Nena felt a bit useless but she done her part, so it was bit to let the pro's handle it. She cuddle the sleeping Issac some more.

Malkizid slowly walked down the stairs, his bare feet not making a sound against the wood of the stairs. His single eye wander in its socket as he observed the inside of the tavern to see who was present, not that he planned on staying in here. He wanted to test the matter of this realm to see if his powers worked well. The tree from yesterday was a small test for it and it seemed that he could use his powers but more tests needed to be done. He watched the odd looking woman for a moment who seemed to be occupied with her equally odd looking child. Malkizid silently walked over to the door and placed his hand on the door before pushing it open. He walked outside of the tavern and slowly closed the door behind him. His lips twitched a bit, almost making a small smile. He liked the feel of the earth under his feet, it was much better than the floor of the tavern. He walked out a decent distance away from the tavern and his single eye wander around in its socket as he observed his surroundings, seeing that his realm was not as different from his realm as he thought it would be.

Nena looked up, was someone just here? she looked side to side. Issac began to wake up, rubbing his eyes.

(Haha. At least he didn't say it loud, though you probably wouldn't have understood what he said anyways. xD Haha. Good job.)(Wow. I forgot about the rp for a moment. xD)
Malkizid tilted his head down to the ground and slowly crouched down, balanced on the balls of his feet. He set his hand on the ground and lightly ran it around along the ground, getting a feel of the earth. His fingers curled around and went inside the ground before he pulled out a small clump of dirt. He spread his fingers out and let the dirt flow in between his fingers. Once all the dirt was gone from his hand, he set hit hand flat on the ground, fingers spread open. His hand started to glow a pale light and he muttered a single word. "Retra." Large spikes of earth came out of the ground all around him.

Nena got up and felt hot, "Come on Issac, let's go get some fresh air" she smiled at the tot. She went outside of the tavern and looked up to the sky. She heard something strange and looked over to man doing something with the earth.

(Haha, you are. xD)
Loose dirt flew up in the air around the spikes, some of it landing in his hair. The earth spikes moved around through the air with sharp corners. Then, his hand suddenly stopped glowing and he slowly stood up straight. Looking at what he had just done. It was not as easy to use his powers in this realm than it was in his realm. But he would get used to it. The matter was different. He would just have to adapt to it. Just one more advantage he would have if anyone chased him inside. There was now about ten random, crooked columns of rock surrounding him.
(Sorry if I am slow. I am distracted at the moment.)

Nena watch the man with curiosity, she didn't dare go near him. She watch as he moved the earth to his bidding. Issac was memorized as well. The breeze went by, a sweet comfort for this humid day, it was even more humid in the homeland. She watched in silence, her eyes wide open to see all details.

Malzikid looked at the rock slowly, noticing every small flaw. A chip in the rock, even a small one, was a great flaw. It meant it was weaker. It was especially weak around where the rock had taken sharp turns in the air. He lightly placed his hand upon the corner and ran his fingers along it, feeling every imperfection. He let a very small sigh escape through his lips and he lightly tapped the rock with his finger, listening at it carefully. The sound of it was flawed as well. He slowly looked up from the rock and noticed that the woman was outside with her child, and they were watching him.
