bluebell_flowers okay, I should post this. Walkers in this guild have permission to walk my dragons. I need to turn aid offf. Some russian dude has my scroll link in his sig and I'm about to go hound him
"ACCEPT AID" does not give anyone the right to post your scroll link in their sig. Report the Russian Dude to TJ for trying to swipe your scroll. That will take care of the problem.

Good job walking, everyone! Still have some left from last night's group.
Summer is always a tough time to get these dragons matured as folks are on vacation and busy enjoying the weather. But this is when we need everyone who is available, even if it's only for a few minutes, to grab the group and walk them around. Every little bit helps! biggrin STILL NEED WALKERS! Willa-Wisp pd2care Wow Willa. You've been a busy beaver.... Lots of updates. I'm gonna have to reorganize my scroll, apparently, but won't have time until the weekend, methinks.
Ok. I got curious. Lost a Christmas, and my ONLY 2 red dorsals. Guess I'll try to breed another. Those are hard to breed.
Maybe we need to invest in some Lag Monster repellent? rofl biggrin YES! We do need lag Monster Repellant. Wonder if they sell any at Target... ^^

From what i've heard, it sounds like it's just a chance of them being like that when they hatch and a similar percentage chance method for striped and red dorsals when they're laid. The alt blacks and greens/vines are really a luck of the draw. Like the stripes and red dorsals, there doesn't seem to be any combination that works ... at least in my experience and I've tried all sorts of combinations. Wish I could be more helpful. sad
You have a higher chance of ALT black with a black/silver combo breed. I did the same with my one ALT vine, but only one can be just coincidence. All of my ALT blacks are silver/black combo. Haven't found any other combo myself. The 2 red dorsals were a fire/dorsal, and a balloon/dorsal, but again, could have been coincidence on them, as they won't even breed again. ~~RobynnAddendum: I went back through the 5 black alts I've been lucky enough to bred. This is what I found ...
Mori-Dae (my female black alt) = mother: BD Warclaw (black) + father: Tigre d'Uga (orange)
Darke o'Nyght (my male black alt) = mother: BD Warclaw (black) + father: Marmalad (orange)
Bond O07 (my male black alt) = mother: Muninn (black) + father: Taiach (gold)
Unnamed (gaurweth's male black alt) = mother: Muninn (black) + father: Otro Guy d'Oro (gold)
Unnamed (gaurweth's female black alt) = mother: Dae o'Nyght (black) + father: Vixen's Beaux (Christmas)
Although there are recurring female blacks and recurring male colors with the parents, it still is a "turkey shoot." I have tried these and other combinations frequently and have only gotten the 5 black alts.
As for the alt greens/vines, I don't have much go on as I haven't really tried to breed them as much. In fact, before TJ changed the subtle color differences between the regular (black and green/vine) eggs and the alts (black and green/vine), I was able to grab two alt greens/vines, but I did check the parentage of the four I have.
Judia (female green/vine alt) = mother: Palatina (green/vine) + father: Dark Nebula (black)
Tweedy (female green/vine alt) = mother: Twyla (green/vine) + father: MbPJ (guardian) ***grabbed from Cave***
Judash (male green/vine alt) = mother: Judia (green/vine alt) + father: boulderdash (stone)
Sylweeder (male green/vine alt) = mother: fRmq (green/vine) + father: Syvas (blue/water) ***grabbed from Cave***
Don't know if any of this actually helps or just adds to the confusion/frustration in breeding alts.
