Of course he'd think of cleaning. Laughing again, she held him tightly and then mussed her fingers through his hair. "You're such an idiot, but I love you." Sobering slightly, she nodded. "I'll make that clear to both Piper and Malik. Last thing we want is her running into anyone who knew you up there. But Piper knows the way we've decided to raise our kids and what we want them to know as well as what we don't. She won't let anything happen to them. They're as close to her as Malikhai and Dhairiss are to us."

"And you're impulsive, but I love you too." Shaing his head lightly and nodding to her as she sought to further make him feel better on the subject, even if they both knew that he was never going to be completely happy with the idea at all. "I can only hope, or you know...I'm going to take license to break fingers and egos and what not. And despite all my cleaning...I'll leave your kitchen alone."

"Of course I want to see you forever."
before tilting his head abit at his son.
"You remember when you were with what you thought was mom in that little room, underground? that wasn't really mom. that was an imposter, a shape changer. an illusion. they are very good at it."

And now he was confused. Mommy could not be in two places at once, she just couldn't. It didn't happen that way, after all she didn't know illusions and the like. Frustrated noise from him and rubbing at his eyes again with a frown. "Likes Serino?" Which was as close as he was getting with this shape changing business...yawning lightly afterwards.

"Yes like Serino, except they look like other people, and not change from horse into wind. we have one in prison, because we wanted to find you and find how to get you home."
Though he looked like he was about to drop into reverie again, so hopefully they could avoid that whole fiasco for now.

"You'll have to stand in line. My impulsive side will have dead D'vinn's if anything happens to my children. And it won't be pretty either." Moving strategically, she fell into his lap and stared up at him. "If you don't you'll simply deal with me chasing you with various instruments of torture." Tilting his head down and kissing him then just staying quiet in his arms. No more words were needed.

Serino could look like other horse colors too, so he supposed that that was an okay explaination. Thusly no fuss from him and he merely nodded to his father. "I'm home." Because he was and hey that seemed the important part. But a sigh and he restlessly plopped his head against his father's chest, little mind trying to seek out reverie like everyone else around him wanted.
"Things usually aren't pretty when you got spastic." Watching her in half fond and half amused fashion as she plopped into his lap and he laced an arm around her to make sure she wouldn't roll off. "You'll just feel guilty again when you catch me and stab me." Oh she was never going to live that down, but a light sigh and falling quiet with her...would have to see what things may come.

-------- She was getting her children ready to go. Lyssie was too young to pack for herself and Faate kept asking her what to take. The excitement in the house had steadily been spiking over the last couple of days and Zahara was ready to kill them all. Even Kelligrin had sensed something happening and chosen to be fussier than usual as if he knew he wasn't going to be allowed to go. Shifting the fussing baby and patting his back, she shook her head. "Absolutely not. You are not taking that anywhere, least of all to another plane." Turning as her other daughter solicited her attention. "Ask your father. No, wait. No. Just no. Zykariel!" He popped up a moment later crunching on a biscuit. "Yup?" "Are you going?" Shaking her head. "If you are you need to get packed. If you aren't, you might want to go and wish Malikhai a good time. They're probably already packed..." Patting Kel's back again and turning back to the chaos. "Nah, I decided I'm just going to stay here and train. With Kaelin going hes' going to...okay." Mom was too busy to listen to his reasons so he shook his head, turned and left. Outside the D'vinn residence, Kaelin was standing on the steps, having already been let in through the gate, and debating on whether or not she really wanted to do this. The decision had been left completely in her hands and she'd decided, on impulse, that getting away and seeing another plane might be good for her. Now she just wasn't so sure. She wasn't upset with Malikhai for his father's abuse of power and she hadn't said anything about it to him. Then again, they hadn't really met since that day at the tavern. Things were...kind of strange between them. She felt like she'd upset him and killed his hopes though that's never what she intended. Shifting her two small bags, she lifted her fist and knocked then quickly turned and started to walk away. Not a good idea at all...((Note: Yes, Kaelin's color changed. Too many violets in one post... As of now it will be permanent unless I find another color I like better and then there will be a note like this one.))

He was brooding. Normally he'd be doing so in his training room, but right now he needed to be out and about for eventual goodbyes and the like. Currently he was stalking the house as his listened to the goings on in the house and stayed out of his wife's way as she was packing in studious and percise fashion of the girls. Walking into the girls' room, he swiped the fussy baby from his mother, "You focus on packing them." Patting at Kelligrin. "Oh come now, will be just us boys to hang out...and mommy too but we like to have her around anyway."
Setting down another bag in the little pile they had going, Keely jogged to the door at the knocking and pulled it open, giving a smile and then an odd little blink as she was presented with a back instead of a face. "Kaelin Maerahel?"
He was amazed really at the transpirings of late. His father true to his word found what he wanted, who he wanted and all things entailed. Franklying he was surprised that Kaelin was coming. He was already packed up and what not and was currently lugging his brother around with Yinn sitting on his shoulder and back as well like the lazy thing usually liked to do. His brother seemed a tad better than he had in the last few days, but maybe that was the excitment.
"Okay, so we've packed and unpacked and packed three times now. I think that's enough. I'm willing to call truce. What about you?"

"you know we could always use an extra bridle, and some more of those other outfits. I don't know how the Koada'dal do things. I don't want to under dress. and I'm not leaving without at least a couple extra outfits for the boys as well."
a slight smirk, the tinker bags spread out with probably like two rooms of items in them, and still working on piles of things to debate over.
"besides, you know they got plenty of closet space."
Yes he indeed had done some arm twisting on that girl's mother...but it was worth it for his son.

She rolled her eyes. "We've been there enough times and you've studied enough, I don't know why you worry. The Arch elves are always going to be overly formal and you've packed quite a bit of fancy." Shaking her head and setting her hands to her hips. "Alright, we'll pack one more week of overly fancy, we can always wash things...though that's more than enough as it is. And that's all Malik D'vinn."

Galesen yawned a little before taking a sip of his tea. His bags were packed and ready to go a few days back, he had everything he needed and was bringing along a few bags of trading goods so he could gather a few things he liked from the surface. Sighing he finished off his tea and then went toward the door. Blinking he looked around for a moment. "Mykorian? You ready to go?"

"Alright, that's all. see, I can compromise."
A slight smirk at his wife before going back to packing, and giving a look to Piper.
"and no telling Zahara about the extra outfits for her girls. I don't think she'd approve, but they are considered appropriate for those fancy types. and they only show a little more cleavage and skin then her usual outfits."
then another thought.
"and don't let them know we might go to visit with the arch elves either."

He didn't know why he was going...probably because he had more or less been told he was going. To this strange place that he knew nothing about and everything he owned was once again packed into his backpack, slinging it over hsi shoulder he walked out to meet Galesen. "Yeah I guess."
"Compromise in your own way, yes." Watching him and letting his stuff things away in bags, knowing he had his own method to all of this. "I don't think it's Zahara who has the problem...other than that they're just children. Anyone who's leering at them for such things should be maimed anyway." Raising an eyebrow in the 'do you think me stupid' way. "I'm not letting anything that will raise Sevilin's agitation levels anymore than they are now. The important thing is we're not going to let anything happen to the girls and that's all that needs to be focused on. Why so intent on the arch this time? Looking to give young Glynnic more testing in the waters of rulership?" Getting a fond look, "Personally I'm going to enjoy seeing Isle and Nillrik...and Lharika. Can you believe she's almost all grown up? She should be hitting just around one hundered now.

A look to the kid before he gave a small nod. "Alright then come on, we don't wanna be late." So out the door they went, Galesen then paused to lock the door not just by key but by a rune Sevilin set up to be put in place when he left for a period of time. All it took was a few good twists of his key to put it up. So after locking up his house for gods know how long Galesen called forth Barhnel, after getting their stuff packed on he and Mykorian were at Twilight in a blink of an eye. Petting his horse Galesen got off and few him an apple before heading to the fortress with Mykorian with him. Once inside the elf looked around for a moment, he wondered where everyone was. "Huh I thought they be ready to go by now." A small shrug before he walked around, he told a servant to tell the others they were there and then sent them off, now it was time to wait.
