"Where you been hanging around Galesen? The brothels?" Grinning in that teenage way before a chuckle. Hey, it was an odd observation on Galesen's part and he didn't really know where else that was regularly happening. Throwing a look to his friend, "Hey now don't poke at that. If it wasn't for my grandparents and my parents being 'weird' you wouldn't exist either. So we're both lucky in that respect."

"Drow vary in shades, and fine...I have a silvery aspect to my genes when it comes to hair." Much like the Moon elves he supposed, but he wasn't going to make that connection at all. Patting at his daughter's back again, looking to soothe her more as she was giving signs of getting to that drop off point. "That's right it's not nice to hit. Zykariel don't hit." Saying it more for the girl to hear rather than to scold the son.

"You two boys just love me and my weird self and ways so much don't you." Shaking her head with a light amused look. "It would be nice if such things were that simple Galesen, but the fact is that in most places they aren't. If surface elves of different sub-races can't get along and such, then making the jump further on a regular basis seems quite impossible."

"If Isle has time to play with him." Shaking her head lightly and watching the two as all the fidgeting their son was doing was steadily becoming less and less as his mind was giving over. "You know...times like those are hte ones I'm glad despite my lack of surface exposure I still retain my resilience to the elements of such a place." Giving him one of those smiles that were soley for him, soft and sweet in its' making. "Beat me to the chase on what I was going to reprimand you for. Besides...you know you always end up having fun when you do. Though do you have a preference on where we'e staying this time? Mountians again to keep try and cut the pollens and such?"

"Yeah, that's kind of weird. Because if your parents hadn't gotten together then they never would have come to this plane and my mom wouldn't have fled and then my dad wouldn't have been recruited to come here and work and your dad would have never tricked my mom and dad into screwing each other and I would no longer be alive." Getting more dramatic at the end just for personal flair. "That's a rather convoluted story, isn't it?" Shaking his head and then shrugging. "Sorry."

She loved it so much when she was right. "It's pretty. I like your hair the way you like my eyes." She shook her head when Zykariel went off on his little mini-rant. "I assure you, Zykariel. Malik choosing his method had nothing to do with your existence. You might have existed a little bit later but you would have eventually. Right, Sevilin?" Because even though it was true, she personally didn't want her son believing that he was the result of a drow's machinations only. No need to add that onto the other issues already present. "Your father couldn't keep his hands off of me."

Galesen gave a nod to Zykariel and smiled lightly. "I know it's not that simple but in basic terms that is how it goes. In the end as you said it's all complicated with the ups and downs, and hopefully the couple will pull through and stick together, in such case Mykorian's parents did so." Though a look to the blue drow and he raised an eyebrow before he to chuckled with him. "Nah I just see things on my way around, ever since I've stopped training I have gotten a lot of free time. Been going around and observing things with interest, I just happen to see some, but few, surface elves and underdark elves together sometimes." Though a look to Fianna and he gave a small nod. "Yeah you have a point, but it may be happening still, but very slowly for sure." A sip of his drink before he leaned back in his seat. He thought about Isle for that second, even though he had not say anything much on the topic he did wonder about her child. He also wondered if the child was his since there could be a chance the little one was, he just kept his cool so that way no one would bug him about it so much. "Fianna was season is it in Andal? I rather pack the proper clothes for the trip." A blink to Zykariel as he went off into detail of how his parents went about getting him, odd but it was how it went more or less.

"I would say at this point, probably the mountains would be easiest. not only for the higher elevation and thus less nature issues, but it will put us closer to Kieran for any changes in his condition. I've already had my necromancers and clerics working on fever reducers and medicinal aids that might help him with magical based problems that may occur from a fire imbued bow and a runic arrow."

and there he went, nodded right off. Malik laid him gently down on the bed, and rubbed his back some more. he'd probably wake up all to soon and be fussy about it, but he could handle that.

"And I'll probably spend some time with Kieran, and take a measure of how he's coming along to send word to Fianna. from what I understand she's reluctant to go near him right now, partially from guilt but I have no doubt that old codger would try to have her arrested on sight for an attempted assassination."

"You say that entirely too casually."

"Watch your language." Not that it was particularly bad, but he didn't really enjoy his son speaking on such things as he was. Screwing or otherwise the entire subject. But a smirk to his wife as she sought to correct it and then blame him. "Couldn't keep my hand off of you? More like she was stalking me without pause day and night because she wanted me so badly." He could play that game too.

Table conversation always turned amusing in some way it seemed. At least put her mind elsewhere. "It's spring, just beginning and what not. Even though we don't mind temperature changes too much, it's still rather cool and there's still some sporatic snow."

"He may be better by the time we go there, and you know mother will probably be gone before us, at least the moment she feels well enough to make the trip." Shaking her head lightly, "It doesn't surprise me they're both acting that way...and we're not even going to start on Ahkallyn." Watching their son a moment as he was somewhat settled momentarily on the bed. "Probably better if she saw him herself...he'll probably make a joke at her to try and make her feel better anyway. But we'll see to all of that when we go. Have to deal with us and ours first. Just start tomorrow on that Kaelin girl."

"I know. Sick, isn't it?" Shaking his head and propping his boots on the empty chair across from him. He glanced at his parents and chuckled then held up his hands. "Can we not talk about that at the table? I just ate."

"You should be pleased, Zykariel. Knowing your parents have a healthy life of that sort is a very good omen." She shot an amused look at Sevilin and shook her head. "I beg to differ, Raven. You're the one who accosted me with your lips in the hall everytime I turned around." Wrinkling her nose and frowning at the others. "I hate spring, there's way too much in the air. The flowers are quite nice, though. Would you tell Kieran I need some more cherry blossoms, Fianna?"

Galesen smirked lightly at the boys, seemed they couldn't handle the little words being tossed back between the parents. It was funny to hear Zykariel ask his parents not to utter a word but he didn't think they would listen. "Thanks Fianna, at least I wont pack the wrong clothes. Though I can't wait to see the cheery blossoms this time around, they must be wonderful." Finishing off his drink Galesen sighed and shifted in his chair. Today he would get on with the packing after-wards, the sooner it's done the better.

"Of course."

Giving his wife a small smile and a kiss, and then getting her out of her clothes and helping get her and thier toddler settled in bed, while he stayed up to deal with the eventual wake-up fussiness that was bound to happen.

"Oh come now Zykariel, you're used to these sorts of things. You do them yourselvs." Yes he was calling the boy's common bluff just because. "And you're the one who did her best to be in every room I was going to before I got there." Shaking his head lightly and leaning back in his chair as they continued to speak on Andal. Wretched Andal.

Another mention of Kieran and she had to stifle the urge to frown. "I'll make sure to tell him, or get some for you myself." Giving a nod to Galesen then, "It's quite lovely indeed. Almost like snow in the forests still." Not to mention all the clothing colors for the wood elves changed which was always nice. Flower colors got counted into the mix.

She let him more or less make her go back to resting, and she couldn't argue that she didn't want to...though she was taking her reverie very lightly seeing as the moment their todler made a noise of his own, she was always looking to make sure he was alright. Bond tugging and what not. Though after a few scoldings that stopped that from her.

He however could care more or less what others wanted. He knew he wasn't feeling right and he didn't quite understand why. Again he was squirming around before lifting his head up from the bedding with a noise that said he was about to cry, looking to his father this time.

"Yes, but poor Malikhai isn't and I'd hate for you to scar him before he even gets a shot to do such things with Kaelin." Giving a grin to his father. He'd gotten out of that one easily enough, hadn't he? And lie and dignity intact too.

"That is just not the way it went. I was in the rooms you were going to because I was either doing my research in the library or getting something to eat in the dining room. And you, if I might point this out, were the one who was teasing me with runes." Shaking her head and then leaning back in her own chair as Kelligrin continued to play with things. "When are you heading back, Fianna?"

"Gee, your concern is touching." Rolling his eyes and getting himself up. "Well...I don't know about you all, but I've got some training and teenage agression to work off." Shaking his head before giving his grandmother a kiss on the cheek in passing and heading off.

"You were the one who kept coming back for the lessons."

They were definiatly amusing to watch if anything and she shook her head lightly, patting at her grandson's arm in his passing and affection befor turnign her attention back to Zahara. "Soon as I'm feeling well again I'm going to head back. Will do me no good to be under the influence anf consequence of runic stress."
PostPosted: Mon Mar 03, 2008 3:42 pm

A small nod to the elder elf and Galesen grinned lightly. "That sounds wonderful, I've never been up there in the winter though, I need to visit Andal in each season." A look back to both Zahara and Sevilin. "In the end it seemed that both of you were either there at the same time or you were teasing the other. Seemed you guys are both guilty at the courting game." A small shrug before he chuckled lightly and shook his head, yeah the history between the two drow was funny but eh that's was the way it went. A look back to Fianna before he nodded along side with Zahara's question. "Yeah I was going to ask you that, will you leave with us or go ahead of time?"

He got himself up and picked up the toddler, settling him in his lap, and rubbing his back and his hair.

"worn out and drained but can't reverie it off. I know the feeling. not all that fun."

Keeping his son taken care of and occupied for now.

"I wish I could make you understand though that you were tricked. my temper is not nearly so explosive or violent anymore. mommy fixed that and made it all better."
PostPosted: Mon Mar 03, 2008 5:17 pm

"Plenty of time do to so, seasons are long and such." One finger playing with her hair some in idle occupation of herself and her thoughts. She didn't think it wise for the other surface elf to try and play in the games of drow, but that was her anyway and she still wasn't completely comfortable with her underground counterparts. "As I said when I'm feeling better. Which is probably before you."

If one thing had to be said for the little elf, he had always been one easily soothed, though he couldn't help his fussy self right now. This just wasn't a fun feeling at all. A shake of his head in agreement to his father. "No fun." No fun at all in any way, shape, or form. But despite the fussing, he was listening to what he was being told. They kept telling him that, and mommy had somewhat shown him that. "Anymore." Which in a child's world meant that it at least had been. Had been could always be again.

She wasn't going to win, was she? Shaking her head, she gave a nod to Fianna and then stood up with Kelligrin in her hold. "Zykariel, watch your brother in the nursery, won't you? Thank you." Handing over the little boy and nudging Sevilin to pick up the lost in reverie Lyssie. "We have much to discuss, Raven."
