*Her eyes went to Xandra almost as a pleading while a sharp pain snaked its way through her.

Get a human for me. *She focused her strength to speak into the mind of a guard on the level above them, then spoke aloud.*
"Xandra, I'd like you to meet Neko, one of the Tainted Elders."
*Xandra knew far more than she should, but she was a powerful vampire at that...and more so was Kaei's sister. She no doubt felt Rogue downstairs through the family connection they shared...Within moments of asking for a human, one was dropped to the floor, knocked out cold by a guard earlier that evening and Rogue walked over to it and drank ignoring the Tainted Elder for a moment.*

The aroma which filled her sences was far from what she had hoped for. She could almost taste the blood from where she sat, almost tempting her to back off on her sences. Though she didn't, she contined to watch not by sight, but by sound.

Reaching over, she grabbed her glass once more, this time finishing off what is left in it. After draining what little liquid was left, she held the toothpick between her left index finger and thumb, ready to nibble on the olives which currently took residence on the stick.

*Rogue fell into a bit more control, but as she finished a new scent filled the room.

She dropped the body when she was done, and a guard came to retrieve it.
"Why are you tempting me here in my own domain, Neko? You show me no respect in my own territory, that much is true, and you expect information that does not concern you...You will get nothing out of me if there is something to be heard. Our time is up. Xandra, show this Tainted out if she cannot remember her way."

*Her fangs were still elongated, her eyes glowing, and her word sounded somewhat final. There was an underlying threat in all her words, and she was proud of herself for not losing her temper...yet anyway. She stood, 5'8" and strong, her expression cold.

Neko licked the wound she had caused, the cut already healed. "I tempt you because I know there is information to gain from you. You also underestimate me, something you will come to regret." Neko said, having to look up to meet Rogue's gaze. Yet the Tainted's stance left no doubt whom she saw as in charge.

She waited for the Tainted Elder to leave before she got up and left herself. Ciara had lucked out with the woman named Xandra, she knew the woman had not figured out her race, let alone her name, all she could go by would be looks. Ciara wasn't trying to and isn't trying to hide who or what she is, it is just happening to somewhat turn out that way. It did not matter to her, though she would not let her freakish nature be seen today. With her eyes still closed, she willed herself back into a more 'huamn' state, forcing her eyes to return to their blue gray color. With her sight now back, her heightend sences fell back to a near normal state for her, far from normal to any other unnatural/immortal/undead though. "These people are not so much as entertaining as I would have thought." Not meaning to actually speak this, she said it extreamly quietly.

Xandra smiled a toothy grin. She was glad to have Kaei in her life again.

I wanted to tell you, the city's underground is absolutely buzzing with news of daywalkers. A good deal of hunters are scared to be killed in their sleep, which, I'm sure you've made a pretty little mark in the ranks of all the species, as well as Rikku, Kyrre, and Alexz.

She spoke into Rogue's mind for she did not need prying ears to hear the news.

I've done a great deal of killings myself in the daylight...some saying too much, others making up this or that. If someone is certain about the vampires walking in daylight by the Elder's blood, no one knows accurately how it came to pass which is the important business.

Startled by the sudden break of the long 'silence'. Ciara had not yet decided to leave, though she had completely tuned the music around her out. Thinking about nothing, she had leaned forwards to rest her elbows against the railings.

Almost loosing her balance by the spontanious 'wake up', Ciara could feel the hunger she had now once more and rememered her task which she previously had at hand. She had to find someone soon or she could once more end up harshly vommitting a human's blood.

Now more aware of herself, she gazed once more about the dieing club. Daybreak has come by now, or has well passed. Even though she was in New York, she knew places like this had their dead moments from roughly dawn until dusk.
