Gigant Abraxia Yes, because topping and one-upping someone when they've had a bad experience is a good idea? I mean, comparing and contrasting bad experiences is one thing, but I dunno, Joker, your method seemed to be treating it like a contest, what with the "I can top it" remark. " neutral Whoa, whoa, whoa, why the hostility? People need to vent sometimes. I just want to show people that their situation isn't as bad as they initially think it is. Jeez.... FINE, I'll go in and edit it, make it more friendly.

I'll just toss ya' a heads up, then: when I am having a bad time in RL, I no longer share the truly disparaging things online because what I want is listeners, not competitors, to my problems. I would like support, and not to be told "it isn't so bad, I TOTALLY HAD SOMETHING WORSE HAPPEN LISTEN TO THIS." It's not what you're saying, it's how you're presenting it, and your unedited statement struck a chord in me.
It doesn't make someone feel better to have their problems made less of in comparison. I know what you were TRYING to do is be receptive to Sparow, and I can't speak for Sparow, but from my perspective, if you did that to me, I'd lay down a far more venom-imbued response than I am now.
You're right, people do need to vent. Responses to that venting should be supportive, not to downplay their situation because you've experienced worse.

Alright, I'm gonna stay out of this one in case it blows up and causes headaches, so for now, the matter is closed. I'll keep yer words in mind Bee, but I'm not just gonna roll over and pretend to people that things are gonna be all sunshine and rainbows. You have your methods of encouraging people, and I have mine.
That being said....
How do I fit 2 lbs of chuck round roast into a ********' TINY crock-pot that is already holding a layer of peppers and potatoes?!

Millenium Joker Misthral I slept like 4 hours last night and worked my a** off in 42 degrees, wearing chef whites and trousers >< (they were designed by a bloke who lives in a freezer, I swearz it)
I would have thought I would be totally wiped out but I can't get to sleep. D: You work in a kitchen!? JOKER = JEALOUS! crying Uh yeah, I work as an assistant chef (i'm not qualified or anything, I'm self taught/tutored) Why are you jealous, it's stressful and hard work. Though I suppose if my studies ever go to s**t I can always do a chefin course.
EDIT: Also I am getting a new Xbox360 tomorrow. The 250GB S version. Gonna transfer all my data from the old one and then trade it in for some mulah back. There's nothing wrong with my current xbox (20gb), just I have nearly filled up the Harddrive with downloads and save games, also I am concerned about it's health, it's nearly two years old and lives under the bed with the dust bunnies, plus been doing something a but suspect lately. I dunno if that is the console or the games, but I've had this problem with two new games now. The worst, and the first, was DA:2 Signature Edition. Which got a faulty disc read so many times it was unbearable and then on the 3rd stage it refused to play at all and I had to take it back and they said my console might be damaging the disc but it hadn't done it to any other game, so I didn't believe em. Plus I bought new games since that one and not faced the same issues until I got Dungeon Siege 3 the other day and experienced the message once, (so far? but it might not do it again, though it hasn't since the first time). But now I am a bit paranoid that the guy was right about my console damaging the discs and that my console might be on the verge of crapping out so it's being replaced while it's still in working order (if a bit suspect). Plus the new ones look epic so meh!

Plus the new ones look epic so meh!1: I am a culinary student. Working in a kitchen would be a dream for me. 2: I work at gamestop (I guess in the UK it would be Babbages or Funcoland, maybe EB Games.) so I can safely say that what yer doing is THE best deal for your money- the 4 GB flash memory version that's like $100 cheaper is a rip because yer just gonna end up buying a $175 250GB memory card in a few days anyway, wasting more money. As to your console damaging discs, a lot of older generation 360 systems have faulty disk drive motors, and this manifests itself in lots of problems reading, playing, skipping, and even burning/scratching discs beyond repair, until eventually the motor craps out completely. At that stage, if you don't buy a new 360, You have to either PAY microsoft to fix it (roughly $180 without warranty) or viod the warranty by opening up the face plate, removing the drive, and replacing the faulty motor with a working one (they're only $2 on ebay) Sucks that Dungeon Seige got beaten up for you. AND DA II- i have both games you mentioned (Signature edition limited preorder copy WHOOOOO!) and I would be absolutely devastated if they got damaged. However, there IS a way to get around that. First, ALWAYS buy a gameplay guarantee- it'll REALLY save yer bacon on the games you intend to keep. Second, return it within 7 days to the retailer, and tell them "I opened the disk box, and This"- that's when you show them the damaged disc- "is what I got. It won't even read. I thought it was only cosmetic damage, that I would be fine. If their customer service is any good, they'll try and replace it for you. Probably return it as defective, give you a refund in the form of the same game for the same price.

But totally ******** up with DA:ll. l did eleven hours of mini-quests/side quests till l got to the deep roads and was in there for twenty minutes. Total BS... But grats on the new 360! And you have to tell me how DS3 is. l loved DS:l but DS:ll was a total let down for me. lt was like Bioshock... l couldn't play it! l just felt like l was there doing stuff for no real reason. That's alright, it's how it goes sometimes. I wanted to be able to provide people a chance at promoting by completing a quest that had a connection to one of those two Guilds. (: I'll run something else for another faction next time!

maybe if I can find the inspiration I need and a few ideas I can make one for the thieves guild, something Darrashk would be interested in doing XP
Darrashk, the nice young gentleman who seems far too kind and generous to be a thieving scoundrel XD

I have a vague idea for a faction quest involving the thieves and DBH. Though it's vague and I need to think about it some more. Especially since I am not going to join Braxy's quest XD As soon as some of my other quests are finished I'll work on it. Although if anyone has any ideas for a quest that crosses over the two factions?
I was thinking something along the lines of a guy who got some kinda shiney thing that makes him cause trouble. DBH sent to kill him and slog thru all his shiney power. Thieves guild sent to be sneaky and steal his shiney.
Also to Sparrow. Someone said you might be trying to setup a faction for white assassins (the kind that kill the super bad peoples for the greater good). Well I was wondering if you minded if I could make take it over that task or offer some input, coz I had a brain wave last night and have enough ideas to pretty much fill in the sheet for it XD Someone said you were doing it, but now you've having such a hard time I wondered if you perhaps had put the task aside for now. Either way, I don't wanna do ANYTHING without your permission.
Also to Joker, Jaydine & Brax. (Thou Brax already knows) I was also thinking of reviving an idea that was started here (back when I when I was first in the guild) far as I know it was only an idea and never actually manifested into anything. But for another (good aligned) guild, I was thinking of reviving the Hunter's guild idea. I have enough ideas to fill in a sheet for that too. Their faction quests would pretty much revolve around killing rare beasties and pest control. I was thinking for their faction related item, since most of their guild work involves sitting in a tavern, drinking and boasting about their recent kill (kinda seeing Gaston from Beauty and the Beast in my head, lol), their item could be like some sorta special brew, which they replenish from guild halls and can carry as much as they like. Basicly some wierd a** liquor that gives them some extra stats for hunting s**t. Either something odd like that or some sorta bow/weapon, or maybe some sorta fur armor, made of the pelts of the animals you killed, enchantments get better as you rank up.
But yeah, information overload, time to scurry away before Joker gets out the duct tape again. Or I get Jaydine's super look of disapproval (why did you make me read all that and then this at the end too! I'M SORRY. My head just hurts if I keep all the ideas up there so I need to pen them to paper occasionally or I don't sleep. ~buuuu)
Oh and thanks for the information on the consoles up there Joker. Though I have heard you can buy the 4GB and just plug in a regular external SATA drive, by USB cable. And external Harddrives are like peanutz now a days. But yeah I can't be arsed to do that, (because I know I would say I would and then never do it), and also coz the 250GB looks cooler ~ yummy.
I REALLY AM DONE TALKING NOW!!
One other thing, I do officially have Gaston's song from Beauty and the Beast stuck in my head on loop now. Also I was caught humming it in the kitchen, to which my mum said I was getting too old to sing disney songs. FUUUUUU DISNEY <3 I blame the copious amount of nieces and nephews I am related to.
I'm done now, I promise. Gonna go get my Xbox now so yeah, totally done.
