Uh oh, she was pulling the discussion card. "Fair enough." Shifting his hold on his daughter, he stood up, promptly following his wife, which of course was going to include a trip to the nursery to drop off their daughter. "So is this one of those, 'Sevilin you're in trouble' talks or 'Sevilin you're doing something amusing and or stupid and you don't know it' talks...then again those could be the same thing really..."

Tucking Lyssie in and checking on Faate, she led the way back to their room and slid her boots off then relaxed back on the bed. "Neither. This is how willing are you to let our children be away from us for a potentially long period of time as long as I can promise you that they'll be safe and protected the entire time?"

Settling children in and checking on others, it was a short trip back to their room where apparently he was at least spared of trouble. But he did cross his arms over his chest and put on that pouting look that was mixed with disdain and aggravation. "You know I hate that place and them going to that place. Especially when they don't know how bad it is to even think of their names. All Marrkellyn needs is one tiny whisper of something." Worry was a severe understatement.

Yup, that's what she'd more or less been afraid of. Things always went this way when it came down to deciding who was and was not going to Andal. Crossing her arms as well, she studied him for a random five minutes and then inclined her head. "Very well. I'll make the decision myself since you don't want any of them going. Of course I do feel the need to point out that you are dead to that plane and your siblings are not going to want anything to do with your children. You aren't of any use to them anymore, Sevilin."

"Won't want anything to do with them but killing them. If for anything, being 'imposters' to the family name. She's a prideful wench of a woman. Her reputation's been bashed repeatedly and she's probably even more intolerable now than she ever been before." And probably knocked off a sister or two by now as well. Clear hatred in his voice, but honestly wasn't he allowed to feel as he did about the place and possibilities? "Not so much about use anymore as it is social standings within the workings." And the last thing he needed was his sister, or Khaiver for that matter looking to do something so that no one would know that the deal of death was merely a farce.

"Yes, anymore. I know I had a temper before. and I know I could be pretty mean. But I'm not anymore, since I have to be able to take care of your and malikhai and your mom. If I'm mean like that anymore, people won't trade with me. if they won't trade, we don't get things you need."
A small grin.
"Your mom makes me work on my people skills all the time. So I'm not so mean if I lose my temper. and I have never hit your mom. if I hit her she'd take you and malikhai away from me."

He rubbed at his eyes with his hands in that irritated way, brushing his hands through his hair in his frustration over the small amount of stress he was under. Of course a little stress for him was a big deal in his opinion. Didn't feel good at all. But still listening...he understood what trading was and why it was done. Meant new things. Slight tilt of his head at his father's grin though and explaination the look on his face clearly stating that Malik had just tapped into a point in the toddler's head. When daddy hit mommy before...she didn't take him or his brother away to anywhere. "How far away?" Maybe away was subjective?

"Yes, I know. But you also know that Malik and Piper won't let anything happen to our babies or they'll be answering to us." Reaching out and lightly squeezing his shoulders. "Telling them won't do anything but we can make sure their identity remains secret and Marrkellyn doesn't know anything. We have that power, Sevilin. You know that. And that being said, I think Lyssie is finally old enough to go. Faate never went before either and I don't know if Zykariel will want to go or not. I'm tempted to leave him here but truthfully the choice should be his."

His defensive posture gave somewhat as she attempted to soothe him in the particular little ways that she knew how. From the beginning he knew this was a conversation that he wasn't going to win and his opinion may be minimal. Hell, he disagreed with himself even...after all, he didn't want to stifle his children and breed in the need to flee for fear of partental proverbial suffrocation. "So then, both girls and Zykariel if he wants to go as well. The girls will probably be irritated beyond all belief but Malik has something for that...they'll probably stay in the mountains mostly..." Obviously now he was trying to just rationalize things out.

"I'll be sure to talk to Malik and make sure he's taking extra up there with him. I don't want them suffering anymore than they have to and spring is brutal to our kind." Shaking her head. "I'm hoping they don't leave Lucana. I don't know why Kieran didn't come but if Fianna remains with him for a little while then they won't have any excuse to leave. Maybe Isle has settled slightly now that she's a mom as well?" That was probably too much to hope for though. "Besides, Malikhai and the rest of the D'vinn's will be there and Lyssie is a question asker. She'll follow Lateef and question him about everything she can think of."

She was trying to renforce his own security about letting the kids go and not be worrying evey second about what could happen up there to his kids. "The boys have a tendency to wander, if the girls get it in their heads to tag along then they're most likely going to." Frowning at that but then giving that sigh of resignation on his part. Didn't even want to touch the Isle subject...she'd throw herself and his children off cliffs for fun. "Suppose all I can do is hope for the best...and preoccupy myself."

It was true but with Malikhai and Zykariel going, they'd be gone faster than Lyssie could follow. Faate had become wise to her older brother's tricks but she was fast approaching the age where it just didn't matter anymore. Lyssie was the current pest; Faate wanted nothing whatsoever to do with her older brother's escapades. She became more like Sevilin everyday. Curving her arms around his neck and kissing his cheek, she nuzzled him. "I'm pretty sure I could help out with that." Chuckling softly, "I'll let Piper know our final decision then and tell the girls if they want to go, they can."

"You are devious, you know that? Distracting me in all sorts of ways. And if all else fails...well with three kids out of the house and one in a play pen...I can scrub everything the way I like it and it will stay clean in some places for a while." That would make him happy indeed. Cleaning alwayas did. "I'm sure there will be much squealing and excitment. Lyssie because she gets to go someplace and I'm sure the moment Faate knows that's the origin of the runing she does, she'll want to go. Oh yes...stipulation. She isn't allowed near that excuse for a Rune teacher Kytael." Just in case it ever came up...not that he expected the man to waltz around. He didn't do waltzing anymore...and for that Sevilin felt not a shred of guilt.

"Far away. I'd never get to see you again. she would never let me see you if she felt that I might hurt you. and especially if I was willing to hurt her. she even said before if I ever did lose my temper like that, she'd chop my hands off with a kitchen knife."
rubbing his head a bit.
"that..creature...didn't do mommy credit. Mom's alot tougher than that."
then a thought occured to him.
"Do you want to see what that creature looked like that you thought was mom? what it really looks like?"

"You want to see us forever?" So then...if he hit mommy then mommy wouldn't let him see him or his brother agian...and daddy wanted to be able to see them, so therefore he wouldn't hit mommy? Maybe that was okay? His little mind was still warring, more so since it was a little scrambled right now with the new information take on on such a direct level. Another rub at his eyes, the precursor to crying but he was just short of the crying mark. But then that confused look as Malik started talking of imposters. "She didn't cry." Tougher in his book was being hurt and not crying. Though a hand reached up and he touched his right ear as if he knew something deeper about how tough mommy was and how she paid for it. "Didn't look like mommy?" but...mommy was there...
