful colors, as were all the other houses surrounding. There was a lovely garden, though, even if it did seem a little small. "There's no maids here," explained Marcus. "I had someone clean it up yesterday. You see, no one lives here."

Terryn nodded as they pulled up. "That is not a problem. I prefer self sufficiency." She watched as the house pulled into view, her eyes widening. "It is lovely."

"No, it's fantastic," answered Marcus, his tone nettled. "I've told you before, and I'll tell you again: this is fantastic." Toward the end of his sentence, however, the argumentativeness faded and he kissed Terryn, a little beside himself with enthusiasm.

Terryn kissed him back, grabbing him by the back of the neck to pull him closer. "Well then fine, it is fantastic." She kissed him again, actually feeling a little fantastic herself.

Reluctantly, he pulled away after a few cold stares from passerby. "Good. Glad to know that you've seen reason." Marcus grinned and yanked Terryn into the little house. Most certainly fantastic.

Terryn entered, immediately noticing the Greek style art that so drastically contrasted her own. "This is just..." She paused, glancing at Marcus for approval. "Fantastic."

Michael nodded, grinning. "I'm hungry," he announced, wandering through the house. He found a bowl of fruit, and picked up something unfamiliar. "Should I risk it?"

"Oh why not, it is probably fantsastic." Terryn grinned, poking at the exotic fruit. "It does not look dangerous."

"I suppose not." Marcus took a tentative bite and juice dribbled down his chin immediately. "It's really very good," he mumbled, wiping at his face with his sleeve.

"Really?" Terryn plucked the fruit from his hand and took a bite, immediately staining her sleeves. "I agree."

"Probably traded from somewhere," remarked Marcus. He leaned over and took another bite from the fruit, wiping with his sleeve again and searching the kitchen for a napkin.

Terryn followed him, practically finishing off the fruit in a few seconds. It was very good after all. "What are you looking for?"

"I can't tell you." Marcus found the napkins at last, and he handed one to Terryn. "You look fantastic," he told her, smirking.

"Not as fantastic as this napkin." Terryn dabbed at her mouth and wiped off her upperarm. "Here is the rest of it. I fear I am going to attract flies if I get any more nectar on me."

Marcus devoured the rest of it, washed his hands in the basin, and attempted to clean himself off some. "I need to find out what this is called. Anyway. Go ahead and bathe, and later we can get a scribe (notary? What did they call them?) to fill out our form."
