Natasha smiles, the flame just appears to burn brighter.
"Trying to remove oxygen from around it is quite useless if I also have a talent for aeromancy. And fire was only dangerous when I was 11 and just discovering my pyromancy gifts, the people who raised me hated me for it, they just thought I was randomly setting fire to things....whereas I just couldn't control my ability."
She grinned.
"Soon after that I found my way here to Tortuga, been here for 9 years now."
She closed her hand, a small puff of smoke escaping from the closed fist.

"well, at least I've been here longer than you, that's for sure" auron says, teleporting behind Natasha and breathing in, sucking in the smoke "similar to tobacco, but yet, it lacks the flavor" he says, taking out his pipe and snapping his fingers, producing a spark from his fingers, but no flame "oh, come on, work already" he says, snapping his fingers several times, to no avail "um, Natasha, care to lend a hand? I can't seem to get it to work"

Natasha smiled, a small flame appearing on the end of her finger as she lit the pipe.
"I consider this rock my home now. Port Royal was nothing but a prison to me. The people I thought were my parents always favoured my 'brother' and most days ignored to the point where if I snuck out to see my friend, the blacksmith's son, they wouldn't notice. Of course, I was still expected to be the perfect little girl, and shortly before they died they began trying to match me with potential future husbands."
She grins
"I'm lucky I escaped, being married to someone like the people they'd picked out would've killed me. My brother, now he knows I'm a pirate hates me and wants me dead...actually I'm one of the Navy's most wanted. He's never succeeded in capturing me though."

"Depends on how it happens." Bigfoot says, "If it happens fast enough you may not feel a thing..." "And I've been here longer then both of you together!" Bigfoot counters, jumping in on their conversation. After saying this and glancing about the tavern, Bigfoot adds. "Although I'm not sure why I've been here that long..."

"Real pirates don't need to show off to show they are powerful, just look at Storm." Bigfoot says gesurting toward the drow pirate. "You don't see her poofing from place to place like you always are."
