@Kuju: I heard about the confiscation of the weapons. On one hand, anything designed to be a weapon can be dangerous, even if in a way that the maker didn't intend. Heck, most things are dangerous, whether or not they're weapons. On one hand I understand why the police officers confiscated them (weapons are weapons), but I don't understand why they aren't being returned. Last I heard they were being held as an "example" of the weapons that were confiscated. On the other hand, I think the troubles in the city that weekend are an example of how a few people deliberately trying to cause trouble can spoil it for everyone else.
@Lamb: If I'd been there to see you post that, I would have expressed concern at the 'bottling up' part, as that's never a good idea. And the idea that nice guys finish last, well, that's your opinion. Even if it happens to differ from mine, it doesn't give me the right to get pissed off at you, as it's your opinion, which you have a right to express, just as I have the right to express mine. Incidentally, my opinion on the topic is Yes, nice guys finish last, but only because they don't cheat like the not-nice guys do.

Don't get me wrong, if there were riots going on near me and some guy is walking down the street in scale mail I would want the cops to stop that guy. But to confiscate the dudes foam shields and PVC swords and not give them back is a little extreme. I mean he probably spent some good money and time to make them and they aren't going to hurt anyone. Unlike the rest of his gear, that could be used to hurt others and protect himself in the event of a real riot.
That scale mail must have been expensive too, but I would put money on he isn't going to be wearing it in public for a while.

Well bah I am in the dumps today.
I just learned my friends husband passed away at 3:30am. I have known them both for over 8+ years, but only online, Had first met on Everquest and continued playing online games together up till these days! Sucks to see a friend go.
He had went in for just a little routine surgery and did not wake up from it, they had been fighting for about 2 weeks to get him stable and breathing on his own. It was just his time togo I guess.

Ok so this is a Lamb progress report.. for the last 2 weeks.
I painted the back room of the house, layed down the carpet and got everything moved into it! *whew*
I finished up my drug class in 4 days.. which is a 15hour class.. the lady worked with me so I could finish fast! yay
I went down to the DPS office and took my computer test for my Drivers License and I go in at 7:30 am to do my driving test today! Since it is 2:30 am my time.
I have been busy with a few other things as well... I will update on this as time goes by! I am on a roll atm!
As Obama said *love him* Its time for change!
Well its time for a LAMB change muhahaha and its going good.!
Also thanks for the lifting my spirits up due to the friend who passed away.. I had learned a friends father passed on July 2nd also and the Ex's friend committed suicide.... they do say Deaths happen in 3s... but I can't let it hold me back

@Lamb: Sorry to hear about your friends. Glad to hear you are doing good though and really taking charge of your own life. 3nodding Hope your drivers test went ok. The weather here in Finland have been really hot lately. I've read from the news that we aren't the only ones suffering from a massive heat wave. The weather has gone all weird. Last winter was the coldest in a long time and this summer is the hottest in the long time. We are moving from one extreme to another. I can't wait what kind of storms we'll get in the fall. On a happier note. I have managed to get my strawberries to grow in my garden! Yay! There aren't many of them, but enough to enjoy it. heart I'll post a picture when I get them uploaded on my computer. edit: Here it is! strawberry Check out my dA profile for more summer pictures if you are interested. whee

"Let's just say Lamb aced it" sounds like Lamb actually did not ace it, but rather held the driving test proctor hostage at knifepoint while ripping off flatulence that could melt paint off the walls until the test was adequately "modified."
