Mari gave a laugh and tapped him on the stomach. "That will have to wait for when we get back to the hotel. Unless you had some other plan in mind."

he thought for a second and his eyes lit up. "you dont suppose that there would be anyone at the beach now do you?"

She smacked him on the arm. "The bar isn't even open, yet and it's still light out! Of course there's still people out there!"

"Isn't one time a day enough for you?" She grinned and rubbed his stomach. There was soon a knock on the door from the kid's room and Mari told whoever it was to come in. Garreth opened the door and looked in. "Hey. I wanted to know if I could head to the beach again. Just me. Raine and Cyan don't want to go. They're thinking they might go down to the pool before it closes."

he thought about it and nodded. it may put a damper on his plans but the kids always came first. "sure. just try not to stay out too late ok bud? it's just that we don't know the area very well."

Mari decided that it would be fine. She knew the pool closed around 10 or 11 so it wasn't going to stop them from going to the bar. "Be back by 11. No later." Garreth just nodded and headed out. He grabbed a towel and left for the beach as Raine and Cyan went to the elevator to go to the pool. He found a spot on the beach that was away from a lot of people and sat his towel down. He took off his shirt and went into the water slowly since it was chilly.

farther away from him was a girl sitting upon a rock. he had long, culrly orange hair and was wearing a bikini top. the sun shined upon her and made her hair seem to glow. she wore a pin in her hair shaped as a starfish and she looked out at the sea, smiling.

He noticed the girl, but didn't say anything to her. He figured he'd leave her be. Once he was used to the water, he went under to get his hair and the rest of his wings wet. He came back up and flapped them a bit before swimming and letting them drag behind him.

she looked over and noticed the boy with wings. her eyes widened a bit and she just watched him. she was intrigued by this.

He floated on his back and looked up at the sky. The sun was setting so it was a nice orange and pink hue. He relaxed and moved his wings a bit to keep him afloat.

she decided to swim over to him. she had a mermaid tail but he wouldn't notice at first. once she got close she peeked her head over his and looked at him. "hello there. don't see many flying people in the sea."

She had caught him offguard and he let out a startled shout, losing his balance and he sunk under for a second. He stood up and wiped the water from his eyes. He could still touch, but the water came up to about the middle of his chest. He looked at her and backed up a bit. "Yea. I guess so."
