Claude got the feeling that Sebastian was somehow angry at him. Wondering what it could be. He got up to make the morning tea as usual, as he was bringing the tea to the parlor where Ciel and Isabella where going to have their breakfast. He passed by Satrina who was just taking down the dirty bedsheets to the laundry room. She gave him a nod in passing when her foot stepped on an corner of a sheet that was hanging out of her laundry basket. She tripped and not wanting to have the rest of the laundry spilling everywhere, hadn't let go of the basket. The result was that she fell forwards over it and landed on her face.
THUMP!
Claude frowned and turned around. "Satrina?" He shifted the tea tray onto one hand balancing it expertly.
The girl sat up. "I'm alright....." she turned her head a bit, her cheek had a reddened scrape from the carpet. Claude sighed and knelt down beside her. holding her chin to look at the scrape. "Better put something on that....and please, be more careful."
"Yes Father." She made sure that all of the laundry was in her basket before resuming her chores. A little annoyed at Claude's rather cold treatment.
In truth, Claude was fighting not to just drop everything and tend to her himself. She had given him a horrible fright.

Claude looked at the tea he was holding in his hand.....Ciel would be waiting but this would be a good time. "Just for a moment." He said, taking the tray with him to another room.

Satrina gave Grell an embarrassed smile. "Sorry, I had....other things on my mind this morning." She dusted her dress off and followed Grell down to the laundry room.
While she was walking down stairs, she was thinking about the gender changing chocolates that she was supposed to make as well, the ingredients where easy to get. the not so easy part was that he had to get the energy of a demon to finish the magic. she wasn't powerful enough to do it herself and she wondered if Grell could help her when she was ready to start making them. as f now, there wasn't a need for the chocolates.

He knew it. Claude frowned. "And the day that we have our own children, would you just give them up to Satan as well? Because logically they would belong to him no matter what. We are Demons Sebastian, just because we can have human emotions doesn't change that." He was being cold and he knew it. but this was the truth. "What difference does it make if she stays or not? Simply by being near Ciel we ourselves are putting him at risk every moment of the day and night. Why do you think Miss Isabella put the barrier up around the manor? and why Sammael keeps guard at night?"
Claude picked up the tea tray. "I can't argue with you if you want to dismiss her, that's your choice. Mr.Michaelis." It hurt him to say it, but that part was true too. Sebastian as the head butler could fire her whenever he wanted, he had no say in the matter.

Satrina sighed. "Mostly about the chocolates, I need demonic energy to activate the magic....but I'm not strong enough." Not to mention weak, someone helpless that needed someone to look after her constantly.
She sat on a chair. "Miss Grell.....How.....does a demon get a heart?" She asked, this was the topic that had been bothering her lately.

"....Sebastian." Claude swallowed that bitterness, knowing that this time he had to be the one thinking clearly. "She returned you to me. and thanks to her help we have a chance to have our own family one day and I.....I want her to be a part of our family Sebastian. I love you....but she holds a part of my heart as well. If the thought of sharing my heart with another disturbs you then perhaps you should re-think having children, because I will love them just the same."

"Infatuation....obsession....." Satrina repeated, The deep feelings part she could understand. She wanted to be with Claude, she enjoyed spending time with him even thought he was a bit distant with her. That time with him reading her bedtimes stories the past few days.....was precious to her because while she was here, she wasn't alone. she was with family.

Claude kissed Sebastian. "No-one will ever replace you, my love. I swear." He pulled away and left the room to deliver the tea that Ciel was still waiting for.


Satrina blinked startled by the question. "Oh, I don't know.....He seems ok." In truth she didn't want to be shearing her father with his lover. Then clenched her fists as she saw Grell giving her a look. right....she can read my thoughts. "OK fine! I don't like him! If my father didn't have a human heart he would have left Sebastian by now.......Eh?"
And he wouldn't have given her a second look either. Satrina stared at Grell. "Do you think that.....he loves me as well?"

"My apologies young master....I had a....family problem to resolve." Claude said pushing his glasses up and serving him the tea.

Satrina nodded. If Grell said so, then she must take her word for it. For him she would try her best to share because she wanted to be near him.

Later that night, Claude had expected Satrina to come again with the book. But when she didn't. He smiled at Sebastian from the bed. "Sebastian.....come here." He patted the place beside him, his golden eyes filled with a promise to make love to him.

Ms.Spencer had returned to the manor the following day. Isabella and Ciel had fun trying to convince her that Grell had been a woman this whole time and everyone else in the manor where backing up their claims. The result was the governess wanted to take a few days off for a 'home vacation' to recover from her mission and sort thought her memories of Grell.
Isabella had laughed. "Now she's thinks she's going crazy."

"Ooh that's not good." Sammael urged Grell to take a seat for a moment, While Ms.Spencer attempted to wipe her feet off with a napkin.
"Miss Grell, Perhaps you should take the rest of the day off and rest. " The cat demon said. Thought he was amused, he suspected that Grell was showing the first signs of being pregant. as the go-to guy for home remedies he asked her a few questions. "Have you eaten anything out of the ordinary? You don't' have a fever so you don't have the flu. Is the this the first time you've felt nauseous?"
