Zeek gave a wheezy gasp as he started to come too. His good eye slowly started to open. He wasn't sure what Loreley was doing looking down at him. But he couldn't speak till his cheek was healed.

Nena got up and did as she was told. She got a pink bowl full of warm water and a bunch of dark colored rags that were clean. "How could this happen? it's like he made out of jello"

Nena looked at Zeek, and Loreley, her ears perked up again to the noises outside of the tavern. 'What the?" she shook her head and thought it was something harmless.

He slowly did the movements that Loreley told him to. Everything seemed to be working fine, least it looked that way.

Nena watched them as she returned to the couch, she picked up her sleeping son and slowly watched them, she would be there if they needed her.
