Thank you for the info. everyone should know that any time they ask for a password, it is a scam, they are trying to hack you, gaia stresses that they will NEVER ask for our passwords...so....

Just today I got a pm and it said check this out. I clicked on it and luckily I have Norton Internet Security. It blocked that link and said it was fraudulent. I tell ya....people will go to extremes to try and hack your account. evil

What is the point of hacking anyway? It's fake money, and pixels. Sheesh, get a real hobby or something I say. I can see hacking a real account for actual currency, but gaian account hackers just make me laugh really.

I was hacked & it took a while for me to recover from that. Made me very mad. I spend a LOT of time on here getting the little bit of stuff I have & to have it all taken away was devistating. I still haven't heard from the MODs on it. I am not holding my breath that I ever will or will I ever see what was taken again but a few of my dear friends on here DID talk me into staying after I was taken a second time. I am glad I stayed. Now I have more than I originally did & I am VERY careful about who I trade with etc.

it is amazing how attached people get to pixellated items and gold, me included! last week i made a mistake putting items up on the MP lost 16k, was ridiculously annoyed at my self for the rest of the day! kept telling myself to stop being a damn freak, its only fake gold!!!!! sweatdrop
